A314 at the maternity ward and other tales

Maybe I’ll just cover all my bases and get different coloured thick highlights… How does that sound…blonde, brunette and redhead?

I’d love to see the looks on those stuffed-up dinosaurs’ faces when you walk into the theatre with a tiger on your head.

Doctors and nurses

Today was an eventful day - a long road journey and a diversion to the nearest hospital when a friend of the family developed a severe nosebleed. I was driving and he was riding in the front passenger seat when he starts bleeding heavily. He’s going through a pack of tissues fast and the blood just wouldn’t stop flowing. One sodden tissue after another gets thrown into a plastic bag and the car starts to fill with the salty metallic tang of fresh blood.

Never one to pass up an opportunity to use the A314, I pulled it from my jacket pocket when we arrived outside the hospital and went to get help, applying the standard 2 drops. The nurse I locked eyes with and asked for help was very tactile, coming well into my personal space, touching my hand with her fingers and stroking my arm.

She asks me to bring him through to a small side room and she’ll get assistance - who arrives in the form of an attractive blonde doctor in her early or mid 30s. They were flirty, smiling at me whenever our eyes met and keeping it up all the time I was there. Their patient starts thinking something’s up with them and gives me a suspicious look. He knows me too well to be fooled by my innocent expression, but he doesn’t know about my pheromones.

‘Dog,’ he mouths, as soon as their backs are turned.

The patient was admitted for observation as his blood pressure was abnormally high and other readings were outside the normal range too. The doctor pulls her gloves off and walks over to me - I’m standing by the sink. We wash the blood off our hands and disinfect them side by side, arms touching. Fingers and hands accidentally touch under the flowing water and she smiles. I hope I raised her blood pressure.

‘Oops, sorry,’ she whispers.

‘Don’t mention it.’

I can feel a pair of eyes watching us. He’s still trying to figure it out, why the women are so friendly, but he can’t smell anything unusual for the blood.

I hold eye contact with her for a few seconds before we break it and she briefly places a hand on my shoulder.

I turn to leave and get a sparkly ‘Goodbye!’ and full smiles from both women. I’m hoping to bump into them later on, so I’ll see what happens. He’s on the upper floor which means I get to do what I do best in the lift with any luck.

…You Scalawag!

Well, a bit of a letdown. I didn’t see either of them today and my friend was in a subdued mood. Apart from teasing me about the night before, he was very quiet and wasn’t open to conversation.

No targets in the lift.

A wanted interruption

I was taking advantage of a rare sunny September day to take the camera out and shoot some photos for a friend. He wanted some shots of woodland landscapes and roads winding off into the distance for his website, so I’m hiking through the woods with my SLR, tripod, remote control and of course, the A314, always ready for a chance encounter.

I came across a road where the sun filtered through the trees, illuminating it with dappled sunlight and dancing shadows. A perfect autumn day, so I set up the SLR on its tripod and settle down to shoot.

Just as I’m about to trigger the camera, a black high-powered BMW shatters the silence, climbing the gradient and coming around the corner. The driver, a lady in her late 30s, gestures through the windscreen. From her expression, she was surprised by my presence and didn’t want her photo taken.

I wasn’t going to take a shot of her. I was looking for a quiet landscape and she actually ruined the shot just when conditions were perfect. I sighed and reminded myself that photographers have to be patient in this line of work, then quickly applied the A314 when I noticed the BMW had stopped 20 metres up the road, engine idling. She put it in reverse, backing up level with where I was and blocking the camera again. I scowled, hiding the bottle.

She gets out of the car with a sorry-to-bother-you-but-I’m-determined smile and asks me if I took a photo, taking up a mildly confrontational stance with arms folded.

‘No. I’m looking for quiet landscapes and you’ve just ruined my shot. You’re welcome to look. See?’

I show her the camera, with ‘No Image’ on the display and she moves in closer, well into my cloud, her arm brushing mine and our faces nearly touching. She’s attractive. Blonde, white blouse, a navy-blue knee-length skirt, model figure, a subtle hint of perfume and the natural scent of her skin. Rawr.

‘Thankyou.’ An apologetic smile. ‘I’ll be on my way.’

She turns back to the BMW and pauses. She throws a look over her shoulder and says, ‘What do you mean, I ruined your shot?’

She strikes a model pose, arms up and moving one hand through her hair, fluffing it up. She thrusts her chest and hips out, placing her other hand on the back of the BMW and pouting sulkily at me.

The pout turns into a winning smile when I grin at her and move the camera so she’s firmly in the shot. Just as I’m about to release the shutter, she spins on her heel and walks back to the driver’s side, smiling and swaying her hips. She gets back in her car and starts the engine, blowing a kiss through the window.

She’s a tease.

I have been reading your journal, very informative and interesting. where do you apply a314 most of the time? neck, wrist, chest? I just got A314 a few weeks ago but have doubts where to apply , last time was 1 drop in the neck and 1 drop in the wrist . if you are wearing a long sleeve shirt or a jacket do you apply in the wrist?

I apply to my neck, one drop each side, just behind the ears and streak downwards. I have on occasion applied A314 to the wrists in summer when the weather is hot and I can take advantage of lighter clothing.

But behind the ears is best. It encourages the ladies to rest their heads on your chest or shoulder and turn into your neck to get a good dose of it. It encourages intimacy too, since snuggling into your neck is very affectionate behaviour. I always feel friendly, affectionate and fiercely protective when a woman does that. It seems to tap into every ‘protect your mate’ instinct that I have.

Musk

I will try applying in the neck then . I am thinking of 2 or 3 drops A314, 1 ammo , 2 IH to go and 2 IO . I think that way will be more balanced . I like 2 drops A314 and 3 spaceland also.

last time I used A314 with spaceland I had a peculiar result . I have a 16 years old friend , we are quite close, I call her sister sometimes and she calls me brother , I work with his dad . So I am in her house and she calls me from the bathroom , she had minor acne but for her was like OMG THE WORLD IS GOING TO END , I said to her that it wasnt that bad, in fact was a tiny, tiny acne, all of the sudden she begins to laugh so hard , she can barely stop and in one of those laughs she ended up spitting all over mi face and I was amuse that she said that her face was hurting of so much laugh lol.

I almost forgot , she said that for some reason at that moment mi face was so funny to her , that day I used 2 drops of A314 and 3 spaceland.

Staring

Sex education. The birds and the bees. Remember those lessons in school? The girls giggling and staring dreamily at the guys? That’s all they did. Stare, stare and stare some more.

It freaked us guys out. Always staring.

This girl, 18 or 19, brought back some memories. I was in one of the largest shopping centres in the UK. I wanted to see what A314 would do to the crowds out shopping for Christmas.

It was busy. Not the packed million-plus-crowd-and-you-can-barely-move busy that you’ll find in the final 3 days before Christmas, but it was busy enough and I was soon lost in the crowd.

This place seems to be designed to make you lose your bearings and wander aimlessly. I didn’t mind - a target-rich environment filled with women of all ages and I was having fun counting the hits: smiles; eye contacts; women walking closer than social norms dictate for no apparent reason; ‘accidental’ physical contact and the ‘Sorry, darling’ excuses when everyone else was successfully doing the dance, that shifting and turning people do to avoid bumping into strangers as they walk.

Time out. I was hopelessly lost and broke away from the crowd to study a map of the place and regain my bearings. I picked up a leaflet and sat on a bench to study it.

Bump. A girl of around 18 or 19 suddenly sits besides me and plants herself in the seat a little too hard. Legs clad in tight fitting denim and a pair of Ugg boots cross themselves. I look up, nothing specific in mind, just keeping an awareness of what is going on around me and I’m vaguely aware of being stared at.

Eyes left and there’s a young woman. Staring. At me. I give her a smile and a friendly nod, acknowledging her presence. She smiles back briefly but continues to stare.

She wasn’t hurting anyone or anything and her staring didn’t feel aggressive or alarming, so I turn my attention back to the map.

Giggles. I look up. Another group of girls around her age were standing 5 metres away, also staring or making frantic little waving motions and ‘Get on with it!’ facial expressions aimed at my silent companion on the bench. They spot me looking at them and elbow each other, falling silent and watching expectantly.

‘Friends of yours?’

Quick, barely perceptible nods. A squeak. Stare.

Sex ed. That’s what I’m suddenly reminded of. If only she was older, say 7 years or so. I lean back and turn slightly, giving her a questioning open-to-conversation look.

‘Something on your mind, hon?’

Eyes flickered everywhere but at me, her head wobbling as if she couldn’t make up her mind about nodding or shaking it. Her eyes meet mine again. Stare.

I’m starting to feel a little spooked now. Time’s going by and I’m here for a purpose, so I stand up. A disappointed look crosses her face and she looks down at her boots, hands in her lap. I give her a ‘Goodbye’ and walk away. Her friends rush over and they pull her into their group, chattering away animatedly.

Weird. I’ll admit I have little experience of girls just staring. At least try and talk. Guys might find the endless stream of consciousness annoying or irritating, but it’s preferable to being stared at mutely.

Musk

Haha thats a pretty interesting hit, wouldn’t mind having something like that happen to me!
Did you only have A314 on?

Guys say that, until it actually happens to them. Being on the receiving end of a mute stare is deeply unsettling.

Sorry, I stick to 2 drops of A314, one on each side of my neck. I’ve used that often enough, I don’t bother to mention it any more unless I change it.

Musk

I agree that the staring can be unsettling, at least in this situation since she didn’t seem to respond to any of your overtures.

That’s not always the case, though. I have used the staring technique many times to gauge the confidence level of the man who caught my interest. If he gets squirrelly, I usually walk away. If he responds, that’s an indication that he has the confidence needed to carry on. I cannot stand to be with someone who is always looking to me to lead, so confidence is a quality that I look for early on.

However, that said, I think this girl just didn’t know what to do next. She was probably hoping that you would handle it.

It all boils down to confidence, doesn’t it?

Like any skill, it takes practice. Younger girls have no idea how to do it right. I have no difficulty recognising it as a ‘come on’ signal, but this young lady didn’t know when to stop and crossed the line.

OK. Looking back on it now, I should have gently told her she was starting to make me uncomfortable with her staring, giving her a final chance to shake herself out of it and engage in normal conversation. Then, if she didn’t respond to that, give up on her as a lost cause.

As a woman, Moonwhisper, would that satisfy your confidence criteria, that I could ‘handle it’?

Musk

Musk, you don’t strike me as a man with confidence issues. I’ve always been left feeling impressed. Intrigued.
