Ammo vs PheroProof: What is the difference?

Having read almost all the post here, I was wondering about the attracting effect of ammo and pheroproof. What’s the difference?

I’m bumping this up because I want to know also.

Any takers? Jasmin?

Cheers,

 Quicksilver

I just ordered PP, so I’m hoping to figure that one out. It’s kinda new so probably most of the experienced users were involved with the test versions.

i’ll bump it up as well, I would like to know as well.

formula-wise, there are only two of the same pheromones.

Out in the field, I’ll let you guys discuss that.

Gegogi’s right, most of the experienced users were involved with MX101 (the beta test version of pheromone proof), but all of those guys received the same formula as what was released to the market. The product itself has actually been out since August '06, it just takes time for word to spread in the ‘mone world. I never made any sort of announcement on here as I didn’t feel right about it (it is androtics’ forum after all, not mine)..

I just got my PP via FedEX. Thanks Futurist! I won’t have time to test until Monday (I’ll test on my students). However I noted a few interesting features. First it smells great! On first sniff it appears to use the same fragrance as Ammo. They both list SD40B as the fragrance ingredient. Scent is somewhat similar to Chrome but sharper and more pungent (better in my estimation).

Although it’s a bit pricey the added Androstenone and Androstenol should make it a good value. The concentration of pheromones is not noted on these bottles. However I caught wind of the Androstenone and it smells in the same ball park as The Edge, so plenty strong enough to get you in serious sh!t. I’m talkin’ workout armpit, so it needs cover. I’ve had some of my wildest times with The Edge–drives certain women nuts–so it should prove to be very useful this summer.

I’m taking you’ll gladly keep us posted on your experiences with Pheroproof Gegogi. Were you able to take it out for a spin yet?

I wore PheroProof out to meet a friend for a drink at a local watering hole Friday evening. I had worn my usual mix that day (A314/IS/Instant Honesty) but the application was over 6 hours old.

I can tolerate a fair amount of -none without ill effects on me, but the effects on others are less predictable, though not usually a problem with males re: me. They may get aggressive to others around AND the woman that I may be with, and I don’t want to deal with it. The test mix, even though fairly heavy in -none, could be worn far more places than I would normally try to wear such a mix. It seemed incredibly well buffered. (Nice job!!)

From earlier experience with one of the test mixes, I dosed 2 sprays on the chest about 30 minutes before leaving. I would say that it was 45-50 minutes before I arrived at the bar. It was early, and there were only a few people there at the time. There was an A’s game on the flat screen, and unusual for this place 3 kids playing near the center with their mother watching. Walking from the bar to a table, one of the little ones almost ran into me and I sat down to wait for my friend.

I was there less than 5 minutes when the children’s mother came over and started to talk to me about the kids and saying, “I never get to go out and have fun like this anymore.” Huh? Okay, so I chatted with her for a few minutes. The place started to get crowded.

I stroll over to the bar to get another drink, and these guys by the bar are getting all social with me (“Hey, hows it going tonight? What are you up to?”) things I would expect if I frequented this place, which I don’t. Cell phone rings and my friend is two blocks away and lost. I walk away from my Guinness to take the call near the front door and to guide her in (she’s on her bike). My friend is attractive, and we’re getting quite a lot of attention while we lock up her bike. More than usual, it seems… but is it my expectation, or the PP? We have a small crowd outside the bar and I’m out there for a few minutes. I have NO expectation that my place at the bar is still available as the scene is getting lively.

We walk to the bar, and my beer is right where is was, and the guys are saving my place. They also provide us an additional stool for my friend.

I spent most of the next 90 minutes chatting with her and the guys around, but did notice IOIs from 3 women at the bar, one who was with this guy who spent more time strutting than being social. God, she looked bored; but the smile and eye contact were solid. None of the women showing interest were close, but the group of guys were pretty much on top of us and stayed pretty social the whole time; and no one got cocky with the lady. I have had to step in more than once to shut down an overly aggressive suitor when they didn’t take the polite shutdown given by the woman. I like that the vibe stayed social and friendly.

I’ll spend some more time with it over the next few weeks in social settings, and I may just try it at the office one day for grins. I need to be able to filter out the other pheromones to know more, but I know that I didn’t OD at two sprays, and it seemed that I was getting interest at a place that I don’t frequent. I need to go out with my wing and hit a few of our favorite places to check this bad boy out.

I just got my PheroProof. I’ll look forward to trying it tomorrow.

I was wondering also, what’s the concentration of the none and Androstenol in the extra bottles? Or better, the dose per spray?

Thanks,

I have The Edge, and I haven’t received any hits from it. I have the unscented, and cover it up with some of the best colognes. Maybe because I’m 44 and only spray once ? Geoggi, any ideas ?

There is 500 mcgs of none and Androstenol in each freebie. It’s great for tweaking to account for differences in body chemistry, although I feel like pheromone proof is as optimized of a formula one can make for the general public. Everyone’s different, however, so absolutely doing so 100 percent is impossible.

So you got 1000 mcgs of pheromones in the freebies and 6875 mcgs in Pheromone proof. That’s 7865 mcgs total.

Pheromone Proof! Compared to Other Bestsellers
Product Name**# of Pheromones****Pheromone Content Per Bottle**
Pheromone Proof! 5 pheromone, 6.875 mgs (6875 mcgs plus another 1000 in the bonuses)
Androstenone Pheromone Concentrate 1 pheromone, 1.5 mgs?
Pherlure??
Primal Instinct 1 pheromone, 5 mgs
Alter Ego 3 pheromones, 3.375 mgs
Scent of Eros 2 pheromones, 5 mgs

Here’s a product comparison chart I made for the site (see pheromoneproof.com). Considering that the costs of those other products in relation to their pheromone content vs. my product, the extra pheromones in the bonuses, and the fact that the most abundant pheromone in my product is more expensive to synthesize than any of the others you’ll usually see in the market, I think it more than justifies the price.

Actually what justifies the price is its performance in the field. This stuff works.

For those not paying attention in the comparison, 1000 mcg = 1 mg.

I’m ready to do a little damage on Monday!

That is a very good touch, adding some components for “tweaking.” You may want to consider explaining this a bit in your advertising. A little about how the optimal doses of certain pheromones vary with race and age, and how to use the “extras” to tailor the application to the customer’s body.

How many sprays in one of the bottles? With that info I can figure the additional dose per spray.

Gonewithwind, it’s 2.5 mcgs per spray, 200 sprays per bottle.

Now if you are using three sprays of Pheromone Proof, which yields nearly 19 mcgs of -none, then probably may not want to use more than one spray of the straight none. On the other hand, if you do just one spray of Pheromone Proof, which yields 6.25 mcgs of Androstenone, you can experiment with anywhere from an additional 1-3 sprays of the Androstenone spray.

If you want to make pheromone proof more of a social mix, just do one spray of Pheromone Proof and then put on as much as the -Alpha Androstenol as you desire.

With the tweaking sprays you can really go in a lot of different directions, although it’s something more advanced users (who don’t own other products, which is almost like an oxymoron) will be able to make more use of than your average person. Your average guy is just going to be happy with the product itself, and doesn’t need to worry about the mixing business. I think most guys outside of this forum just prefer a pick up and spray product. Since I don’t have a lot of time, that convenience is definitely important to me as well.

Thanks for the information.

The tweaking is definately a “nerd” thing. However, once people start to understand the product works, more of them may become interested in tweaking for maximal or targeted effects. It’s a good idea, essentially (as you note) replicating what more experienced users do anyway with their mixing.

Right. I’m still trying to figure out if people care about the bonuses enough anyway to keep giving them. It does cost me money to provide them. But it certainly seems like a beneficial thing for people with no other products in their arsenal. Most of my advertising brings in “newbies” as obviously most men have not used synthetic pheromones before.

I think that’s why a little explanation of tweaking is warranted. As it is now you’ll just have a small fraction of your users that understand the true value and utility of the bonuses you are providing.

Right. My only concern is providing newbies with information overload, as I think I may have done in the past. The successful sites that are able to get customers tend to dumb things down, simplify information, or just not provide the whole picture.

I normally need more than one spray of TE. 2 or 3 proved right for hot dates and bars.

Here’s another idea, based on today’s experiences with PheroProof.

I did look at your dosage recommendations on the ad page. I started off with 2 sprays to my chest, let it dry down a bit, and then put on a shirt. After huffing in my shirt a bit to get a feel for what I was wearing I decided to go for a couple more sprays on my hair. By this time the cologne aroma was getting pretty strong. I’m a little older than most users so I thought I could use a little more none, but no more cologne. I put on one spray of the none to my chest.

When I went out to the mall and shopping I found I was either well into OD teritory, or else I was easily identifiable as “the cologne wearing guy.” A couple of girls were pleasant and talkative, but more were avoiding me.

Actually, it was pretty funny and I had a good time observing the reactions. I don’t hold it against the product because I’ve been in OD land before. Next time I will use a more reasonable application.

Anyway, the idea.

Start users off with just PheroProof, and include a written explanation about finding the sweet spot, and what an OD is. You should start them off at a low dose, and have them gradually work up. You should be able to provide them this at a bit lower price point than you currently have for the combo.

Then offer an advanced users kit targeting users who have been hooked by the basic product. In this one include the tweaking extras as you do now. However, offer the PheroProof in an unscented version and also provide a bottle of cover cologne/enhancer. This will enable your advanced user to both tweak the none and nol ratios, and also uncouple the cologne dose from the pheromone dose. This kit could be sold at a higher price point, and the people getting it would understand what they were getting and appreciate it. Your ad copy for the advanced kit could include an explanation. Or - you could include an add for the advanced kit in the package with your basic product, perhaps in a sealed envelope that says “Don’t open until you’ve tried PheroProof for a week.”
