So I looked up the Custom Additions section:
Men’s Fragrance Customization :: Custom Additions :: Androtics Direct

Basically, the 30mL containers of the customized mones are way cheaper than the non-customized 30mL containers. So technically, can’t I customize a fully equivalent 30mL Instant Honesty mix (or any other mix, for that matter), for the price of a 5mL TO-GO size non-customized IH?

If you guys understand my question that is..

oh a second question is, what is the difference between Neroli IG and Akuto IG? I’ve been looking into IG lately since I’m a high school student and I heard socials such as IG is good for teens. I heard Akuto-scented IG produces better results, so I’m hoping to customize it and order it. Is this a wise decision? Does Akuto scent have any side effects, like containing -none or cause depression?

For your second question, Akuto is a fragrance option. Personally, I prefer it to Neroli… I think it can stand alone as a cologne scent. BUT, that’s my personal opinion. The Neroli is supposed to have better sillage… vapor trail… so, YMMV…
It will not have any side effects other than enjoying its scent… or not…

Not sure about your first question… The $15 is on top of the price of the 30 ml bottle??? This is the price of adding a custom scent package to the norm, replacing it, basically. Is that your question?

Regarding the Akuto scent:

Alright I just recieved my IG today. MY original intention was to cut off from mones to get my social life together but I had to test this stuff out. I ended up putting 1 sp of IG to the wrist and 1 to the neck (Akuto scented). At first the scent was veryyy different, it wasnt bad, just different. But when it died down, it smelled great. I also noticed the smell diffuses A LOT better than neroli and requires HALF THE SPRAYS. I decided that I would test this stuff out at my local barber shop…

So scent is not the only factor playing here I think..? Further explanation?

Your first question - The price in the custom list is an extra charge, on top of the product price - this is why it is a reduction for a downgrade to 6% strength on Ammo but an increase on upgrades to other 6% mixes.

As for your second, the difference is that Akuto is a quality cologne scent in its own right and my personal favourite of all the AD scents I’ve tried so far. Its diffusion is excellent and IIRC, it is described as trailing, as opposed to F21 and Neroli’s even ball. Some folk describe Akuto as a rather mature scent, esp compared to F21’s clean/astringent or Neroli’s fruitiness so it is up to you to consider if it will go down well with your age group? If its any help though, I’ve never had a bad reaction to it, from women of any age and I have no physical irritation issues myself.

I’d also go as far as saying that I don’t really regard Neroli as a scent in its own right, more it is an efficent diffusion aid that needs to sit well with my main cologne, be that an AD scent or some other and to that end it works very well - Neroli is in fact a common component of many commercial scents.

And now F22 is gone, my next bottle of Ammo will be a custom in Akuto. Hang the expense!

Fragrance customization only applies to full bottle (30 mL) consumer products, in the Instant line, TUTH and Ammo. It does not apply to To Go (5mL) sized products, or the experimental MX series, where fragrances are already set.

My bad, SteveO… Thanks for all the help guys! I think I’ll go with Akuto next time, as I don’t feel I am getting much results with Neroli scented products (IS, IH, IO).

I actually just saw this change-scent option today.

Is there a way to get a sample of each scent (like walking into a Macy’s perfume/cologne section)? My nose is really sensitive to smells and can’t stand a lot of cologne smells. Would hate to order and wear a scent I hate lol.
