Hmm, that is interesting and maybe counter-intuitive. I would just have taken for granted that if heated the 'mones would be destroyed. The hottest part (the upper blue part) of a candle flame can be as hot as 1400 C (2552 F). I have ofc no idea how different 'mones reacts to high heat, that’s for AD to answer, but I guess that different molecules will have different properties in this regard.
I guess that as wax below the flame itself melts, a portion of the 'mones may be released ‘sideways’ and escape the flame?
There are many well known brands in the world that use scent as a signature of their own line of stores. Such brands include those in the fashion industry, food industry and needless to say, colongue industry.
Take a walk down mcdonalds in different countries and you smell the exact same smell all over the world.
In a way, mones also help create that sense of identity when people talk and relate to you. When you change your scent, people do take notice especially if your scent stands out from the crowd.
I believe its Chase Manhattan that has ‘money’ scent. (The ones in NYC anyway).
Also Four Points by Sheraton has something called “Pinwheels In the Wind” which is interesting. Its supposed to remind you of childhood.
And Westin has “White Tea” which smells nothing like tea but in my opinion does smell like an old lady - who drink tea, so there you go.
Theres a lot of that going around. Add pheromones? Maybe. Its a thought. Although to keep a continuous spread of it in a place big enough like a club or a store you’d need a big bulk of them. Getting enough bulk means cheaping-out and thats never good in chemistry. (Thats why we’d rather sell out of something then get on our knees and give in to buying garbage like so many others.)
But I digress. I just think it would take a lot of molecules material and you’d need a really good diffusion. But with this stealth diffusion technology who knows whats in the future?
People by nature tend to bend over towards familiarity. This is why most retail stores stick to consistency even though their stores might be spread out in many different countries.
I would imagine that if wind got hold that stores would be using mones, it might arise as a problem of a morality issue.
Truthfully speaking I doubt that many of us share our usage of mones publicly. This itself shows that underneath that thin layer of goodwill also lies intent to benefit in secrecy without the knowledge of parties involved.
When things become a moral issue, it than starts to go through much debate before it ends up not really moving anywhere, especially in the grey areas of certain concerns.

I guess the breakthrough will come when someone gene-engineer some bacteria (of a strain that cannot survive ‘in the wild’ ofc) to produce specific pheromones. Then they just have to set up a couple of bacteria vats in the cellar..
There’s actually a company on the internet who just about jacked the Androtics forum model and has a selection that seems to be heavily influences by the Androtics Instant line - they sell an electronic pheronomone diffuser as well as a this pheromone patch that sticks on under your ear ala Oceans 13. I don’t trust that type of business practice so I won’t promote their name by mentioning it here.
Well, Once the Wax Melts the SCENT is Released into the Air Carried by the Air Flow Generated by the Flame… The Heat is Almost NOT an Issue at All… Once the Scent is Released from the Wax as it Melts it’s Carried Away… Yes, a Flame is HOT at the Wick, However just an Inch or Two Away it’s No More then Your Own Body Heat… Infact the Flame can Reach Over 1400 Degrees (Depending on Wick Material) However the Wax (Soy Wax) that is LESS then a Half inch Away NEVER Exceeds 120 Degrees… Sure Some Mones might be Lost but Not Nearly as Much as You’d Think…
