Women in LTRs are complimented that you care about them and are interested enough in them to spice up your relationship with them. They always wonder about that… if you still care, if you still want them. Pheros would be proof that you do.
Can you imagine in divorce court… “Yes, judge. My husband… tsk, tsk. He bought pheromones to seduce me, to make it like it was when we first met. When we first fell in love. When we first… touched… each other… oooohhhh… that bad, bad man”
Not gonna happen, guys. Sorry. Women want to be wanted, they love to be loved.
Women themselves are masters of seduction. They use many, many tools themselves, so they don’t seem to mind too much. Mostly you’d have to deal with other guy friends finding out… in which case they either think you’re silly, or they want to try the stuff for themselves.
When I first heard of human pheromones, it was one of the dumbest notions to me, ever. That changed over time, of course…
The only truly difficult thing I’ve found w/pheromones is telling people that they have a reality beyond the sexual. That’s not the easiest thing. I think they tend to think you’re shy, and are trying to smooth over the fact that you have (what they think of as) a giant collection of new-fangled sex toys with weird names.
The problem I could imagine would be someone finding something completely innocent like A314 at work. They might think it’s inappropriate to have what the mass populace things of as a sex tool in a professional environment. (that’s why we don’t use the word “pheromone” on the product)
Even things like Instant Honesty are seen through some sort of weird sex filter as soon as the word “pheromone” is mentioned. I have no idea what people are truly thinking inside when they think IH is related to sex somehow. As some sort of weird bondage tool?!
To me, the name “Honesty” couldn’t be more removed from the purely sexual realm. Of course, honesty does build great relationships, and relationships often lead to sexual expression. (I’m talking purely about the name of the product here, which is rather asexual to me; the underlying molecule is, of course, useful to accentuate certain sexual mixes)
