There’s this girl I’m not particularly interested in but I joke around with alot. She is 16. Usually she’ll be exposed to my usual mix, 2x IS, 1x Ammo. She’s always reacted strongly to them, sometimes getting to where she keeps making eye contact with me and giggling, I have remarked that I have the power to make her laugh on command, it gets so great.
I have also upped the amount of IS and whoo boy I neither of us can stop laughing. She is only interested in me as a friend, though, and sometimes during these giggle fits she’ll get to the point where she’ll cover her eyes to avoid looking at me, for fear that she’ll giggle and look stupid, or so she says. She says she doesn’t know what it is.
Anyone have a clue? I know she is interested in my friend, but she has explicitly told me that I am funny as fuck and I’m her best friend. I just don’t know what exactly is going on. I mean, could IS really make her laugh so much she has to cover her eyes to stop laughing? Or is Ammo contributing?
She is nervous and girls who are nervous tend to giggle a lot for no apparent reason. Your 19 and she is 16. If you both were in your 20’s that 3 year difference wouldnt be such a large gap. Girls do tend mature faster then boys in there pubecent years but not enough to fill that gap and you have to consider other factors.
I would say she has a crush on you. Let it go at that though because if she is still in the uncontrolled giggling stage she’s not mentally ready for a 19 year old.
I wasn’t going to go for it anyway. It isn’t worth jail time and being a sex offender for the rest of my life. One more year and she’ll be at the age of consent in MO. Maybe then, or maybe not. I mean, she’s cute and all, but I’m not going to pursue anything.
Most of the US is 16… There are Afew Messed Up States like Connecticut… Where from Age 13-15 you can Consent to Anyone within 3 Years your Age… Upon Reaching 16 you are at the Age of Consent but Only for Persons 16 and Up… It Varies Wildly from State to State…
Actually it varies from where ever you’re located but doesn’t consent mean parents consent? |I think at 18 you don’t need parents consent. I could be wrong. 16 is too young for this cat lol
I don’t get this discussion about age of consent, 16 or 17 year olds are still minors and adults should stay out of those pants period, a real man would need to be told this and then have to come up with something lame like “I wasn’t really going to”, especially when the crush or the open window of opportunity is being created with mones, then it is just sick. And that is my strongly felt honest opinion!
Well, Moral Boundaries Aside there Do Need to be Legal Boundaries for these Things… Mot Everyone thinks that Same Way… Honestly, there are Too Many Ages for Various Acts… In WV for Example it’s 15 to Drive, 16 to Screw, 18 to Smoke, 18 to Join the Military, and 21 to Drink… Of All of Those the Only Ones Enforced are Military Age and Drinking Age… Strangely Persons Under 21 Can’t Drink Alcoholic Beverages, but they could Eat All the Rum Balls they Want… They Didn’t Drink it…
Some laws are fucked up and we all know it. It’s absurd that you can legally be of age to enlist in the military but after you and your comrades in arms get your asses shot up, you’re not legally allowed to have a drink. WTF is that? To my thinking, if you are given the responsibility/burden of handling weapons/defending your country and in constant danger of loosing your life…not to mention watching your buddies die and having to live with the fact that you’ve also had to kill others, then you damn well deserve a drink.
As for the legal age of consent to engage in sexual intercourse, as defined by whatever state you live in…my personal opinion is…not going to be a popular one, lol. Most of you know I’m no prude, quite the opposite in fact. I don’t stand in judgment but I do have an opinion on the subject and whether or not I “agree” with the age of consent in any state… I know the difference between right and wrong.
We all have the urge to merge…but the truth is where young women’s bodies are physically “ready to procreate” and the prospect of having sex with the object of their affection is exciting… there are very very few young women who are 14/15/16 years of age who are emotionally mature enough/prepared to take this step and deal with the consequences of what it can bring.
Young men are different. They’re born with a hard-on…and from that day forward are on a mission seeking a place to put it. God bless them. It often doesn’t have the same meaning or emotional impact on them as it does on the young woman who usually puts more on the line emotionally. The girls are so eager for attention/affection that they’re easily confused by such ardor from boys/men at that age and can mistake persistent sexual pursuit or any physical relationship for love. Dangerous territory for the guy who just wants to satisfy himself and who has no other real interest in her. Although no denying that boys can also be emotionally invested and “in love”. All things considered, it’s still a calculated risk on both parts because a pregnancy/STD can ruin lives.
That said, there are some young individuals, who are more emotionally mature than others, who are somewhat better able to cope with having sex at an early age. There are exceptions to everything.

Ya, to think an 18yr old sleeping with his 16yr old gf could be arrested and labeled a sex offender is absolutely stupid…but 9/10ths of our laws on the books shouldn’t be…just one more example of stupidity in Govt.

What really bothers me is the discussion about legal age of consent here, minors are minors and simply not emotionally ready, adults should not mess with that, legal age of consent should be declare the same as when you get to vote and legally make decisions on your own.
