I looked rather hard for some answers, but only confused myself and found none. Sorry to be a bother with these noob questions.
Well, both my TUTH or Istant Shine and my IS/a come in Neroli scent. Yet my IS/a smells nice and girly. My TUTH neroli smells kind of musky (which is expected, since it is a guy’s product), so Im just wondering: Does neroli come in a two scents or something? Like, maybe neroli can smell musky and can also smell like perfume? Haha, now Im just sounding stupid and confused.
I really loved the IS/a scent, but the Instant Shine smelt like a man and gave me quite the head ache. They both said they were Neroli scent, but to me they smelt a tiny bit different.
My next question:
When going to the Women’s Fragrance Customization, why do they cost so much less? It is the pheromone, right? Just, you get to choose the scent, yes?
Also,
why does EST cost so much compared to the rest? ;___;
first off, pheromones have smells to them, some have pretty pungent smells.
the neroli can only cover them up
your still going to have an underlying scent which is the pheromone-
so any products covered with neroli will still have identifiable differences.
some not as much as others.
EST is a very costly molecule.
alot of the putatives are too.
not all molecules are as easy to get as say, whats in IH so i guarentee there is no mistake with the prices…
although reporting users do get a bit of a price cut after so many reporting posts.
i report alot on my experiments,
even when they dont work or work so well,
so that Androtics can further their research.
they can pinpoint what the pheromones do more precisely so that our mixes to play with here become really sharp and targeted.
Well, I am well-aware of your first statement. I was just wondering why both my products are neroli yet smell different. But I guess it’s the pheromones. Thank you for clearing that up for me.
& Thank you for the rest of the info too, Lor is luff.<3
So, what about the Woman’s Fragrance Customization question? Why is it so cheap?
Also, if I want to help give my input on the test ones, Journals would be the place to do it, yes?
actually Katie,
the whole women’s forum is for reporting.
you can start a new thread at anytime with the heading of your choice based on any particular mix/putative/molecule.
its also good for questions if you have any, too.
sometimes i just spend a day reading through all threads, just like a newspaper
the journals are perfect for more personal/specific reports when they are happening more often.
mine are almost daily,
so i thought it best to report there unless there is something i think the whole forum might be interested to know.
as for the price of the scent covers,
im sure Tisha will be by to explain the pricing situation.
she is definately the one for questions store-specific
or
you can always message her.
I haven’t made any custom orders, but I believe this is how it all works…
If you want to customise a phero product and change or add a specific scent to it, you can only do this with the “Instant” products, not the Mx’s or Experimentals…
The price you see in the menu for customization is for the fragrance only NOT the phero itself, you have to add the phero separately to your shopping basket.
Lets say you want to order Instant Shine but don’t want the normal neroli scent, but instead want to have it choclatini. You need to do the following;
Add the IS to your shopping basket
Go to customise womens fragrance & add Choclatini
That’s it…you’re done
The reason it costs extra to add or change a scent is because they have to do a special mix just for you, and it’ll also take a bit longer for your order I think…
I hope that helps… I’m sure Tisha can explain it in a better way, or correct anything that’s not quite right of what I said
You guys are always so helpful, makes me wanna hug ya. Thanks so much!
So, soooo, so sorry! But I have one more question.
Im curious to how you all would describe the scents. Scent is an important aspect for me, so I don’t want to choose a scent that I would die in, ya know.
Neroli, you don’t have to explain, I got that. Smells very nice.
Anyone who has used some of the other scents want to give some input and describe it as best as possible? I would be forever in your lovely debt.
In the past Androtics scents have been pretty overpowering. They now have a very good professional perfumer, Michael Storer, on board, so expect some very nice, subtle and complex scents in the future.
A few weeks ago Steve made the announcement that Androtics had received a new neroli scent that was “lighter” than what they have used in the past. It is so much better, hands down than the heavy, choking neroli they used in the past.
Most guys don’t like Game. Most women adore it. It is a clean and light and complex men’s daytime fragrance.
Akuto is also a very good men’s fragrance, more dark and musky and more suitable for evening wear and power.
Chocatini smells like chocolate. Cookies smell like cookies. Grapefruit smells really weird because they added either chocolate or cookies or both to the grapefruit.
Most of the women on the forum use their own fragrances as covers for the mixes. In the past more effort has gone into the men’s fragrances in the mixes than women’s. Hopefully that will change.
i would love some funkier scents,
when chocolatini first became available it was alot of fun.
especially when alot of us were wearing alot of cops and needed a nice heavy yummier scent cover.
the chocolate gets overwhelming if you wear it every day,
and alot of us like to switch it up.
cookie was fun too (MX215 i believe is cookie, that mix is awesome)
but i think you will have more choices in the near future than we had when we started.
i have to admit though neroli is really the easiest of all the scents to get along with, even if it isnt anyones favorite.
