The only person who knows of my phero use outside of internet forums is my mother oddly enough. Then again I’ve whipped up special batches for her to use as well. The only one I haven’t mentioned to her is the EOW. She’s really cool as far as moms go, but something about admitting to her I regularly use a product that has only one real intention behind it. . .yeah that would be a little past the line of wierd.
I’ve not yet told a target, and I’m not sure if I intend to. I have this fear that there will be someone special and I decide to share it with him, only to have him then question if the pheros are the only thing behind the attraction. So unless someone is rather open minded about this kind of thing, I’m going to remain on the shy side about my little arsenal.
As to how I would feel about a partner who used them, honestly I wouldn’t mind. I think I would rather not know at the time he is using them, that way when he tells me I would have a better idea of how I’m affected personally.
This is an interesting ethical question. I personally don’t tell anyone about my use.
If ever confronted about it would I own up to it? Maybe. Depends on the intelligence and open mindedness of the person asking. And on your eloquence in explaining the concepts behind use. Could just blow up in yer face.
But I recall reading somewhere on these forums that the majority of pheros don’t change the target, they change the wearer. In the words of Eric Cartman: “Its my body, I do what I want!”
Besides, free will is still free will. If pheros do make someone do something they aren’t proud of, wouldn’t they more than likely done it anyway? It ain’t GHB.
Ha! I was going to try to keep it a secret from my husband, but wouldn’t you know it, the first weekday off he’s had in months happens to be the day my first pheros arrive. headdesk So I told him it was a surprise and didn’t open it right away (took all my willpower!). If he hadn’t been here, he would’ve never known!
Anyway, depending on my results (yesterday is the day they arrived and I just opened 'em this morning), I may tell select friends. I know some that could use more respect at work, some who get stressed easily, and some whose relationships need a jumpstart. If the pheros work well for me, I’ll tell them because I love them and want to help them out.
LOL. Yeah, I suppose if my husband ever checked the CC statements he’d figure it out, but I do most of the banking for us.
Anyway, the reason I didn’t tell him I’m trying pheromones is because I don’t want to cause a placebo effect. I have no doubt that the Androtics pheromones, and others, do work for some people, but obviously they do not work for everyone. I’m going to try using mine without his knowledge to see what happens, and if they work for me/us, I will definitely tell him. And then he will probably tell me to buy it by the gallon!
I love testing them on my husband and on other people without them knowing it. It’s the only way that I can really see if the products work or not. I have never seen pheromones make people do anything they don’t already want to do. Sadly, I’m sure that my husband would be really angry with me if he ever found out. He would think that I’m wasting money on scams. He would probably feel like I have manipulated him and would feel taken advantage of. I would love to get some pheromones for him, but I know he won’t go for it.
I hate not telling anyone so now I have someone on board who share stuff with. Oddly enough my mother is using mones now. She can’t make enough observations to give me reports but she tells me her patients leave her alone now XD.
I don’t think I have one friend worth sharing the idea of mones with anymore. I tend to be double crossed even by my close friends so i don’t even bother telling them anything anymore. Mones are my pot of gold and my pot alone outside of you peeps
I personally just tell all my friends, which if you knew me well you would know that when I say “friends” it means the six people I would trust everything but my life with. There are a few exceptions, but the others are mainly people I let try them out, for experimental reasons.
Definitely keep it to yourself for the most part. I learned my lesson early on, most other people just don’t “get it” and they may think you a trifle odd.
Of course, with close friends and “significant others”, thats a different story, use your judgment.
I mean friends and random persons on the street , in a supermarket or in a club etc is one thing.
Now when you look at pheromones you may look at it from what the stores sell but it’s larger than that and these things actually work.
Now when we think of secret we think of keeping or withholding some information from someone , that to me is straight out lying by omission.
I usually tell my boyfriends/lovers after the fact because obviously if I tell them it will affect the outcome. Now all of them get angry and feel lied to , betrayed with good reason and make me swear never to use it on them again.
Ladies please this is only my opinion so remember that.
If you are in a relationship with someone and that relationship started off pure , no lies and you want to keep it that and you want that in a relationship I feel that their should be no secrets, at all.
The same way you keep pheromones as a secret and have reasons for it , is the same way he can keep something he feels he’s justified to as a secret in the relationship and I for one wouldn’t be too happy about that.
In terms of keeping pheromones as a secret, I think in most cases yes because it is better for your results and most people don’t understand it. In relationships I say it’s a no no.
Only three of my friends know. Obviously, when you’re around people in the teenager age group, it’s just easier to let the effects speak for themselves than try to explain the theory to people who just aren’t willing to look into the science behind it and usually just water it down to, “So, it makes you attractive to others?”
@BigJake. I love your avatar, it fits perfectly! “I’m soooo into you!” glomp
Back on topic…
If I was hooked by a girl and that lead to a good relationship, I personally would not be negative about it. Than again, that’s just the kind of guy I am. If something good came of it, I wouldn’t be mad.
And I haven’t told anyone, not that I have anyone who deserves to know at the moment…
