I’ve been trying dienone and everytime I wear it, my gf says that she smells something awful and bitter. I had a straight dienone 2.5mcg spray and also IFM. Both have the same effect on her. I’ve limited myself to 2 spray or even 1 sometimes, and she still smells it on me. It’s similar to none smell but not as bad as when i have NPA on.
How do you guys get around the smell factor? I have Issey Miake but it doesn’t stay around long. I’m worried that if i use it when i’m out with other females, they might think I stink or smell wierd. Or as Catlord said " funky ".
Hmmm. I’ve never had a comment about smell when I’ve worn IFM (I have the clary sage version). Maybe she’s just sensitive to it? I only do about 1 to 2 sprays of IFM at a time, and usually along with something else like IO and or IH (and maybe some IShine). 1 to 2 sprays each at most.
Rarely, if ever, use a cover. I have tried things like Axe, but not wild about it. On special occasions where it is “expected” I might use something unique like Pheros. Otherwise I usually depend on whatever cover scent the product comes with, if any.
Some of the products I’ve used recently include Peromol Factor, Chikara, IH, IO, IShine, SOE, AE, and Safari 100. All have cover built-in. (I also have TAF and Meo-est but use along with above and in small amounts.)
I have sometimes applied a little something with Perception (which doesn’t do a THING for me by the way), NPA or TE (both of which I rarely use now), PI (very rarely use), and Pheromax. (The EO w/nol that came with TE in the LS beginners pack gets some use.)
I may give some of the higher-end colognes a try when MHarris gets his decants up, but I’m not a big cologne wearer nowadays. For better or worse.
Yeah I haven’t touched my other LS products for a while too now. Been using solely Androstic stuff. I’ve never really seen obvious signs that the LS products worked…Tho I’ve had some success with TE and Chikara in the past.
Androstics stuff clearly works to me and ON ME especially. Specially with Shine and A314 + MX102. I’m thinking of returning all my other LS products. How good are they with returns?
naaah… that sounds like androstenone… I’ve never, once, ever had a odor comment about dienone and I can sure smell androstenone easily myself and some other guys can really smell the stuff… neither men nor women have said anything about dienone…

Was it at all goat-like? If you do a search for “IFM goat” I think you should see a post by Jozef (sp?) from earlier this year/late last. Have you tried avoiding sweatier areas?
Ahh yes A1. I …by the way, did not put on any Androstenone, just to make that clear. I’ve stayed away from those products coz it’s hard to cover and asian women almost always pick up on it.
I will check for the goat-like smells PheroQuirk , LOL, but I myself cannot detect any scent at all from A1.
Jasmin, to me IFM doesn’t smell like anything after I wack it on. After a spray, all I can smell is the strong alcoholic carrier. After bout a min or 2, there’s no smell at all. Same story with A1. But my gf, boy …I can’t fool her. She picks it up whenever I wear it. Even if it’s hours earlier she still smells it and she can tell me exactly where it’s coming from. I just keep telling her I don’t know where that smell’s coming from. She describes it as " bitter ".
Jasmin, I need to purchase some Akuto from you guys..Please PM me bout that. Spoke to Mharris bout that. Perhaps it will help cover IFM more…coz at this rate, I don’t dare wear anything that contains A1 out on dates, which is a real waste. Feel really self-consious that I stink of A1.
I haven’t been sweating either. It’s winter here in Australia..I usually apply IFM to my shirt collar, and not on the skin.

I don’t know but if I had a really stinky guy sitting next to me, I couldn’t eat my bowl of favourite pasta no matter how tasty, without thinking bout the stench
Can you describe the feeling you get, or the perception of your guy, when you get affected by IFM?
The reason i asked was cause IFM might have worked for me over the weekend but I’m not sure if it’s the IFM or the other products I had on. So maybe if you describe it, I wil be able to tell you if IFM worked.
“Nice and Furry” – great way to put it, because that’s how it is. I really just roll over and want to “pet or be petted”. And I do the human equivalent of “purr”.
I don’t mind the stinkiness of it because I don’t really mind stinky men. I have a very sweaty/stinky/MANLY significant other! (Then again, if I was sitting next to a 16 year old football star oozing his pubescent testosterone smell in my personal space I would probably smack him upside the head with a bar of soap.)
I end up being clingy and loving and feminine around him when he wears it.
I spray it straight to my face when I’m feeling down or b*tchy, and it picks me right up. Really, men, treat it like a secret weapon.
Hmmm then I can’t say that happened with my date last Saturday. Didn’t see any of the clinginess. Then again I only put on one spray to the back of my shirt. But she was definitely reacting to shine and A314 though. I’ll keep u guys updated with the IFM as i put it through further testing.

I can pick up on the musky odor of A1 quite easily. To my nose, it’s one of the muskiest pheromones extant.
In fact, psychological effects and the old Erox story aside, I’d say that the original researchers noses could’ve easily led them to this molecule for investigation as a pheromone. Anything that smells so utterly human (and potent!) is always a good candidate to research for pheromonal status.
R U sure. ?.. I’ve used large doses of -dienone based mix… nothin’… bupkis… nary a negative comment… contrasted with -none where I often get a “woof… wat is that stank in here ?” reaction…
maybe the dienone really efficiently converts to something else with certain skin-bacteria substrates or around certain enzymes… there is a serious discrepancy here between the “no odor” and the “musky gag me stench” interpretations… maybe something was mislabelled, a contaminant, there are mercaptans present in some sweat (mercaptans are nature’s grossout molecules… think BAD pitsweat with onion juice) ??? Something here is missing in our understanding…

i actually wear my 'mones on my sleeve (yeah meaning i tell anyone and everyone lol) and so i get feedback that i journal. i literally request others to add to my journal.
'none can make me crazy in a bad way or a good way, but i have noticed something different with the 'none in TUTH. i agree with it more. why would that be? i dont crank-out like usual… and i have the newest version, if that makes a difference.
also id like to note an observation:
i literally can smell something one day, not really be affected, and the next day be uncontrolable. hmmm. can you literally be too turned on? not just “yeah baby” but like you cant be satisfied? a friend of a friend wants to know…
