Twice now, I have seen this happen. I’m sitting next to someone. I’m wearing pheromones. And the woman next to the guy/gal sitting next to me starts hitting on the guy/gal next to me because of MY pheromones!
Directly between me and the responding person is the person who is benefitting from my signature, but not wearing pheromones.
The first time this happened, my distractant and I were sitting at a bar and next to her was a fairly good looking woman, obviously single and drunk. Within 30 seconds, this woman is hitting on the distractant. I’d have never known it was me, except that when I left to hit the bathroom, this drunk woman stopped being interested in the distractant. When I came back, the interest returned.
The second time it happened was today. I was standing in line at the post office. Our post office is way too small and woefully understaffed, with workers who think they’re snails. There was a line out the door, and they had four people working.
Anyway, back on topic, I was standing behind this woman who must have been in her mid fifties. She wasn’t unattractive, but she certainly wasn’t going to turn the average guy’s head either. In front of her was a guy about her age, who was a professional painter who had just gotten off work and was dressed in dirty/ratty clothes. No spring chicken, he looked as if he’d lived hard, and wasn’t much to look at either. Not ugly… just had a strange vibe.
So I’m standing there waiting, and this guy turns to her after ignoring her for several minutes and says, “You can go ahead of me in line, if you like.” But she declined, and he turned around again. Then a minute later, he turns around and repeats the performance, exactly. So does she. He attempts small talk, and she shuts down his attempt. Then she turns to me and starts talking as if I asked her the question!
I was polite and friendly, didn’t have much to say. So she stopped talking and turned around.
And again, this wierd vibe painter guy asks her if she’d like to skip ahead. Again she tells him no. Again she turns to me and starts talking about how the way they’re handling the lines are odd, but fair. Again I smile, tell her I agree, and stop talking.
Then the painter guy turns around and starts talking to her as if they’re in the middle of a conversation. She looks at him as if he’s nuts, turns around, and starts talking to me about our Air Force! Wha?
Today, I had on an OD of Seduction Mix 2. Interesting results with these two strangers.
The point is… if Person A is between you and person B, person B may think they are responding to the signature of Person A instead of the signature of you.
