Research shows that during puberty. Their lifetime peak at the age of 25 years old, and steadily decrease with age. Some Clinical Studies indicate that generally on average, testosterone levels drops as much as 2 % on yearly basis after the age of 30 years old. At the age of 60 years old the expected testosterone production is only 45-50%. A more prominent decline was observed in individuals who are heavy smokers and alcoholic.

Glad to hear the good news, Flaming!! Just maintain it from time to time…it seems that you’ve found the “fountain of youth”!! Wish I could go and thank the goats who found the herbs!!
Given just how exposed we all are to xenoestrogens (particularly bisphenol-A) it’s very likely the trend of ever decreasing testosterone levels will continue indefinitely. I’m beginning to think that anti-estrogens typically used by bodybuilders are now required to counter act the pollution and be as healthy as a person a generation or two ago. **

I’ve used L Arginine. L Arginine is what they use at hospitals to test and see if your pituitary gland is functioning properly and can produce human growth hormone. I read one medical study where one person - either 18 or 19 (generally the upper age limit for women to stop bone growth) she did a MASSIVE overdose on arginine for 2 weeks. Ended up at the hospital for some major intestinal problems - but then ended up growing a little over an inch the next month. Given the internal bleeding I don’t think it was worth it.
I had this secret plan to grow over 7 foot tall so I could just drop a basketball into the basket easily and make outrageous amounts of cash Well no, not really but I did look into becoming taller. A correct amount of Arginine and anti-estrogen would do the trick, but I found out soon after my growth plates had already fused so I couldn’t do it. Arginine for increased human growth hormone and anti-estrogen to decrease estrogen levels. People’s bones grow larger because of cartilage like growth plates. Estrogen is a BIG reason why growth plates fuse and you stop growing. This is why women are usually not as tall as men - higher estrogen levels mean growth plates fuse earlier. This is always why it is common to hear taller women complain about being an ugly duckling (delayed puberty.) Puberty hit later, so it was later that her body was flooded with estrogen, which means her body had a longer time to grow before her growth plates became fused.
Bisphenol-A is one of the most common xeno estrogens people are exposed to. Very frequently used in packaging - a great many plastic bottles and a sealant for canned goods. For men, testosterone levels in the body aren’t regulated directly, but instead by the level of estrogen (very important to know). While there are a few places estrogen is produced, for men most estrogen comes from converted testosterone, a process which is called aromatization. This is why you hear all the horror stories about people irresponsibly taking steroids. Inject testosterone and then have to worry about breast growth doesn’t make sense unless you know about the testosterone to estrogen conversion. Yes, they are injecting a massive amount of testosterone, BUT a portion of that will convert to estrogen, meaning you will also have a MUCH higher level of estrogen in your body. Now of course there are better forms of steroids that are injected that don’t allow for nearly as much conversion as previous forms. I still don’t think it is worth the risk though.
There are things to take for those involved in body building that inhibit the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. Thus the estrogen level falls and the brain says to make more testosterone (since a portion of it will be converted to estrogen) to make sure estrogen levels are at the correct level.
Now given all the xenoestrogens we are exposed to, the exact opposite happens. These foreign sources of estrogen get inside of us, and the body says the estrogen levels are too high. So the brain says to lower the natural production of testosterone. This would work if the high levels of estrogen were from our testosterone, but since it’s from outside sources the estrogen levels stay high and the natural testosterone production is reduced.
This is where my comment about using body building anti estrogens just to stay normal and healthy comes into play.
Thank You Scaro very nice explanation reps to you…!
Well i just noticed a description on the side of my L-Arginine bottle.
It reads…Arginine is an amino acid that in addition to its role in protein synthesis is a precursor of nitric oxide and creatine, and is also involved in the urea cycle…ha what was all that about?
No I haven’t seen anything that specifically fights against xenoestrogens. For ethical reasons there are very few actual studies on humans. Quite a bit on animals though, DDT for example (and yes DDT is a xenoestrogen) is well documented with sterility and developmental problems in a number of animals. You may think DDT is a thing of the past, but it isn’t banned in a great deal of the world (and America is a leading manufacturer of it) and given just how much of our food now comes overseas…
As for a specific brand or product I really couldn’t say. Seems a great deal like pheromones, sure there are good brands out there, but so much crap that it is hard to know which are the real deal. I keep hoping to find a body builder that has actual experience with aromatase inhibitors to know which are good.
Well, IMHO, herbs can be considered as supplements like any other known supplements. People from the past generations have been taking many kinds of herbs on regular basis. From my observations on the Malay ethnic living on the East Coast of Malaysia, I found that the older generation like 70 or 80 years old are still strong, working in paddy fields and are free from chronic diseases. But since the herbs today mostly come in capsules or tablets, taking it regularly on small doses won’t be a big problem, but if you like, you can take it on an interval basis. On the duration of effects, unlike instant effect that you get from pills like Viagra, natural herbs have steady and constant effects and take a lil bit longer time to stimulate your brain and body to produce necessary hormones to the maximum and tend to stay there for a longer period of time. I would suggest that you should take herbs supplements for at least 3 to 6 months for the best results! With this, I hope I have answered your question.
Gee…you made it sound like I’m some kind of “expert” or what! :o
Actually, I learned more from those intelligent people on this forum than they from me! Anyway, I hope I have answered your querry with my humble reply above.
