I have Akuto and to me it smells great and last a long time. At first I thought it might be too light but it stays around ALL DAY. I’ve sprayed at 8:00 am and it was still there at the end of my night class at 10:00 pm. It pretty much covers anything pheromone wise. Just my two cents on Akuto.

I too have Akuto but I’m not really crazy about the scent. It’s not a bad scent at all, but I’m thinking it does not agree with my taste in colognes. It does last a long time and it would probably cover any pheromone odor. I guess I’m more of a neroli scent kind of guy.

Has a middle note very similar to Musc Ravageur, but is a bit more smoky, with an almost incense-like basenote.

It’s very well-rounded, and deeply sensual, but although I wear a great many heavy oriental fragrances, this one went to “The Man” as it is just too definitely masculine for me, and smells amazing on him, so I get the best of both worlds when he wears it.

Some Marigold, Pikake and/or Vibernum would definitely “feminise” Akuto, if a female version was ever toyed with, as those notes would keep the fragrance true to the original, while adding that touch of the coquette a sexy woman’s fragrance needs. :slight_smile:

As I told Jasmin after I tested my sample of Akuto:

“This stuff smells like SEX!” :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

I had applied 1 spray to the top of my hand and just periodically sniffed it as I was on my computer. After a little while, the scent “morphed” very subtlely from a slightly exotic scent to a very primal scent that just screamed “SEX!” in my head as the first thought that crossed my mind! :open_mouth:

The scent is a cross between licorice, ylang ylang, neroli, spearmint, and musk, and it lasts a VERY long time as well. I didn’t wash off that one spray from my hand, and when I woke up the next morning, it was still detectable. It also seems to have some of the fabled Androtics fixatives to it, because it sticks to skin like napalm and hangs around :stuck_out_tongue: :open_mouth: :smiley:

Best of all, I have found it to be an excellent cover scent for just about everything, including (I know Catlord17 and Examine will be interested) copulins! :open_mouth: I haven’t tested pure EW strength yet though, but it has been an excellent cover for my mixes that incorporate cops in significant concentrations.

Okay, that’s probably not the best part about Akuto … The most remarkable effect that I have noticed while using Akuto is that it sets the mood for other mones to work more effectively. Think of Akuto as a mood modifier in that it redirects women’s focus and “puts” them in the mood to think about sex. Usually that’s the first step in triggering mones to work, which results in a cascade effect as more and more “buttons” are pushed. Akuto enhances the effectiveness of several of my mixes very noticeably - If I had very few hits or IOIs beforehand, after Akuto was applied, I would notice that there were many more hits that resulted, and the IOIs would become more pronounced and noticeable.

Just be aware that, as MHarris mentioned, the scent is not for everyone, and it is definitely cologne strength, which means you will stand out in a crowd if you put too much on !

Hmm will this scent be added to the mones as an option or will it be sold separately as a cologne?

I’m interested to know if it’ll be sold as a cologne too. I was checking out the section of the store where you sell empty spray bottles. It shows that you can purchase some Neroli perfume there, but does that come in the bottle you ordered or seperate? Just curious.

Also was curious to know where are you guys in california (LA?) in relation to say San Diego and Magic Mountain?

It’s our new, standalone cologne. I may offer it nonpheromogned (or minimally pheromoned) to stores, because I really like it. I feel that it could fair well commercially.

Now, we will probably offer it as an “off the record” “secret menu” type item to our forum users. i.e., something you can get instead of the neroli in the Instant line.

I don’t want to overly clutter the basic part of the cart, but you guys aren’t normal hobbiests. Most of the people here are experts that handle the decisions.

If you look up “In N Out” burger “secret menu”, I think an approach like that will work well. Their advertised menu is neat & uncluttered, but for people “in the know”, there’s many options.

We can probably put together a sticky thread of “secret menu options” that you can request as add-ons or changes when you checkout.

A little bonus for forum users, with an exciting “cool factor”. :slight_smile:

To learn more, I highly buying “liquid truth serum” at Nic’s Happy Hour in Beverly Hills. Famous singers used to spill out of their booths, cute models often do today, and happy hour is quite reasonable for this fun, but upscale establishment.

Liquid Truth serum is something I could use BIG-TIME in mid-August, Michael.

Any idea of how many sprays of my IH double-strength might bring about that sort of result (not dead-on of course) and would it be extreme overkill to also put my Oust diffuser with the IH refill in it into the same room?

We need to try to get to the bottom of something with someone who is in a volatile relationship, but is too frightened to open up.

You can use the IH diffuser in the same room, sure. Massive doses of this one pheromone seem to work OK.

Truth Serum will be about 4 times stronger than IH.

IH in small amounts has more of an Intimacy & Depth of communication type effect, than a sheer and outright truth serum like effect. It’s just that I didn’t want to embarass anyone with a label like “Instant Intimacy” or something funny sounding like “Old Friends, Fast”. That’s why IH tends to fulfill it’s name better at higher doses.

(someone brought up the name of “Instant Female Magic” as being embarassing another thread, but you always have the excuse that it’s an anti-PMS formula; no more embarassing than a bottle of Midol)

I really love IH, and hope your Truth Serum is not too far off on the horizon, as I will want a vat of it!

I think Instant Intimacy is a fabulous name, incidentally.

It has definitely lived up to that name where I’m concerned, in any case. ^_~

Cool,so we’ll just state which products that we want to have Akuto scented in our order notes before we check out and it will be taken care of right?
