edit: Why is this journal so lame? ![]()
Currently, I’ve started trying out Spaceland and P79, and have TAF and MX203 being shipped soon.
I’m really pressed on time, so I’ll do one quick entry. Outside of encountering and noting reactions from random strangers, I’ve also been using a small group of neighbors as a pseudo-control group. Almost nightly the same group has a get-together late at night and smokes hookah in one of the rooms, and decided to drop by last night. I had on 3 Sprays of Spaceland, as well as 2 sprays of P79.
Person A: Male, Half Egyptian, half Caucasion. Usually a relaxed and chill guy, but was noticeably more silly and extroverted during the first hour I was around him. Started off watching highlights from the Detroit/Orlando game, and within 5 minute of sitting next to him, took out his cards and did magic tricks in a hilarity sort of way for the next 20 minutes. Can be silly at rare moments, but I guess could be possible the Spaceland sort of triggered the silly mood he already had rooting in him before I even stepped in.
Person B: Caucasion, female, usually very quiet and possibly a B blood type, mentally strong but no unusual differences in behavior. The fact that she was under the weather could have overshadowed, any pheromone driven behavior.
Person C: Pakistani, female, quite the alpha female and very strong willed. Acting quite childish (but does once in a while any way) throughout the first hour and a half (I was there for 3 hours), and then later decided to go knock out early. Also commented that I smell nice. Most likely due to the fact that my p79 is neroli fragranced, in combination with the Polo Black Cologne I was wearing. She did stumble around the chairs when playing poker and messing around, which was kind of odd because she’s quite athletic and not clumsy at all.
Person D: Probably the biggest hit of all. Pakistani female, but trust me people tell her she acts more white than majority of white people. But anyways, she’s a really close friend and is quite the intellectual. An Alpha female, but not obviously so. Anyways, she was LOUD as ANYTHING. Everyone was looking at each other with a ‘whats wrong with her’ amusement type of look, whenever she became insanely hyper. But it was only 3 sprays of Spaceland, unless the p79 amplified it a lot more than I thought it would?
I actually have to get some stuff done, so I’ll stop here for now. Sorry for the lack of time, and its led to a fairly poor and non-thorough report. But anyways, there were 2 other people, but they weren’t as sensitive to the phero’s, so I will skip their reactions. Messing around with spaceland really isn’t that fun, plus it stinks. I’m just waiting for the TAF and the MX203 to come in so I can really start my testing.
Hey tmoz, reps for a good start to your journal. I’m looking forward to your scientific approach!
edit: lol
Sprayed on 2 sprays p79 mixed with 3 sprays IFM tonight, targets were the same as the other night, and I’ve really gotta say that IFM is DEFINITELY one of my favorite instant products.
Whether you want to make a good impression on a relative, or a potential target you dream to lure into your sheets for the night, you can NEVER go wrong with making a woman feel as comfortable as possible around you.
Nice thread. Reps for it! I agree with your sentiment exactly, reading through the posts I have found the most interesting thing is definitely understanding the science behind the pheromones; approaching Pheromone research with a more methodical approach with a view to better understanding how different people can develop entirely different responses with the same or similar products would definitely be a good idea and very beneficial - imagine if it could lead to the experienced Pheromone users being able to accurately tailor advice to newbies and suggest products that will definitely compliment them, certainly warrants further investigation ![]()
Any will look forward to reading your results and have given respect points for your work so far. Am also very glad to hear that as a medical Student you are taking Pheromones seriously, there still seems to be a real stigma associated with Pheromones from the vast majority of the medical / scientific community.
Quick amendment - Note on the first paragraph - Don’t mean to say that current advice is in anyway inaccurate or poor, so far I have found the community to be an enormous wealth of useful advice and tips - just mean that it would be interesting to see if profiling could predict pheromone products that would work better for different groups - for example InstantOpenness could work better for the Irish while InstantHonnesty might be better suited for the English. (I used these examples as I am part Irish / English - no racial offense intended)
Hey Tmoz, nice to see a new journal. I didn’t really think I’d be starting a journal myself, but I find that having one keeps me trying new things and combos. Keeps me going, so to speak.
Anyway, keep it up and let us know how it goes.
Thanks for the reps!
Whole heartedly agree on profiling, and so far there seems to be quite a bit of information on this forum itself about, for example, Asian profiling in regards to what works and what doesn’t work as well with Asians. But again, everything is always taken with a grain of salt, as there’s always bound to be a few green apples in a pile of red apples. But again, there’s so many different factors into what kind of response you get on various groups/people (due to the pheromones) outside of race, but it will be invaluable to figure out what actually raises the probability of instigating certain responses and actions from certain ethnicities/personalities, based upon the ethnicity and personality of the pheromone wearer him or herself. I don’t know if that made any sense, or maybe I’m just rambling the exact random thoughts going through my brain as I type.
For example, I due agree to a certain degree about social interaction when it comes to congruence, but I believe in a lack of congruence when it comes to
profiling.
For example, why is it that the only time you may see an Asian with a blond, is when the blond is and HB9+? Obviously its not always the case, but from what I noticed and maybe others, its the exact case a good number of the time. Or how about a Japanese woman going with a Caucasian man? I think its the lack of congruence that initiates the scenario.
For example. Let’s say mx105 is a great way to attract an Asian, whereas mx203 is a great way to attract a Caucasian. I’d like to believe that it works more effectively if the wearer of given pheromones is not the same ethnicity of the target.
Back to the HB9 Caucasian woman for example. A white male wearing some MX203 may not attract the HB9 blond as well as lets say some Chinese male wearing the same product and with roughly the same personality.
Why? Because just like with natural pheromones, if a Chinese male is vastly different from the norm in terms of characteristics and personality and natural or even synthetic pheromone aura than the average Chinese male, it makes that given person a whole lot more attractive in the eyes of that HB9 than the white male who gives off the same vibe (which is roughly congruent with the average Caucasian male’s usual vibe anyway).
Let’s take me for example. There’s certain characteristics and personality traits I look for in a woman, which I usually see more-so in the average Indian woman (since I’m originally from India as well), but I find it way more appealing if I see those same characteristics in a Caucasian or Hispanic woman, even more-so than the same characteristics in a parallel duplicate looks and personality wise of an Indian female.
It’s just human nature, we go after perfection in terms of irregularity, what makes something so unique is what makes something so perfect in one’s eyes.
I’m not even going to bother re-reading anything I just typed regardless of how much it doesn’t make sense nor for the sake of grammar for emphasis and clarity, because it defeats the whole purpose of random thoughts and a journal. So if whatever I just typed didn’t make sense or you strongly disagree with, I apologize as they’re just random thoughts and my opinion spilled out on the spot. ![]()
Side note 1: I was on the phone with SteveO while going through Anatomy notes, and from what I remember, I was offered naked pictures of April along with my order. Since I’ve already been abusing this word in the last few posts, I’d like to add that his offer of April’s anatomy was congruent with the notes I was already reading on. durrrrrrrr
Word of the day: Congruent!
P.S. No I’m not drunk. I put on 5 sprays of Spaceland.
Random thought: I really wonder what the main difference between Instant Female Magic for men and IFM for women is. It’s been reported by users that IFM for women is less depressing on men, while still staying true to its purpose of comforting woman. If that’s the case, I wonder how it would be to OD on it.
Added to checklist of things to do: Spray on 12x IFM women’s edition and see what happens.
Got some spare to-go bottles and a pipette, going to start compositing my mixes rather than just layering on sprays which has never felt right in the first place.
I can’t specify what the exact differences are, but basically Women’s IFM is unbuffered, whereas Men’s IFM is buffered with TAA (I think, perhaps others?)
Have been really tight on time; but I’ll just add a few notes and thoroughly explain my experiences later on.
Random thought: When wearing MX203, make SURE you wear it on the back of your hand. Sure it works wonders on your typical Caucasian woman, but its turned off quite a few black women. Spray on hand, then put your hand in your pocket depending on what type of females you’re around. I’ve got a whole bottle of this stuff so I really want to figure out what exactly (the heavy P93?) causes non-caucasians to give a ghosting like irritation effect. Something in their blood? In their genetic makeup? I WILL find out soon enough.
Another random thought: Compositing mixes works SO much better for me than the layering method. I can’t stress this enough. I even composited with my MX’s (which you really shouldn’t do since they’re already a mix) and saw successful hits.
Last thought: P74/TAL is a WONDERFUL thing. Simply, wonderful.
Please do come back and elaborate. As far as repulsion, some factors might be biological, but my belief is that ‘hits’ are a result of cultural factors, more than biological factors (in the sense that we’re all equipped with the same biological olfactory system but our reactions to various stimuli are determined by culture.)
I’d love to agree with you, but I even saw a hit with a very urban, inner-city ghetto born and raised Caucasian blond. Then again, I haven’t properly tested around the opposite spectrum of the typical African American cultured woman.. finding these Caucasian-by-culture blacks is quite a deal harder since they’re a lot more scarce (in my area + time schedule a least). And when I say Caucasian-by-culture, I don’t just mean ‘acting white and preppy’, I mean full blown raised/adopted by white parents and there being no doubt that she follows the norm of Caucasian society to the T. There can be no integration or overlapping with her own culture at all. (I was really lucky to find that ghetto blond)
Another reason why I don’t believe our natural sensations in result to being exposed to certain stimuli is based off culture is because in this day and age, there’s a larger gray area between what is Caucasian culture and what is African American culture. Sure there’s still a distinct difference, but every day that passes by its become more integrated and universally accepted as ‘American culture.’ But then again, there’s just too many factors in play. I’m just one person, with a numbered amount of experiences that in no way can serve as the proper trial for why I believe its more biological.
Another small example is how MX203 works on East Indians. Reactions from someone fresh off the boat and just recently thrown into American society held NO difference to some of the Indians here that epitomize American culture. Then again, I’m just scratching the surface and just can’t conclude at this given time whether it really is biological or cultural, even though I also initially believed cultural since it made a lot more sense in my mind.
My theory’s been that the initial sensations and urges are in result of biological factors, but how you act upon them is due to social proofing and cultural upbringing. It’s a lot easier to see effects of pheromones comparing Caucasians to Asians, let’s say. Because the differences of reactions are factored heavily on cultural upbringing. But in the case of African Americans and Caucasians, it’s a lot harder to fully put your foot down and say ‘MX203 illicits this type of behavior because of this cultural aspect’. Because in my opinion, something in MX203 just puts off African American’s biologically. From my experiences at least, so far.
Reps for your post.
From my experiences (I’ll try to thoroughly explain details of these whenever I’ve got a lot of time on my hands), a P74 + TAL based phero (with customizations of TAA or whatever else) has by far been the best way to replicate family type social rapport. Play around with this in high amounts and see for yourself. Also, my own personal EST replacement mix is actually based off heavy P74 and TAL; I posted the following in a different thread about wanting EST.
Lucky you. ![]()
Definitely more scarce simply due to history and prejudice, but also due to increasing cultural overlaps.
Again, cultural overlaps as you said. Yes, there is a larger grey area now, but that’s due to mixing of culture. Greater media distribution/access to media allows for this. Another factor is that we now recognize that even within ethnicities, there can be significant deviations culture, (say from Korea/China/Japan to Phillipines/Thailand/Burma). That’s not even taking into consideration the various sub-cultures within each culture. So now, it’s not so much an issue of Caucasian/Asian/African-American/Latin culture, but more so Korean-American, Korean-Korean, or American-American. And say, within the Korean-American cultures, there are (for lack of better terms) athletic cultures, social cultures, academic cultures which share similarities, as well as differences, with other athletic/social/academic cultures from other ethnic backgrounds.
I haven’t seen Koreans fresh off the boat and interacted with them, but I did go to Korea and interacted with ‘authentic’ Koreans. My observations were different than my observations here in LA amongst Korean-Americans and American-Koreans, as well as..well just regular Americans.
That’s been more or less my theory as well. We share similar biological triggers, but how we interpret and act on those triggers are influenced by cultural background. One thing that needs to be considered, however, is that often, culture is a result of biological or environmental pressures.
Clothes are culture, which are a result of biological pressures. We were cold and needed shelter. So came clothes, and houses. Diet is a consequence of environmental pressures. We are(were) limited in what we can eat by what is around us. So, if there is a biological factor, I think it would be revealed culturally as well. Another consideration in the development of culture would be societal pressures. Regardless of the environment that caucasian blond you spoke of was raised in, she’s still caucasian, and therefore that alters her experience dramatically. Her experience cannot compare to the experience of an African-American female in the same community. The AA female would most likely integrate much faster into the community and adopt cultural norms more readily (here, I would consider biological factors to play a role - skin color alone is one, although we hate to admit it) than the caucasian female. Also, culture is also tied to the past. AAs have a history of slavery (I speak from an American viewpoint, there are many other cases/exceptions) which is ingrained into their culture. The history of slavery is an aspect of their culture that I doubt many AAs feel can be shared by many, if any, of their caucasian counterparts. That’s not to say that other ethnicities haven’t experienced oppression, but rather that the individual context and history of that specific oppression is interpreted by the oppressed community, trickles its way into the culture, and over time becomes an ingrained facet of their culture.
Thus, I conclude that although there are biological factors that separate us, its the cultural commonalities that allow us to interact and communicate. Without culture, we have no society, we’re just a bunch of human beings operating on our most basic instincts. Culture is what binds us together, even the most polarized cultures (every culture has some sort of eating tradition.) So, if we are attempting to form relationships, I feel that common cultures will lead to more rapid formation of relationships than common biology. Because as far as our reproductive systems are concerned, we are all very common biologically, but there are many cultural differences.
Thanks, you too for bringing up a good discussion.
I see..thanks.
