after putting on IO and IH for couple of hours, when the orange scent wears off… i can usually smell some funky/stinky (-none like??) residue at the point of application (e.g. wrists). if i take a deep breath of it, i feel like vomiting.
does anyone have similar experience? also, do you guys usually cover IO or IH with cologne?
note: 1 spray of togo 2x will can produce the above problem
And there’s a good reason for that. Androstenol, when subject to bacterial action on human skin breaks down to a related compound, Androstenone. How long does this take? It depends on the temperature, humidity, your hygiene, amount of bacteria on skin and how much you sweat. One of jvkohl’s articles describes this process and claims conversion can take as little as 20 minutes under optimal conditions. I suspect–based on my nose-- conversion normally takes many hours. But if you’re all hot 'n sweaty your Androstenol may be on a fast track.
Spray some in one armpit, workout for an hour and sniff each armpit. The one with the Androstenol will be shockingly rank…
Does it really break down into -none? So you can OD on -none without using any -none containing product if you use -nol containing products?
On a side note, I kind of like the smell 
I shit you not. The most common mone on male skin is A-1. The breakdown progression is A-1 to nol and, finally, to -none.

Try using some “Crystal Stick” deodorant in the spot where you apply the androstenol product. Wet the skin, rub the crystal stick on, let it dry, and maybe rinse the skin again, then apply your spray.
Crystal stick is actually really good for killing bacteria on the skin. That’s how it works as a deodorant. It kills bacteria under your arms/on your feet, so you still sweat and any natural odors you have will still come through unlike with other deodorants/antiperspirants.
excellent advice. i’ll give “crystal stick” a shot. speaking of which, if i put on a ton of -nol during the day, re-apply -nol in the evening and i’ll have -none already on me? does those “converted -none” differ from those from ammo or TUTH?
Im sure that some, if not most, of the androstenol will be diffused already before being transformed into -none, unless the conditions are extremely favorable like gegogi said. So you should have too much build up
