age related forum sections?

folks, what do you think about structuring this forum with into related sections that “separate the men from the boys?” see, the crowd is getting younger and it sometimes reminds me of a highschool or college forum already.

don’t get me wrong, of course this great forum is free for anybody. still, maybe a new structure would make it easier to find information one is interested in?

What, an OF forum just for those needing mone replacement therapy? Yeah, I guess the urge to gravitate towards your tribal affiliation is typically human. But no thanks, I prefer real life and the resulting variety of ages, races, sex, perspectives and creed. I have noticed the women’s forum topics are usually more mature/sophisticated than the men’s, so you might wanna hang with the ladies if the men’s topics seem too pubescent. Or maybe the women are just as young but seem older due to better writing skills and more thoughtful discussions.

well, thanx for your brief analysis, dr. freud.

it was just something that ran through my mind, so need for you to get personal.

It’s a good idea. Actually a sub forum for guys(all ages) whose targets are the younger ladies - below 30 or 25 could be created for a trial period.

gegogi is probably high on androstenone :stuck_out_tongue:

Stratos …

Try reading Geoggi’s post sans feelings on the sleeve.
You prolly already know these products work as advertised & intended.

Most threads are age neutral IF you take the ‘meat’ of the posts & bend it to your situation. Stay flexible dood.

Just a quick one to second SCoupe.

Bear in mind there are many different people on here, from diverse backgrounds and we don’t always read a post how it was intended to be taken. There are a couple of people on here who can be taken as abrasive until you get to know their style, Gegogi is one and diane999 is another. Believe me, if either of these intend their post to be abrasive or aggressive, you will know it

Hell, some people even think that Tisha is a bit of a bully, I know for a fact that she is :stuck_out_tongue:

Stratos, I hear you but you know what I found, I’ve learnt lessons from some of the young 'uns, particularly mtnjim

I gotta second Geggogi on this one. The forum has always worked well as it is with all ages, all kinds of questions, tons of diversity… it is what makes it interesting to come here. If I wanted a geriatric forum, I’d go look for one.

And I didn’t see anything personal about Geggogi’s post, unless you think it is an insult for him to suggest you visit the women’s forum. If that is the case, then please don’t. Lots of guys visit the women’s forum to ask questions or to join in the debate. But they do tend to be of the more intelligent and thoughtful kind - except Geggogi, of course, who is intelligent, and may be very thoughtful, but always comes across as blunt and confrontational.

But we always welcome his contributions on the women’s forums on the rare occassions he visits. At least he is always to the point and on target.

Diane

I’m blunt? I think of myself vague, polite, diplomatic and so PC it makes my loins hurt. I guess I’ll have use more of those little smiley thingies  to pad verbal impact for the innocent and sensitive!

Isn’t it great how a simple smiley lets you get away with anything? I submit the following, not aimed at anyone in particular:

You’re such a festering twat!
You… you… RETARDED BUTT DUMPLING!
Seriously, man. I fucking hate you and if I ever see you on the street, I’m gonna blow your kneecaps off and shoot you in the dick with salt rock. Don’t you ever show your mouth-breathing, pants-drooping pincushion face around here or you’re fucking DEAD, you hear me?

Mary Poppins was right! A spoonful of sugar does help the medicine go down!

-D4

Heh… won’t work, sorry.

Vague? Hardly.

PC? Maybe a tad, but not so’s you’d notice. :stuck_out_tongue:

Diplomatic? never.

Diane

Diamond … you left Data4 off the list - just saying

I think this describes me perfectly:

-D4

actually i fully agree with the OP. As newbies its too difficult to gather any quantitative information from all these forum posts, there are tons of qualitative information but it takes too much time sieve thru those to find out more about what would apply to yourself.

I think there needs to be a big summary board, for example

Age group, race , target age group, target race, setting, hit intensity
20-30 , chinese, 20-25 , white , club , 3/5

something along these lines with one board for one phero and maybe for each type of mix as well. with enough data we could easily spot patterns of what works well and what doesnt

And then who would be there to help the younger, newer members with their questions?

Diane

This has been covered before.

When the AMMO launch occurs there will be changes to the forum. Separation of the forum from the store and most likely the advanced from the consumers. Best bet is to wait until this occurs . No final decisions have been made yet.

Tisha

I’d like to see that too.

You lay out the spreadsheet and start to fill it in. Make sure the layout works. And there are probably several of us willing to help plug in the data.

Go ahead.

OoohYahhh

Sniff, whimper, data hypnotised me when I looked into his eyes, then I read his post, now I believe what he said…:frowning:

Yep, I’ve eaten three pounds of sugar

Diamond, don’t not think about remembering to forget those things that you know you didn’t think you knew would be positive in your life. So as you read this and try to not undecipher the things in this post, you can only think about on posts I’ve made in this thread and imagine in front of you Glenn Quagmire bobbing his head while rapidly saying “GIGGITYGIGGITYGIGGITY”, but only as fast as you can crack a smile and maybe chuckle a little.

-D4

Half a bottle of single malt last night and you throw that at me, you can really go off people sometimes  the cunning linguist’s head hurts

And, I would rather not imagine Quagmire bobbing his head in front of me (baad mental image right now :open_mouth:)
