What is the acqua di gio formula?
Or can anyone tell me what percent is Hedione and what percent is actual perfume?
You are not gonna find the formula unless you know the manufacture personally.Just buy Hedione online. There are tons of perfume stores selling that.It is pretty cheap too.
This person here (From Pyrgos: Acqua di Gioia (Giorgio Armani)) said that ADG is 25% Heidone.
I don’t know how reliable this is though. How does he know?
Exactly - we can’t know, so it’s pointless trying to copy something like this. Rather, it’s best to make something that can stand well on its own. Recreating the ADG formula is nothing more than guesswork.
That much Hedione will overbuffer the hell out of most mixes (it acts like EST, as I’m sure you’ve already noticed) - if there really is that much Hedione in there, I think we’d know. Hedione is best used at incredibly low doses, maybe around 1-4% of the fragrance concentrate. For this reason, I doubt there’s that much Hedione in ADG. Try using ADG with a heavy sexual and see how it behaves - that’s our best indicator here.
I ended up acquiring CK One due to the fact that apparently it also has Hedione based on what I read online, I didn’t buy Acqua di Gio Because the fragrance didn’t endure very well.
But I am also looking to test with the hedione effects in these fragrances.
Unfortunately I won’t be able what part of the effects are due to the Hedione and which is due to the how good these perfumes smell.
PS: Can I mix these fragrances with my already existing deodorant? =/?
PPS: Where and how much should I apply one of these designer fragrances?
There is’nt that much hedione in CK one or ADG either. Fragrantica.com is good source of information about popular perfume’s compositions.
