My first test was T5. This was over a week ago. I just closed my eyes and randomly picked a bottle.
I used Heavy Ammunition as my OD gauge. One spray of Heavy Ammunition is optimum. Two sprays is OK. Anything over is a clear OD.
So I started with two sprays of T5 and went to meet some friends at an upscale, downtown bar where various lobbyists, lawyers, escorts and other low-lifes hang out. Maybe this put me in a bad mood.
My friends seemed pretty upbeat and the waitress seemed very friendly. I seemed to get some glances from the females but I felt as if the vibe was way too serious. Somehow I didn’t feel comfortable with the whole scene, so I took off without finishing my drink.
From there I went to a bookstore. Waiting in line for some coffee, a lady tried to start a conversation but I wasn’t into it. That’s when I realized the serious vibe was coming from me and not other people.
I wandered around for a while, but I couldn’t shake the feeling. It was weird. The best I can explain it is as if my sense of humor got locked up some place where I couldn’t get to it. So I went home and gave up on the experiment until this past Friday.
I realize that the T5 experience could have had more to do with me than the pheromones, but I just didn’t feel like going back to it.
This time I decided to try T1. Two sprays got me feeling pretty good. So I upped the dosage to three sprays. I went to the supermarket and got a real good reaction from the cashier. We got into this aimless discussion that went from pears to cantaloupes to magazines to creepy customers in the space of about 2 minutes. She was still talking to me while ringing up the next customer and I had to politely pull myself away.
It was fun. So I went back home and added a fourth spray. Then I went to the same bar I had been at the previous week. Just to keep it semi-scientific.
I sat at the bar, right next to a hooker that went through all kinds of contortions trying to get me to notice her. Eventually she leaned right into me like I was her back rest.
I asked if she was alright and she turned beat red.
The bar was busy, but the barmaid kept taking time to talk to me. I can’t say she was actually turned on by me. But she seemed interested and clearly felt at ease.
She showed me some nasty animations that she’d downloaded on her cell phone: Fred Flinstone boning Wilma, Olive Oil giving Popeye a bj…
I still had to go to the bookstore, just to confirm the difference from T5. So I left after finishing my drink. The barmaid seemed genuinely disappointed and complained that I had just gotten there and we didn’t have time to talk.
She was too young and not my type, but I had this strange sentimental feeling that I’ve only experienced while breaking up with a girlfriend.
There weren’t many people at the bookstore so I wandered around for a bit, looking for someone to talk to. I spied a nice looking lady in the Buddhism/Eastern Philosophy section. I tried to start up a conversation. It didn’t go so well but I can’t blame the pheromones. I have difficulty relating to New-Agers.
Moving on to the fiction section I noticed a girl that looked a lot like the young Ingrid Bergman. (No offense, but I tend to refer to any woman young enough to be my daughter as a girl.) She was thumbing through Chuck Palahniuk’s new novel, Haunted, and I said something like, “Wow, I didn’t know girls read Chuck Palahniuk.”
It didn’t take much more than that to really get her rolling. It turns out that she knew more about the author than I did. She was an aspiring writer and had submitted material to Plahniuk’s online writer’s workshop.
I’ve got a weak spot for the artsy types, so this really had me hooked.
The conversation seemed to jump around a lot — from good books to bad jobs to weird religions — just like with the cashier.
While we talked a guy that I assumed was her boyfriend came over and she introduced us. He seemed pretty friendly, so I guess that proves there was no OD going on.
I let her finish talking about this psychology teacher that hit on her and tried to excuse myself.
“You’re not leaving already.” she said. Which are the exact words that the barmaid had used.
The boyfriend (?) seemed cool, but I was feeling weird. So I made up a story about how I promised to meet some friends for a movie.
Once again I had that weird feeling like I was breaking some deep emotional bond.
T1 is a fun product that I would surely buy, but I can’t think of it as a “ramped up” or “debugged” version of androstenone. There was no aura of mystery, no sexual suggestiveness, no hint of danger. Which is what I’ve learned to love about androstenone.
Maybe I’m not the right person for this experiment because I pretty much love androstenone the way it is. The only thing that needs debugging is the smell and I think the cover used in T1 and T5 tends to sour rather quickly.
