Mx138 and mx 140 are in the shop right now and are the sunshine mixes. P78, shine, and mx335(special treatment always makes a girl feel better) only other thing I can think of off the top of my head is p86 or the nols.
Very thoughtful of you to want to help her. Your question reminded me of an older thread, so here it is:
One thought I have is that for me, it seems like wearing pheros when I’m sick doesn’t work very well - they kind of magnify whatever’s going on, you know? But YOU could certainly wear them around her to great effect!
ElectraComplex: Thank you so much for your suggestions sweetie!!! She hates wigs, she got one though! She says it’s annoying to wear since it’s scratchy and stuff. So she prefers wearing a hat or a nice scarf. But geeze thank you for these sites the wigs are so beautiful. I should suggest her to look at them!
And phero-wise, I didn’t think about mx138!!
Carrie: OMG thank you for pointing out that thread!! It answered my question. True, I think I’ll get her flowers or something nice. And I’ll wear some happy, cheery phero!
You could get her a teddy bear and spray him with some sunshine or something if you wear something and she reacts to it well. Yeah I’m not fond of wigs either but They’ve come in handy a few times I think the trick is to wear the wig over a terry headwrap or a good wig cap.. That and carry a pencil or something like that for scritchies like when you have a cast.
Its really no problem I’ve been on chemical therapy before for other things and had most of my hair go byebye although my favorite wigging reason was my pink hair when I had it refused to dye it for work so got a nice wig instead.
Gran had cancer and my mom may have it now but she needs to go back to the doctor and make them do a biopsy for us to really know anything. So my deepest sympathies to your friend, her family and yourself.
On the upshot if she wanted to loose a few pounds its a lovely diet. (always go for the silver lining)
Hmm, kombucha might be helpful if she starts feeling too tired they have it at whole foods.
That and the lollipops and popsicles they make for pregnant women may help with the nausea from chemo.
Thank you for those excellent suggestions EC! I’m definately going to try the teddy bear with is! That sounds fab!!
Oh my god, I’m so sorry to hear that…wow pink hair?
I really hope your mom will be a-ok I’ll keep my fingers crossed for her.
lol, I don’t know if she did that but she has lost weight dramatically. She sent me a picture of herself and I freaked out…I told her that she needs fries!! Thank you for your other suggestions as well, I’m going to take a look at them!
Most women that get breast cancer have a conflict or anger problem withanother female in their life, it seem their body is looking to take that aggression out on them, butcannot because that person either is not there any longer, orthey’re ina position where they can’t. Some o the best therpy to let go your hurts from your past. bitterness and resentment is very taxing on the body.
I guess my gf isn’t part of the majority then. She is unbelievably patient, and a kind hearted soul. She’s been taking the whole process so well with a smile, kind of insane. I think it didn’t struck her yet…
