I’ve read on a few threads that -nols can convert to -none because (mainly) of heat. Is this correct?
If so, are there any tips to decrease the chance of this happening? Like, for example, spraying on the hair (less contact with skin) or even clothes?
I suppose knowing this could be helpful for those occasions when the body heat goes up (like dancing) or when the environment itself has a high temperature.
From what I’ve heard, it takes A LOT of heat to make nol convert into -none but I’ve also heard that the nols here at Androtics (IH,IO) don’t convert no matter how hot it gets but don’t quote me on that.
I’d say the best thing to do would be to spray it on your hair or clothes to slow down the conversion.
I’ve been using nols for quite sometime and I’ve never experienced any nol conversions so it’s probably a rare event that you won’t have to worry about much.
It takes about 20 minutes under optimal conditions: sweaty dude working out in gym or crazy dancing in a hot humid club. It’s not the heat or sweat that converts, it’s skin bacteria. The sweat supplies food and bacteria thrive on hot, humid skin.
Normally I don’t have problems–work has AC. But running around outside in tropical weather can be a quick conversion. The conversion of A1 and nol isn’t that bad. It’s what happens to androstenone that is truly funky: essence of roadkill. Spray some TE or TUTH in you pits and workout for an hour and you’ll see what I mean.
You can greatly reduce conversion by applying to drier parts of your body, e.g., hair & forearms. In extreme cases clothing apps are the way to go. If you’re naturally sweaty you might consider taking more showers and using antibacterial soap. It also helps to reduce red meat (less “food” in sweat), eat more veggies and wax hairy body areas (they harbor bacteria).
Realize the same process is at work on your natural mones. That’s part of the reason we need a shower after a long day. Of course you wash off all the nice mones your skin bacteria worked hard on all day to create (A1 > nol > androstenone).
I dont notice this with beta-nol, but alpha-nol … just dont get me started. IO really is one of my least favorites because of that. either that or I just dont know how to use it. In the other hand I love IH. But the best social has to be IS
I sweat a lot too, and one thing I started doing just as an experiment was when I showered, in addition to really scrubbing hard to exfoliate away as much dead skin as possible (less for bacteria to eat and thrive on) But while I was lathered up in anti bacterial soap I turned the water as cold as it would go. The theory being that the cold shock would cause my pores to close up and “trap” some of the antibacterial agents in my skin, Later as I would start to sweat I could smell the soap again and it DID take a lot longer before my sweat became offensive. It hasn’t been warm enough yet for me to try this with mones but I figure if I’m essentially sweating tricolsan (antibacterial agent) then my mones should last longer in the doses and ratio’s I want. Imagine 2 full sprays of IO being converted into instant jerk…try and calculate a good mix while trying to anticipate conversions like that into the equation!
