I book on attraction I’ve read, “The Attraction Code”, mentions the concept of “locus of control” (LOC). A person with an external locus of control will tend to perceive him or herself as being at the mercy of outside events. That is, what controls him is outside of himself. A person with an internal locus of control tends to perceive circumstances as being a result of his own actions, that is, his world is controlled from within himself. The author mentions a study by E. Jerry Phares “from the mid-sixties” and another from 1971 by R. de Giuseppe which showed that men with an internal locus of control had a stronger effect on the opinions of female subjects than men with an external locus of control. (Unfortunately I don’t have any more information on the sources.)
When using Instant Gentleman I have found that I tend to feel more centred within myself, and other users have used the same word: “centred”. It’s as if others’ opinions have less effect on me. Androsterone is the key ingredient in masculine mixes that influence the opinions of others like A314 and IG. I wonder if the self-effects are causing the user to shift his focus so he has a more internal locus of control?
Going further, I wonder if the various “masculine” pheros are “ingredients” of masculine personality? Androsterone is self-control. Androstenone is the willingness to take risks. And so on.
