its interesting,too,what you said Vkat
about the TAL and TAH…
im very similar.
i dig the TAL but need the TAH.
what dose were you using with the TAH?
you know that instant sexiness B is TAH-dominant , have you thought of going mega-dose with the TAH?
im not sure that cops though make me “more inviting” …
when i wear cops, i can basically play puppet-master with the conversation and it doesnt matter what im saying.
IM CHARLIE BROWN’S TEACHER.
whah wawr whant wower …

TAA.
TAh is my fav though for saying “dont let my patent-leather catsuit fool you” …
Hey vkat (and Lor) … the other good thing about eharmony is they screen you with their (long-ass) free personality assessment, and don’t accept everybody … they turn down the folks that are just plain wack, and even if you’re not wack but you test off the scale in certain dimensions and they know they don’t have any matches for you in the geographic region you specify, they won’t take your money. This is a good thing, IMO.
oh and vkat, if I could give you a new nick it would be V:toohotforyou:kat

Well, I went back to eharmony, apparently I did fill out the reports before, and now I am rejected because I still show as separated, even though I think I did this…I don’t know when. Long enough ago to forget about it, although I do remember now. More than a year, maybe close to two. There is no place to update your marital status so I emailed them about that.
That said, I reviewed the reports and it almost made my heart ache with its accuracy. Some of the stuff I probably rejected as being true before I now realize is. Except this error caught my eye:
Obstreperousness: Your ideal mate is someone who isn’t afraid to stand up for his opinions, but doesn’t always feel the need to do so. You need someone who has beliefs and confidence strong enough to match your own. However, you will not do well with someone who needs to dominate every conversation and win every argument. You will do best with someone who knows when to speak his mind, and when to just go along with the people around him. You can tolerate a few rough edges when it comes to your ideal mate’s level of Obstreperousness, because you’ve got some yourself.
Rough EDGES? Obstreperous???(throws self down, kicks feet). Well I never. That is just so WRONG…
Of course I can tolerate a few rough edges in others, being saint-like myself, sniff.
OK OK. Instant Sexi B is next.
We’ll see if there are any matches to begin with and go from there, I guess. I might actually do this.
Perhaps that guy thought I looked too obstreperous, lol. I love that word. Not that it has anything to do with me.
Hmmm…it’s gone but I believe the 20mcg? It was a higher dosage.
you know that instant sexiness B is TAH-dominant , have you thought of going mega-dose with the TAH?
I thought I tried that too…multiple sprays - quite a few micrograms altogether and pfft, nothing. (darn should have written it down - always think I will remember - never do) I might have felt a little sweeter but I didn’t get any hits that I recall.
TAh is my fav though for saying “dont let my patent-leather catsuit fool you” …
That’s what they say. I might need uber-doses or just something more diffusive. I think I got the unscented tah.
Answering email isn’t one of eharmony’s strong points … what you could do though, vkat, is start over. Get a new free email account and just take the test again. Who knows, you might even test differently now that you’re not being dragged down by a divorce.
That obstreperous business sounds vaguely familiar, lol. DH likes to point out my polarity-responder tendencies (nlp-talk … and I don’t know WHAT he’s talking about, grumble grumble)
The owner is a big ole christian but they match all kinds of religious persuasions including atheists. They don’t do any gay matching though, which I think is lame at best, prejudiced at worst.
yeah i have issues with eharmony, specifically because of the gay thing. I can’t support any site that won’t support freedom to love AND marry whoever your little heart desires.
That being said, the way they go about matching folks seems pretty cool. I don’t like the sketchy way they seem to be with finances tho.
I dunno vkat - I don’t know how you go about livening up your social life, without reaching otu tot he universe in soem way. I know what you mean about your coworkers finding out. That’s happened at my job here and there.

Definitely get a new email address. It is safer than using your regular address. Using an extra email address is one of the items that helps ensure your safety.
Well, now I am not so sure, I am not liking the sound of not being able to get off the merry-go-round when you want to. Those complaints are profuse and recent…sigh. So often this happens. Something gets started up that’s a good idea and it makes money and then when the money rolls in people get greedy and bleed the life out of their own business grabbing for the bottom line on the balance sheet and forget all about customer service, product, reputation and credibility. Then the thing dies and they blame the market. Probably when Carrie used it it was not so. But something is going wrong there for now. It’s a shame because it looks like the surveying they use is pretty in-depth and relatively on target and if somebody matched with me they shouldn’t be too surprised at what they got. But if they can’t handle the money end and customer service with integrity…that’s a problem. What I probably really need is the old-fashioned matchmaker, who knows their people and has a feel for who matches up.
It’s true, I used it years ago in 2001. As it happened, I filled out a profile but never paid to join, then they sent me an offer of 2 weeks free communication which I used … and that was all it took! So they never even had my credit card info.
Another site to consider is match.com - I’ve met lots of folks on forums who met their spouse through them.
It mystifies me why eHarmony won’t match gay folks, unless they figure that the intricacies of gay culture are too vast and that they’d just rather stick with plain vanilla heteros who want to get married and have babies?
