Well hello there everyone. I have been lurking on these forums for several days and decided to register, post, introduce myself, and get started.
I am an 18 year old male in college in the great state of Michigan.
The story as to why I am here is a bit longer than that, though.
Once upon a time, I was a small, skinny, unathletic, pale, uninteresting, nerdy little boy. I didn’t get along well with other boys my age and whenever I tried to get to know a girl better, I was friend zoned instantly (see above for reasons). I was a very nice person and meant well in every way and did a very good job of being their friends, I just wasn’t what they were attracted to. I wasn’t a muscular jock of any sort, I did not have any interesting hobbies (I competed in Tae Kwon Do sparring and was very good at it, I also competed in the online team-based shooter Counter-Strike and won money in several tournaments with a team that I met online, but these obviously aren’t things you can brag about in Junior High or High School), and just was all-around unattractive and unpopular. After several years of living like this, I gave up and fell into a deep depression. I stopped trying to talk to people, make friends, meet new people, or talk to strangers. I shut myself in, did my homework every night, did my Tae Kwon Do, and played Counter-Strike for the rest of the night until I decided to sleep. I avoided social contact and the presence of others, including my family. I dedicated myself to myself, and became very lonely and fell deeper into depression.
My parents’ encouraged me to see a doctor or use some sort of depression medication, as my family has a history of genetic depression. I resolutely refused. When my cousin committed suicide while using a anti-depressant as prescribed, I knew I had to change something in my life. I was fed up with living the way I was and dedicated an entire year to reinventing myself and changing the circumstances of my life in my favor and was very successful.
I began practicing and competing in many different styles of martial arts instead of just Tae Kwon Do, including Brazilian Jiujitsu, Wrestling, Boxing, and Muay Thai. I gained 40 pounds of muscle and fell below 8% body fat with a new weightlifting and strength and conditioning program that I created for myself. I completely changed my look from head to toe and almost immediately started turning heads when people realized who I was because nobody recognized me. Very good looking girls would even openly tell me that I “turned hot all of a sudden without warning.” (exact quote)
Since then, I have been obsessed with a continued desire to constantly improve myself. I am always looking to improve my looks, my athletic performance, and skill as a martial artist. However, one thing has eluded my ever since I fell into my depression, and that is what led me here.
Before my depression, I was a normal person. Ever since then, even after totally overhauling my life and regaining most of my self-confidence, I remain deathly shy and closed in emotionally and mentally due to some insecurities. After being rejected and friend-zoned by so many girls, I am very hesitant to introduce myself or talk to any girl that has not initiated conversation with me. Even then, I have difficulties. Basically all of those girls that told me I was hot, I immediately felt extremely awkward and could not talk to them anymore. I have lost many opportunities due to my social ineptness. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being most socially awkward around people that I do not know, I am easily a 10.
I now have a very close group of friends, girls and guys from high school, that I know on a very deep personal level and I am very comfortable with. It is also very easy for me to communicate with other men and establish connections and friendships with them. However, I am still prone to the same social awkwardness and insecurities that have always plagued me. Even when I see the indicators of interest and can tell that they want me to come over and introduce myself, I cannot do it. It is very difficult for me to talk to girls. Period.
Now, on to the mones.
I would like to see if mones could help me overcome those insecurities and open up and introduce myself to them, or attract females enough that they would introduce themselves to me.
Due to the fact that I am an 18 year old male, work out twice a day, and then in addition to that practice a variety of combat sports, I would assume that my natural -none production would be through the roof. This, combined with the fact that girls have not approached me (and displayed behavior similar to the “ghosting” effect) since I’ve started to really ramp up my strength and conditioning to another level and started training hardcore, suggests to me that I might be naturally ODing on -none. So I believe that Ammo, IJ, TUTH, etc are totally out of the question for me. Is it possible to OD on naturally produced -none? Any thoughts about this particular situation of mine?
I have read a bit on the nomes on this forum and it seems to me like IO, IShine, IH, and IG might have the effects that I want. Any thoughts about that?
I have not bought anything, but am looking forward to it after reading some of the posts about different hits people have gotten and what not.
Overall, just from lurking on the forums for the past few days, I can already tell that this community is very open, receptive, and helpful, and I can’t wait to see what happens in my potential future endeavors with nomes. ![]()
