What the hell is the stuff inside a Butterfinger candy bar? I was just eating one, and happened to notice it was extremely delicious.

It’s sugar, peanuts and a lot of chemicals cooked to a certain temp to reach brittle hard candy stage. Though don’t ask me how the heck it turns out so flaky.
It’s candied peanut butter, now I want one. 480 calories is an hour of walking. Decisions, decisions.
Shit I want one too! Does not fit in the diet plan but maybe if I burn the calories I won’t feel so bad. Ummm let’s see how to burn them…

AH HAH, figured out what to do. A Chick O Stick is really just the inside of a butterfinger. They’re “only” 130 calories per ounce and about 3 candies per ounce. Best part they only cost 15 cents yes CENTS apiece! I got 2 
butterfinger craving solved in under a hundred calories for 30 cents.

Not sure how regional Atkinson is but Chick O Sticks and Peanut Butter Bars are pretty common around the southern US. They come in different sizes but are usually small indivdually wrapped second tier candies along with the things like Sweet Tarts, Licorice sticks, Mary Janes, Cow Tails, and Tootsie Rolls. Check places like independent convenience stores esp. ones that have a lot of kid traffic.
Annnd we clearly have different distributors here. 
In fact, I haven’t even see a butterfinger in a while. I forgot about them until I saw this thread.
I’ve never heard of Cow Tails, and Mary Jane is either a hot girl, or a some dank bud 
I do know more than a few girls over here enjoy licorice sticks however…or tootsie rolls, depending..
Yeah I grew up New York Style so I know about things like Hostess, Fried Mars Bars and Twinkies, as well as Mary Jane and Cow Tails cause now I live in Memphis Area
Oh and Philly has its own everything - CHEESESTEAKS - u have NEVER had a CHEESESTEAK unless you have been to Philly… HOAGIES with proisutto, mortadella, supresata and sharp provolone. Add roasted long hots and some broccoli rabe. HEAVEN.
