Ammunition scent

If you are wearing Ammunition and someone asks you what you are wearing you can say ‘Guess Man’ cologne. Have any of you guys tried this? They are identical to my nose and can definitely act as a good cover if you don’t want to reveal that you are wearing Ammo ofcourse.

I usually make up a name lol. I don’t wanna name a fragrance that they’re familiar with, and have it smell completely different. I also don’t want them to go home and google ammunition cologne and bust me here. ‘Guess Man’ it is!

I just say, “Oh no. This here’s a secret. It’s unusual and I like having a scent that most people haven’t encountered. Go find your own cologne.”

No No! nbully is right! Just When some desirable person asks, just say “hey! guess, man!”

Make it a game of 20 questions or whatever! Get that conversation rolling!

  :stuck_out_tongue:

Awh, man… Ammunition Cologne was supposed to be our one product that you could tell other people about. Something cool and high quality. The one you could find at Sephora.

It probably cost us more to develop this one cologne than the rest of the entire pheromone “industry” has ever spent in total to pump out their thousands of cheezy dollar store like products.

That’s it… hi ho, hi ho, out of business we go! whistles and shakes head :open_mouth:

Hey, I use some of those cheezy dollar store products! :stuck_out_tongue:

Does Ammunition smell like either Akuto or Cool Water? I’ve never owned a bottle before, but I’m intrigued by the descriptions about it

And you paid top dollar for them, too. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sarcasm aside, there’s definitlely a few good ones. I’m not saying there isn’t. You can have a rotten glass of milk that still has some cream on top.

I’m talking mostly about the scents used. Ammunition is a cologne. I’ve never seen another pheromone company develop a significant, department store quality fragrance that you’d willingly pay good money for.

The same perfumers that developed Drakkar Noir, Unforgivable, Flower Bomb and other top fragrances, developed our scents. Lower on the rung, but still good, they also developed Andron for Jovan. That was the very first pheromone fragrance 25 years ago.

It wasn’t a simple or inexpensive matter to work with the top end guys. It’s a big money $$$, big player industry. If it’s going to stick around, Ammo really needs be as big at least a niche fragrance, like Alan Cumming’s, uh… Cumming Cologne. (YOWSERS, what a name! :o And what a freakin’ LEWD ad!:

Almost nobody knows about Cumming, but it has good enough sales to eek by.

It’s nothing like Akuto, which is unapologetically sexy.

Instead it’s made to be a popular, fresh scent, with sexy, spicy twists. Fresh nightwear that’s OK for daywear.

Think of Envy. Not the scent, but the purpose. It was made to be office wear, but many use at night. Something like Green Irish Tweed or Cool Water you can use for either. Ammunition is like that scent-wise. It’s good day or night.

You’re not going to offend many people wearing it, but you’re not going to bore them either. It’s fresh with a sexy edge. It’s like the guy at the office who’s almost normal, but who does one or two things with style that makes him stand out.

Anyway… the point about the whole “secret thing” is… it’s not chloroform, for goodness sakes, so tell a few people!

People with game know it’s good to show off. Having almost completely secret tools other people don’t, shows that you’re one of the coolest people on the planet. Every woman wants a cunning provider. Just ask me. I love guys with weird gadgets!

Check your messages Jasmin, just sent you something …

Just wondering, are you familiar with the scent of Chikara? Chikara is by far my favorite product as far as scent goes that I’ve tried, but unfortunately, the pheromones in it don’t always agree with me. It’s very unique, and has a great smell that evolves from the time you spray it through dry-down. Unfortunately, I think the scent doesn’t last longer than an hour, or after an hour, the odor intensity or odor diffusion is greatly reduced.

Are you guys planning on marketing Ammunition kind of like Realm? I see realm in a lot of the perfumery stores I’ve been in, and would think Androtics would do well to branch out similarly with Ammunition.

Do what a PUA does and play The Cube. :stuck_out_tongue:

’

I tried Chikara. For me the phero formula worked ok, nothing great, but the scent, that dreadful scent, I totally hated it. And I never bought a bottle again. Realm scent was better. And I liked APC more than either of those.
But, Ammunition scent on the other hand is by far the best of any scented pheromone product I have tried. I was hooked with the first sniff. It’s addictive. I think it’s also partially due to the phero formula inside. It lasts a long time and you will get a whiff now and then to remind you that the product is still there and working. Keeps the -nol on for much longer too and doesn’t reveal any -none downside.

Yep, I sure am familiar with that! Smelled it on Bruce’s wrists myself. It smells pretty neat.

If you like it, I have a feeling you’d also like Le Male. If you’re into powdery freshness, you might also enjoy Jason’s Aloe Vera Deodorant stick.

Actually, I forgot about Realm earlier, doh! Good thing you mentioned it. Realm was the first pheromone product that went through the full R&D cycle to be a professional “department store” pheromone cologne, not Ammo.

Ammo and Akuto are the 2nd and 3rd to go through the process.

Andron is a little different. It was the first (and only?) drug store pheromone cologne. That’s a lower fragrance tier, but you should really see the way people talk about Andron over at basentoes. People are still mega nutso over it!!

If we’re forced to sell to department stores, we want it to be more fun than Realm was image-wise. I hear that old Realm was a great product, but some men had bad reactions to it, too. No matter what, we don’t want our commercial products to run the risk of giving users suicidal thoughts (androstadienone’s occasional side effect)! :open_mouth::open_mouth::open_mouth: gulp

I know it’s Michael’s biggest wish to put friendly products out there into the mass market. A sort of “happy planet” thing. Personally, I’m not so sure that would really work. I talk to far far more users than him, and most want sexual products, not happy juice. Happiness is kind of “underground” in a way.

It looks like today is going to be another busy day. I have a bajillion PMs, but when I have a moment, I’ll try to go into this in a little more detail. The professional fragrance industry is kind of an interesting pain in the butt to deal with. You see the products at the department store, but you never hear about what goes into these things.

Surprisingly I like Le Male but not Chikara. It just smells so cheap, no depth, no development nothing.
Jasmin, please do tell us more about the Fragrance industry pain in the butt thing.

And, I would love to see a scent pyramid of Ammunition and Akuto if possible.

I’ve only smelled Chikara in gelpack form, but thought it was seriously awful - and husband agreed. Nice to know Androtics is taking men’s scents seriously! though I haven’t smelled any of them yet.

Thanks for the recommendations! I will definitely look into Le Male. Although I’m surprised no one else will stand up for the scent of Chikara, I think maybe some people disliked the fragrance because something about the pheromones in it ruined it for them (I believe different people react to the pheromone smells in different ways), because I just don’t understand how you can not like a fragrance as exotic and enticing as Chikara’s.

hmm… I’m not sure about the female version of Realm (if there is one) but I was pretty sure Realm for men actually contained Estratetraenol

Yeah, that was weird. I didn’t expect that, either. I probably like it better than everyone else who posted, except you.

I’ve heard it’s different years, different effects. When Erox started, I don’t think they really knew that androstadienone was depressing to so many men.

We used to have something like a “pheromone museum”, with a huge collection of products from different brands. It was taken down awhile ago, but I’ll check and see if we still have old Realm.

Where do i find AKUTO cologne on this site , I would like to try some.
