Regarding the mcg spray amounts, are all of the To Go bottles 2.5 mcg? I just looked at the mcg of a bottle of regular size IS/A and it is 35 mcg! No wonder it is not working. If it is only 2.5 mcg I would have to practically use the whole bottle (14 sprays) to equal the strength of 1 spray of the 30mL. How can you test accurately with such a low strength?
I also noticed some bottles have choices for mcg and some don’t. How much mcg is in regular strength x 1 or x 2?
When you guys say you are spraying up to 4-5 times of one product just what exact strength are you talking about? 35 mcg? That would be a HUGE difference from what a newbie is using.
Ok. So I just messed up on an order of TAF. It gave a huge range of mcg choices and I got 30mL with 5 mcg. Does that mean I need 7 sprays (to equal 1 spray) of a regular spray amount?
NO, it means that each spray of your bottle of TAF will have 5 mcg of TAF in it.
I understand it this way…The consumer products are mixed so that they will have the right amount of total pheromones that will match the “sweet spot” of the majority of people in 1-4 sprays.
For instance the men’s product TUTH has 2.5 mcg of androstenone plus some buffers per spray while IG has 12.5 mcg of androsterone plus some buffers per spray. They are all different.
Experimones like TAF are available in a variety of strengths so that users can experiment to find out what effects happen at different doses. Some pheromones have effects at very small doses, some have effects at very large doses. TAF may do one thing in small amounts and other things in large amounts. When you report on TAF you should tell how many sprays and the mcg per spray. I understand that even small amounts of TAF can have good effects. I look forward to what you find out about it.
I’m glad you set me straight on that. For the life of me I couldn’t figure out how they could achieve what I had been thinking. Excuse me. Brain fart. Do they have a ‘smart’ pheromone? 10,000 mg ought to do it.
Anyway, this post has completely cleared me up, and I will be sure to keep track of my experience with TAF. I just read your posted link and it was excellent - all newbies should read it!
A point to ponder, and hopefully some helpful advice: If you are going to experiment with Putatives and experimones, it is best to get them all in the same mcg’s per bottle! The reasoning is that it makes it MUCH easy to formulate mixes. And, a good starting point is at least 15mcg’s per bottle, with 30mcg’s probably even being better. If you wish to wear a single compound, it’s easy enough to dilute if need be, but potent enough not to have to use 10 sprays if used in a mix.
If you are going to mix lets say a combination of 6 pheros and want each spray to contain equal amounts of each phero, it is much easy to accomplish when all compounds are of the same strength.
On the other hand if you want the mix to be a ratio of 1:1:2:4:3:5, again it is a whole lot easy to mix when all compound are of the same strength.
I made the mistake of purchasing my experimentals in all different volumes, and mixing is a far more formidable task because of it. When I concocted Steveo"s “You Smell Like Sex” mix, it took a total of 178 sprays to get my 6 products mixed to his recommended volumes.
Very good advice indeed. I am nowhere close to begin experimenting and mixing but when I am then I will know what to do!
The TAF purchase was more for self effect, as so many of the posts reported good focusing and energy, etc. So far, the only thing I have noticed is that I am typing faster! I will report more after having used it for a week.
I am brand new…haven’t even ordered or tried anything yet. But I was just reading a sticky in the women’s and I think if there was a smart pheromone (to offset the brain fart) I’m guessing it would be TAF. It had a link to this post too: TAF induced clarity

Hi. There is nothing to report. I have been using TAF 5 mcg up to 4 sprays (including today) with no reaction whatsoever. Not sure what is going on. I know I am not supposed to use it everyday so really do not know what to do at this point.

This is why we suggest people start with the consumer products first and get those working for them.
Test products are harder to pick up on and take some practice. Not every person will get the same effect which is why there is no guarantee on them. People tend to need a larger dose of certain test products to see results as opposed to the consumer products that are balanced.
For me TAF dosnt give me energy to do things. It gives me focus. When I use it I notice my attention to detail rises. If I am washing the floor I will notice any and every missed spot. If I am washing the car, I will notice every little smudge or streak and not stop till its all gone long after everyone keeps telling me its perfect. It dosnt make me want to do things though.
Here’s a nerdy question. What is the mathmatical formula to calculate say if i buy a 30ml bottle of 10mcg of something and decide to dump it in a bottle that contains 30 ml @ 50mcg. Did I just turn my 50 into a 30? Been a while since chem class.
Hey sugarspice, the final concentration will depend on how much ml of 10 mcg stuff you add to how much ml of 50 mcg stuff.
Lets say you have ‘a’ ml of 10 mcg left which you add to ‘b’ ml of 50 mcg then the concentration of the final mix will be (10a + 50b)/(a+b). Hope that helps.
