Yes, it definitely provides a bump in status, along with everything that means, including access to higher end people.
That much is obvious to me. I always get treated like I’m dress to the nines wearing A314, even if I’m in a tshirt. I love that effect.
The “downside”, if you want to call it that, is a seeming an exclusion from lower end people. I’ve noticed a little of that. “Bad” folks seem to intrinsically avoid you.

If there’s anything “downside” to this, it’s that women tend to be more LTR (long term relationship) oriented with A314, not ONS (one night stand), unless they’re very young and flitty.
