Anti-Attacker Pheros?

This might seem like a strange question, but if a person feels like they might be stalked or that somebody might be targeting them, is there any sort of phero to get you out of the situation? Maybe to make the person lose interest, or decide that you are not an easy target, or something?

I ask because I was followed halfway home tonight by a strange man. I was walking. He first approached me while I was still in the grocery store near my house. He invaded my space and made a creepy/joking comment to me. I politely brushed it off and walked quickly away to the opposite side of the store. Then as I was leaving the store later, I saw him watching me. When I had walked to the exit of the parking lot, he pulled up and asked me if I wanted a ride. I said no, and hurried in the opposite direction of home. He slowly kept pace with me in his car, and i became terrified. When some other cars started coming up behind him, he sped up a little, but then re-entered the parking lot right in front of me. I ran across the street, and went into a subdivision. I rang on doorbells until somebody let me in and called the police (I had left my phone at home). The police gave me a ride home.

I’m wondering if, back when he first made the creepy comment to me, I might have been able to pull out some sort of phero that would give out a “back off” message or “I’m invisible” or something.

As a side-note, I wasn’t wearing any pheros at all. There may have been a little residual Instant Shine or p102 from yesterday, but I highly doubt it.

Miss Dragon, sorry that happened to you. That must have been very frightening. Glad your OK.
Don’t think I’ve ever heard that asked, but it is an interesting thought. The only thing I could offer is possibly think the opposite way you would normally think about pheros- instead of thinking what can I wear to attract the opposite sex, what can I wear to repel them…but who really wants to go through life like that?
Now if you were very attractive and feminine, but were gay, and wanted to “chemically” fend off the boys, maybe wearing something overt like IJ or tuth would do the trick. But just something to fend off an obnoxious creep that would intimidate you like this guy, I don’t think that is what these products are designed for. Maybe try a product from that other company…I think it was called Instant Pepper Spray

I definitely wouldn’t try IJ to repel a guy! From what I’ve read, when a woman wears it, it signals “I’m horny and fertile!” And I’ve read that TUTH could be effective on a woman, as well.

I would fear the self-effects of a phero called “instant pepper spray”!

I’d guess that somebody who behaves like that is the sort of person who doesn’t pick up on subtle cues. Making yourself unattractive/threatening/invisible to him would most likely have a way bigger effect on everyone else.

Exactly. The normal products are designed to be attractive, so they probably wouldn’t be what you want. Except possibly a314 if you went with androtics stuff. That sends the vibe of a socially dominant (but not physically dominant) male. High alpha androsterone, in other words. Something high alpha androsterone is probably your best bet. Or maybe beta androsterone. I haven’t played with beta androsterone much. It’s supposed to be more ‘feminine and soft’ but it tends to be more energizing and less relaxing than alpha androsterone.

I’m not sure how straight androstEnone or androstAnone would do. Those tend to convey a physically dominant (possibly sexually aggressive) signature, but they can also start fights and guys will test other guys if they seem like competitors. I don’t know what it would do for women. It would make you look like less of a victim, certainly. But it would also make you appear more aggressive. The stuff stinks for some women in any significant amount, however, so it, especially, requires a cover scent if you go above about 1/20th of a mcg or so. Androstadienone in high doses may be effective, since that repels/depresses men in high doses (women like it and it’s found in many female perfumes for that very reason) and might make him more attuned to your rejection (increases attention on social stimuli). It’s good for women and helps reduce PMS. But it takes a while to work and your best defense is probably non-pheromonal anyways. Pheromones works best with time and some kind of relationship, which is the opposite of what you want.

Oh, oxytocin seems to be associated with increased suggestibility and personally it seems to decrease my recovery from workouts (decreased testosterone?) So maybe it would make someone take your ‘go away’ comment more seriously.

I hope that helps at least a little. There are a lot of unexplored molecules out there. Pheromones in female tears reduce male testosterone, for example. But there’s not a lot of demand for what you’re looking for so I don’t know if you’d find it in product form.

NOOOOO Do not use TUTH or Anone. When women use it men get more physically and sexually aggressive.

Remember you have a natural signature and any mone you use with it is not going to erase that natural signature. Androgens worn by a women do not get the exact same reaction as they do when worn by men. High arone can make you come off as a pushy bitch but that wont stop a predator if he has his mind set on it.

Oxytocin is not an airborne pheromone. It has to be absorbed through the mucus membranes in high doses. Not going to do anything for you unless you use it like mace and squirt him in the eye.

There are pheromones that communicate what your asking sort of (fear, dislike) but since this business is about attraction and not repelling your not going to find them here or in any other store of this type. Your best bet is when you know you will be walking alone carry some mace and a key jabber. Also learn some basic self defense moves. I know it is scary. I have had it happen to me more then once. Pheromones communicate and attract and they don’t discriminate. They wont target just attackers so if your wearing something negative its going to effect everyone including yourself and could also have a residual effect if you cant remove it all right away.

Fair advice on the enone, I suppose. Though I definitely have gotten clear respect hits from guys while wearing it or androstAnone. It may not be worth the risk of a bad reaction, though.

I realize that Oxytocin is heavy (nearly three times the size of steroidal mones) and some people think that it’s not light enough to fly. I assumed the same thing. But I’ve used it as a single molecule. I’ve talked to people who have used it. It absolutely, unequivocally has an effect. Have you tried it and not seen anything, or are you just going on theory here?

Diffusion rate often correlates with melting point and not just molecular weight. Oxy’s melting point is significantly lower than all mones I’m familiar with.

Melting point 192-194 C
50-56-6, oxytocin, CAS No 50-56-6 oxytocin

Also, some of the most aggressive people react to feelings of fear or dislike by becoming violent. If anything, the ideal change for anyone behaving like they’re stalking you is neutrality.

When I had to deal a lot with potentially violent people, my outcome was always to get them to calm down because they didn’t see any benefit in becoming violent, rather than to frighten them into behaving. I knew that adding fear to their anger and sense of entitlement was both likely to encourage them to become violent and likely to cause any violence to be more severe.

This site No Nonsense Self Defense - Reliable information for dangerous situations gives some very good advice on avoiding and handling dangerous situations.

For what it’s worth, I’ve talked to one female friend who used beta androstAnol (not beta androstEnol) to prevent fights with her husband and talk him down when he was angry.

Its not just the weight or diffusion rate that’s an issue. There are many factors that scientifically work against Oxytocin working as a airborne pheromone.

Once oxytocin leaves the body it only has a 3 minute life before it begins to decompose or convert. It has to be refrigerated. It has to enter through the mucus membranes which is how it works during sex. By absorption, not by inhaling or pheromonally. During breast feeding it is ingested.

I have tested it many time myself as well as had other test it as a single molecule. JVKohl has also spoken about it many times. It just doesn’t work in a commercial spray type product. Its to volatile. The only way they have been able to get around these obstacles scientifically is to suspend it in a nasal spray and even then it takes a high dose because the molecule changes so quickly.

Now even if it worked pheromonally it creates a feeling of intimacy, affection and bonding. That’s not going to ward off an attacker

To be clear Miss Dragon, I was joking about the Instant Pepper Spray..please do not try and wear pepper spray..I was suggesting carrying a bottle of pepper spray when you are out alone. And be aware of your surroundings, which I am sure you are.

Yeah, and I dont think I was advising you to wear the Tuth and A314 as much as I was saying use pheros to signal positives, to signal what you want to happen as opposed to what you dont want to happen.

Sometimes late at nite my posts are not as clear as they should be…sorry.

A couple of empty 30ml bottles in a sock or even a stocking would make a pretty effective anti-personnel weapon.

Ha! Comedy!

No worries! I knew you were joking about the pepper spray! I wish a314 wasn’t quite so adherent, otherwise I might actually try it for a situation like that! Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be so easy to remove the residuals.

Good, good.
Yes A314 lasts a good long time. I grabbed a sweater today that I haven’t worn for a week. I swear I could I could smell a314 on it!
I really like A314, one of my favorites.
I know that some of the ladies here actually have tried it, but I wouldn’t advise it. One woman here tried her her husbands A314 and had a neg reaction. Better leave that for us men.

There is a pepper spray product with 5.3 million SHU heat units, legal in many states. There are ample videos on YouTube of law enforcement training, where officers are required to take a straight dose of this to the face. Just type “5.3 million shu” into YouTube search. It’s probably the most effective non-lethal weapon, quite capable of reducing strong men to tears. While some women do carry firearms, training videos demonstrate that a gun takes about 20 ft. of reaction distance for efficacy, more if in a closed purse. That 20 ft. is for a trained officer with a sidearm, not a civilian.

I gave this post some further thought in light of my having used as much as 60 mcg P75. I don’t know how a man would respond to this worn by a girl. However, when I wear it, 30 is sufficient to repel all but true sociopaths…who seem paradoxically attracted. Androtics does sell this at a very high micro content in 5 mL. But, as someone who’s confronted situations where the law allowed deadly force for self defense, a repellent pheromone might tend to backfire. 75 does effectively control potential male aggression brought on by -eNone (see a thread from Evolver on this), and I use it for that purpose. Provoking volatility with mones might not be the best idea. But pepper has saved my a** in situations where a pistol would have offered little value.

I’m so sorry this happened to you! I’m glad you’re safe. This issue has been in the back of my mind but I think it’s time to give it some serious thought.

I have some thoughts on this - mostly obstacles but I am very curious about this concept.

Firstly, those of you talking about pepper spray please be careful and do -not- use an aerosol - you will blow it back right into your own eyeballs, I know it happens - I’ve done it with non-pepper spray cans. Without any sort of endorsement, this is something that I was recommended to by a friend in law enforcement: PepperBlaster II

Its made by Kimber, who makes firearms - so they have some experience.

Secondly, the concept of a pheromone to protect you from attackers seems very savvy on the surface. However, consider that what may make them not want to attack you may make some even more enraged. You just dont know the backstory. Some attackers may attack as a retaliation for what they feel is an injustice done to them by authority. Appear more of an authority and well - there you go. The other idea is to seem intimidating, but then you may have issues with eye witnesses saying that you were the attacker yourself.

Thirdly, I wouldn’t be opposed to some people doing some testing like this but only in safe, controlled, and virtual situations. I’d like to hear all of your theories on it.

Stay safe!

Wow, that pepper blaster is pretty cool! I’ll look into that!
