I just got some hedione in the mail today and was wondering about mixing it with other mones. What do those of you that are working with hedione mix it with? I was thinking about putting some in my unscented A-1 to lessen the alcohol smell, advisable? Should I just apply it by itself, layered with other mones?

Why not join the established Hedione thread in Theory? Its not (as far as we know) a molecule under test in the AD range, so our results are going outside the main forum.

I’ve been mixing the Hedione and it hasn’t seemed to be a good idea to mix.. Perhaps it’s better to just layer.
I prefer just dabbing the pure stuff behind my ears or behind sideburns. It takes the hassle out, no need to mix, and it works great this way. Also, pure stuff is practically odourless and very potent.
I’m a dabber too. My stuff seems oil-based anyway.
I THINK I’m getting positive responses but no clear, unequivocal hits.
I do find that when I mix Hedione with other molecules it does something with diffusion where it seems to diffuse really fast like something that should last 6 hours may now last 1 or 2 hours. I am still testing this though.
But worn separate works great so I am trying to figure this out
I like to keep my hedione application spots separate from mone application spots. Forget about mixing, seems like a needless hassle if i’m being honest.
If you’re getting a strong alcohol smell, you should check the hedione-alcohol ratio (if it’s mixed with DPG) in your bottle. Get a purer version if you can.
Pure jasmine oil works better imo, but that’s just one man’s opinion!
Yes - I agree about the Jasmine as well but IME most of the easily attainable brands have a significant proportion of Hedione as well - but that maybe actually helps matters as far as clean scent/diffusion/effect goes. The purest Jasmine I’ve been able to get does tend to be a bit fecal/intense and quite difficult to use.
Mobo, are you refering to S.A. Jasmine when talking about purest jasmine?
No, that’s ASAQ. SA has a good scent and is IMO the most easily usable Jasmine for a man I’ve tried but I’m convinced it has a much higher than natural proportion of Hedione.
Oh, ASAQ. I believe that’s really expensive too. Besides the funky smell (fecal, eww…), did you have any obvious positive hits or DIHL using this?
Yes - price-wise it knocks even pheros into the shade! 
Yes but as its intensity/fecal notes make it usable in only very tiny doses, I found much more flexibility/overall effectiveness with the SA.
Have you tried diluting it in cologne, alcohol or oil to see if it buffers down the fecal thing and makes the substance more pleasant, like it does with, say, pure natural castoreum?
Not yet - As the SA Jasmine proved good for wide use, I was thinking more along the lines of keeping the ASAQ for more deliberately intense combinations, like with Deer Musk plus A314/IJ in clubs and the like. Go-for sensory overkill sorta thing!

Sorry gents, I wouldn’t have imposed on your thread except I don’t have the females on my end for this information sharing.
I received my SA Jasmine yesterday in the post and just couldn’t resist trying it today…It is strong to be sure and it does really give my test legs.
I quite like my results with Hedione and have incorporated into tests as well, I like the boost it appears to provide my Pheromones, though if the diffusion is shortened, I would not notice as I am with the larger bodies of people toward the end of my day and I do not often reapply.
I am customarily left with the scent of the Hedione or in the case today of SA Jasmin, it’s not really a comparison (SA is INTENSE) but I can usually still smell and smile shortly after, it’s reflexive…but I enjoy Hedione more to be sure, it’s subtle and not as assaulting to the senses.
I’ve never applied either in the same location as my ph applications, just as an escort, beside them.
I added Hedione to my half-used up bottle of Alter Ego (along with a few drops of essential oils to drown out the foul smell of none/AE’s original scent) and I haven’t noticed any decrease in efficacy or longevity.
I’m not convinced Hedione is dangerous to add to phero-mixes. I have also added it to a bottle of Nude and a bottle of A1 without any diminishing effect.
In the perfume industry Hedione is used for its diffusion-aiding qualities and after using my Hedione-enhanced products for several months I think it does exactly that.
