A314 and West London driving

I finally put my finger on a self-effect from A314 yesterday. I’ve been playing with it on and off in different situations and not been able to tag any particular responses except something a bit different about driving.

I live on the Western outskirts of London - a place that includes Southall, a true melting-pot of 100 different ethnic types. I once joked that if you could drive a straight line safely through Southall just once, they should let you pass your driving test with no further questions :open_mouth:

So, yesterday was the second time that I had just applied A314 before going out. (1 drop split on wrists and one to jawline) and I realised that my normal “style” of driving was moderated. I’m normally a bit of a screamer - in the car that is! Just therapeutic, not too much anger but lots of exasperation at the dickheads on the road (never me, of course ) Both times I’ve been out with the A314, I haven’t felt the need to comment on others, I just knew I could handle them and the actual driving felt fast but smooth. In fact, at one point, I actually felt like I was sitting a couple of feet higher up in the car - sort of like looking down on the other road users. Maybe this means that A314 has great road-rage (or at least in my case, road-sneering) implications.

If that is the case then A314 needs to become mandatory for use on Houston drivers!

lol I didnt know A314 was that powerful, absolutely hate driving in London!

Why I always took the Tube when I was there.

word of advise… if your driving a fast/powerful car (the kinda can get away from you if your not careful  ) DONT… DONT drive with other people in the car with A314… it can get out of hand… not joking, u feel like u can do more than u actually can handle… and u develop a blind spot right where the speedometer is :stuck_out_tongue: lol and u never actually realize how fast ur going…

lol if u must you can try it… its a great experience, but u dont notice actually how dangerous it really is until you look bak at it

now AMMO on the other hand, thats different/ FUN (different story… a report i have been meaning to write lol)

I wish I did! The wife has me on a strict promise not to buy a completely mad car until we have a house with one of those half-moon carriage driveways where you come in one gate and out the other :open_mouth: I guess that’s one part of the average mid-life crisis closed down…now let’s see, what else?

Now for the real test, drive west through Chiswick and out onto the Heathrow spur!!

As bond said, high power machines don’t mix well with A314 ( especially when you add P83!) Nearly killed myself on the bike a few months back, not through aggression, merely over confidence in my abilities :frowning:

having power can be a dangerous thing cant it diamond :stuck_out_tongue: lol

(now to write that report  )
