A314 experiment on a female professional - day by day report

deleted - same post in women’s forum.

Yeah, I’d love to hear how it goes.

Nice interesting post to read. Keep posting.

Hmm. 2nd day at hostile work environment.

1 drop of A314 split between wrists and top of lip, p74 chocolatini to the head and around the hair 40mcg.

Walked in, was late. Didn’t give a fuck. Saw the junior person walking around, said hi and asked how he was doing. Had a run in with office bitch. She was acting even bitchier than usual, acted all huffy and angry, blamed me for a lot of shit that was happening in the office although it wasn’t my fault.

MY GOAL IS TO MAKE HER BREAK DOWN AND CRY WITHOUT EVEN TRYING. ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS?

Felt awfully exhausted the rest of the day but managed to do everything well. Stayed in the office (home base) to manage some housekeeping duties. Was complimented on my manner by my clients who thought I was an excellent person, chatted and had a good laugh with the allied personnel. We had a good time until the rest of the asshole team came back from their outing and started rolling eyes and calling names, making snide remarks.

Question.

Why the fuck are they not intimidated by me yet? :stuck_out_tongue:

Question2.

The chief got REALLY AGGRO and almost physically abused me today. WTF? He threw a rubber ball at me, claiming that he was trying to practise hand-eye coordination. He then mumbled something like 'TEN MARKS for busting out her eyeball" “TWENTY marks for smashing in her face”… fucking hell. 40 year old fat bozo acting like a 4 year old kid.

Now I’m pre-empting anyone who reckons I should take this to HR. The HR department is absolutely useless and this asshole (chief) is under the thumb of the resident bitch whom he is trying to bed. They hold a lot of power in the department and if a complaint is made, it will be me being let go.

Anyhoo. yes. comments welcome.

  • a lovely person turned nasty by her workplace

Dominance challenge. He sees you as a threat. This is very likely the A314 working.

One possible response: If you can, catch the rubber ball, and put it in your pocket or purse or whatever. It’ll be a symbolic castration. If he asks for it back, you can say something like, “If I see it coming at my head again, you’ll be seeing a brick coming at yours.” or if you don’t want to be that aggressive, you can say, “You can have it back at recess, little boy.”

Another possible strategy, just give him a withering look and say, “Grow up, chief.” (Use his first name, instead of “chief”, though.)

:open_mouth: Actually I just stared him down, smiled, and stood my ground. I like the idea of catching it. I don’t have a purse btw, I act like a man, and I have man things LOL.

Take the ball, and say, “If you throw anything at me again, I’ll be coming after your other one!”

Biting my tongue.

Ok fine I am female, and breaking down and crying IRRITATES me.

Shit, any advice? Men? How do you do it? Is it just hormones that make women so prone to crying? And whats with this constant need for appreciation or affirmation… jesus. I know of people who are professionally ostracised and they probably feel like shit inside but they are all tough and macho men so they go out and have a few beers with friends and forget all about it.

I tend to deal with problems by running away. It is hard to continue being positive in such an environment.

It may seem like it, but it’s not true that men are unaffected by these sorts of things. Maybe we don’t cry, and we keep up a good front, but there are a lot of men out there with severe emotional problems caused by high-stress workplaces.

Generally speaking, men are better at “compartmentalizing” their emotional lives. The up side of this is that we can function in high-stress environments. The down side is that it can tend to make us emotionally unavailable. Also, compartmentalizing is a temporary fix. A reaction to that stress is going to come out sooner or later, whether it takes the form of an ulcer or heart attack, alcoholism, abusive behavior towards family, or whatever.

So yes, it may be partially hormones, and I think it’s also partially the way your brains are wired, and also partially the way you’re raised. You can train yourself to suppress it, but beware of how this can affect the rest of your life.

One final thought: Have you considered seeing a psychotherapist? I’m not saying you’re showing any reason that you need to, but a good therapist can show you ways of managing your stress, and can give you insights into the interpersonal dynamics of your workplace. Just a thought.

Pretty miserable today. Phero-free. I thought I’d get some brownie points by saying that it was my partner’s birthday today - the others made small talk and asked what I was buying him, etc; then they said I could take the day off. Then I was told by the resident bitch to ‘get lost’ and ‘we don’t want to look at you’ anymore… so I went home.

I am beginning to wonder. Why is the saga unfolding like this? Am I the tormentor or the tormented? The room turns silent when I walk in - it is getting very unbearable. I mean, I could tough it out but WHY SHOULD I?

Do they see me as an unreasonable bitch?

Why is this happening to me?

I used to love going to work - now I cry all the time and I have trouble sleeping and eating; I dream about work and when I wake up, it is time to go back and face that nightmare for real.

:frowning:

Moon, it really sounds like you are suffering from depression, with the crying and trouble sleeping and eating. Or at least very severe stress. I really think you should get help urgently. You said the big boss was on your side; talk to him about it. Talk to your general practitioner or a counsellor about this too. I’ve had severe depression myself, it’s no joke. Keeping it up without help could have very bad consequences.

Nah, I’m fine now. I was just under severe stress. I powered up on the light and happy pheromones and the resident bitch is the one having depression right now. Hmm. Interesting. I’ll be posting in the women’s section. I used a lot of MX235 - that stuff is gold!
