Oil based pheromones will last longer in warm weather as they diffuse more slowly. Alcohol based pheromones disperse quickly in the heat and won’t last as long. I love spraying in my hair. It’s great for diffusion in any weather. I’ll put anything in there that doesn’t stink too bad…lol. Of course nothing oil based and no EoW…ever!…and nothin’ like cookie or chocolatini. But that’s my preference, I’m sure there are plenty of girls who spray all that in their hair. Just make sure you use a good clarifying shampoo and conditioner as alcohol based anything will dry your hair out like a mo-fo. Pulse points are your best application points…on exposed skin if possible…back of the neck…behind ears…sides of neck…inner elbows/wrists…cleavage…even behind your knees if you’re wearing shorts or a skirt. A good way to do it is to combine the two if possible. Use an oil based pheromone, first, and then hit it up with an alcohol based one or even spray your cologne over the pheromone application points. That will initially help diffuse the oil base a bit faster. Then you have the added advantage of the long lasting oil base which you can always top up again with a refresher. So, in essence, you get the best out of both. Also, if it’s terribly hot…I know it’s been ungodly around here…you may just need to refresh more often in general. So, grab your to-gos and stash some in your purse. I never leave home without them. Ya never know when you might need to punch up/change the game plan.
Hell, you can even spray to the backs of your hands for super quick diffusion. Especially if your targets are only going to be exposed for a few minutes. So you’ll want to hit 'em hard and fast to leave an impression.
Yes, you can put your pheromones on over lotion. I let the lotion absorb for about fifteen minutes before I spray. It will slow them down a bit. You can also put EoW directly into body lotion and slather it on. A good way avoid “stink spots”. (< I know I’m gonna be sorry I said that… …lol).
I’ve seen many threads on this…maybe try doing a search on diffusion?
The most important things to remember about oil based is that the hits are more subtle then with the alcohol based. You need to wear more oil and have a higher concentration of pheromones in it then you would use with a spray.
Take raw power for instance.
10mcg of Androstenone per drop. Most people think they will OD on that. Untrue, the slow diffusion rate of oil makes you actually need more Androstenone to get a similar reaction. Turn Up The Heat on the other hand with only 2.5 mcg of Androstenone hit hard and fast.
MHarris has always said “diffusion is king” without it you have nothing. Oil products being heavier slow that diffusion. Less pheromone product is getting into the air which is why you need a higher concentration of raw pheromones.
So say you took your Instant Sexiness and put it in a scented oil. At its current ratio of pheromones you would see very little effect if any. Now take the same formula of pheromones and quadruple that and then add it to oil. Now you have something you can work with. Its why your better off layering if you use a oil based perfume. This way you have the correct ratio of pheromones to carrier. Adding it to another carrier just dilutes it.
That being said…
Yes when its hot the rate of evaporation increases with a alcohol product. I find I need less when I apply to see a reaction but I need to refresh about 1 hour earlier then normal conditions. I also find the pheromones can turn smelly easier, not with hair applications but with skin applications so I tend to wash off my application area before I reapply. Unless of course you work in a controlled environment then your fine. I am in a Mail truck all day.
Well I find hair the best for non stinky pheromones like Bella mentioned. In the summer I pull my hair up on top of my head so behind my ears, back of my neck and earlobes work well for me. Men are normally taller then me so this puts them right where they can inhale it best. You work in a office I assume so places that heat up on the body other then pits and groin are best.
Once the moisturizer absorbs in if you then cover it with pheromones you should be fine.
If you apply pheromones then cover with oil or lotion it will slow diffusion. You will need to wear more product to see the same results as you would in just using the spray. Example If I use 2 sprays of Instant Sexiness normally with a spray cover when I use a oil based cover I would use about 5 sprays of Instant Sexiness to see similar results. This varies a little then the adding to oil method because when I apply oil I dont cover the whole application point so you wouldnt need quadruple the amount, its more around double.
I had it all covered when the weather was cooler. Now, in the summer, I have had to re-learn application all over again - each time the weather changes.
I guess the thing is after a few minutes the smell is gone. Then like perfume, there is that uncertainty. I cant smell it, did I put enough on? Did I put too many kinds on? Not enough? Why did he not drop to the floor writhing in lust foaming at the mouth like a rabid dog?
In all seriousness… Although silly, I find that because “the girls” are major sweat glands, they really are the best place to put my “priority” pheromone of the day. What everyone calls the sweet spot.
Plus, the area is relatively protected from the weather - especially the sporadic rain July brought to this part of the US. Since I am way too old to be a girl gone wild, my top stays on thus ensuring the protection of my valuable pheromone.
However the “sweet spot” referred to is not the application point…sweet spot though it may be and an excellent place for diffusion…it means the number of sprays/dose of pheromones required to achieve the desired result/reaction…only achieved by individual trial and error.
