Best Cover Frag. for Pheros + Creed's Bois du Portugal

So I’ve been shopping at Androtics for somewhere close to EIGHT YEARS (edit: I think it’s actually been longer) now. I will always love the products here and always look to what seems to me like a grand horizon it continuously walks upon. But I’ll spare you my nerding out and extreme company loyalty and get to the point.

I’ve used a lot of colognes before, but I actually got into colognes AFTER pheros. Last weekend I tested an unbelievable amount of colognes, and the ones that I liked so much that I am going to actually buy are Creed Bois du Portugal Creed Green Irish Tweed., and possibly Creed Aventus. I’m well aware these scents are loved by many people, so I know I’m not alone.

**My primary question is does anyone know which cover scent would go best with Bois du Portugal? Here is Creed’s description of what notes it hits:

Top Notes: Bergamot
Middle Notes: Lavender
Base Notes: Cedar, sandalwood from Mysore, vetiver and ambergris
Comparatives: Baie de Genievre, Epicea, Spice and Wood**

I have a feeling the Neroli would work best for Green Irish Tweed, but to be honest I’ve only tried Neroli and Akuto (on its own I think I tend to prefer Akuto a lot better than the Neroli scent. But like I said, I haven’t tried any others and am open to suggestions.

--------->[Also, does anyone think A314 and Bois du Portugal would blend well? What about Green Irish Tweed? Or Aventus?] Now that I think of it, this question is about as important as the last.<---------

Thanks you! I’ll be making a massive order (my go-to’s in addition to a lot of putatives and such) either today or tomorrow at the very latest so I need your help.

I don’t know about Bois du Portugal but Ammo’s FF21 scent is surprisingly like Green Irish Tweed as it is.

Neroli at 6% settles pretty light after a bit and can coexist with many good colognes.

Can’t help you with Akuto but I have found it sits very well with some of the less astringent colognes.

The lavender comes out really strong in the BDP, it reminds me of my grandmother. Like mobo said, the FF21 is pretty much the GIT smell. The Aventus would pair well with the neroli.

I like pairing SMW or Imperial Millesime with the akuto or neroli.

Thanks to those who have already replied!

Good to know.

Astringent colognes? You mean some of them actually shrink or constrict body tissues? Comparable to witch hazel? I’ll look it up perhaps.

Ha. Oh the associations some people have… Smells the most “masculine” of any of their other scents I’ve smelled by far.

I’m also a fan of Tabarome Millesime… like fine tobacco and whiskey bottled in the best way humanly possible… And I’d like to try the Original Santal.

Just to mention, AMMO is literally the ONLY Androtics product I’ve ever kinda disliked and gotten poor results from. :frowning:

I picked up a bottle of the Tabarome Millesime, I really enjoy its green tea scent. I like to pair it with the a314.

What does everyone think would mix best with A314? (also, what goes well Akuto)

I’m admittedly kind of on the Creed bandwagon (just because some of them seem of almost incomparable quality to many other non-phero colognes I’ve tried) but any suggestions for the best cologne to go with A314 would be appreciated.

EDIT: Ha, I asked just as you replied. But I’d love to hear what more people have to say. And if I remember correctly, A314 has some Akuto in it.

I went with the Aventus. Too irresistible. I LOVE Bois du Portugal as well, but I think it’s a little too heavy and woodsy to be adaptable enough to wear in just about any situation, which I’d like to be able to do. I’m going with neroli for the scent, definitely. It will go well with the pineapple top note in Aventus.

I’ve run out of A314, but should have more tomorrow; I’ll let you all know if they mix well!

(I like the Androtics cover scents but I wish there were no charge to get them unscented, especially the ta-s and putatives…)

Anyone ever try Armani code and akuto? I wonder if they would mix. I love akuto tho

Yes - the response has always been awesome. They complement each other so well.

Why would you cover up Akuto? I get as many compliments on Akuto if not more as I do on fierce an Armani code.

A not untypical response to Akuto/Code - “What are you wearing - It smells so good and is making me so horny - can we wait a while before going out!”

Nuff’ said!

I like the smell of both, but most of my mones are akuto and I don’t want to just smell like that all the time, want t mix it up some.

I wouldn’t necessarily cover it, but pair it. I like a little contrast in fragrance sometimes.

I bought large bottle of Aventus and paired it with A314 and some neroli-scented mones. The results were beyond outstanding, from an internal and external locus. People loved it and I felt GREAT. I went to a few parties and did various things around New York while visiting a girlfriend (with whom I had more sex with than I can recall within the few day long timespan I had. During these few days, not only was that girl turned on, she also began talking about and urging discussion about marriage and children with extreme frequency and a light and adventurous, but simultaneously serious tone, in addition to being -constantly- turned on. Along with her, girls were asking me out for the night out of NOWHERE, one particularly almost wouldn’t let me go back inside the apartment I was staying in. All that, and her friends, whom had previously had issues with me, thinking I was somehow a negative force for the girl I was seeing, got along with me hilariously well and we became quick friends. At a party that weekend, I was literally the star. Everyone wanted me to choose what music to play and everyone (a wide variety of people from various different social scenes) apparently loved me and said things like, “he was the life of the party” and other such ridiculously cliche lines I’d previously considered extinct. And naw, guys-- I’m not exaggerating.

I believe its success to be dependent on a few things. Those testing such a combination or similar ones should be just a bit careful… wearing anything that smells “rich” or “royal” paired with A314 can be a slight overload and come off as imposing. TOO-cool-for-school, truly, as many have already pointed out regarding use of A314.

But Aventus blends BEAUTIFULLY with Neroli, and works far better than I expected with A314.

Everything I wore that weekend: 2 drops of A314 a day (and occasionally another at night) 2-5 sprays of Aventus throughout the day, the TINIEST POSSIBLE fingertip-touch of Raw Power near my underarms and sometimes an inch below my belly button, about two sprays of 2x IS a day, and finally, some IH and Oxytocin for intimate alone-time spent with my lady friend. I’m going to visit again soon, this time for an entire week, and want to try a handful of putatives along with the aforementioned 'mones.

**Does anyone use or know of any good Creed mixtures to use in conjunction with mones? I was considering blending some Millesime Imperial, Himalaya, or Tabarome Millesime with the Aventus to be used in conjunction with my personal pheromone collage. Any other ideas?
