I’ve kept up with the A314 thing. I’m trying to push myself out of comfort zones with women, and the nudge in that direction seems to make 10x the difference. I think I’m at the point in my evolution where the results are exponential to the effort put in. Honestly, that means I’m a bit behind the curve, but that’s ok. I’ve noticed a lot of doe eyes at work recently. Maybe I’m just observing what I want to observe, but other body language seems to line up with everything I observe. There seems to be some sexual tension with a few women that I work with. It is a slight and not terribly noticeable at times, but I will probably know on Friday as I have a meeting with one of the women.
Or, perhaps, I’m just more observant now. Today I was jogging down the street and a girl, who couldn’t have been more than 14, passed me from the other way. Her body language changed into a “hey look at me” posture when I got closer. Obviously I kept jogging, but I don’t think I would have even noticed that a month ago. I’ve been told that women are ingrained with body language skills from an early age and that is probably true. I wonder if men never had that or if they have it and lose it because it isn’t as important in the male adolescent world.
Today: 3 drops A314. I had a presentation and everything changed last minute. It turns out I was going in front of an entire different group of people and I had to change gears last second. I personally don’t think I did well, but I was told that I did a great job. Who knows. I think I was better than others, from what I’ve heard, but that isn’t good enough for me. Of all things in life, comparing yourself to others for comparison’s sake is dumb. My best is what matters, not how others have done things. I’ll move on and keep making good impressions.
I’ve taken the time to read a few more threads around here and sticking to A314 seems like I’m missing out on a lot. In the spirit of that, this past weekend I walked around with some Ammo. Man, I forgot that I love this stuff. I didn’t have a huge number of interactions, but I did go to the bank. There are two cute tellers there, one is married (I think), and the other is single from what I can tell. I usually wear shine around them, as that tends to be my weekend favorite. This time I wore some Ammo and had a little more conversation than what is usual. She’s a cool girl. Who knows. She’s honestly not my type but I’ll continue going there and having good conversations.
