Wolf and I got ready for it, carried on as usual, and hoped for the best. We got away relatively unscathed compared to others in surrounding areas. Miraculously, we have power while most are still out. Around here winds alone can knock out power and heavy rains/storms often bring on mudslides near the river. Getting around can be a bit tricky, depending on where you want to go, because a number of roads are closed/bridges washed out. It’s a mess. Still, it wasn’t as bad as I expected but ya never know. We lucked out this time. I feel like we dodged a bullet, lol. My garden even survived! A little clean up on our property today and all is well.
