Telling friends about pheromones!?

Telling friends about pheromones is an interesting issue. Do you keep your pheromone use a secret of share it with your closest friends?

I’ve told one friend, who didn’t believe me so I stopped sharing it with him. I told my brother, who kind of understood immediately, but didn’t like them from a moral perspective. Yesterday I told my friend who is in a shitty relationship and he was resistant at first. After about 10 minutes of specific details he is open, and willing to learn, which was all I wanted.

What about you guys?

I let my best friend know, just for experimental reasons. I really only plan the opinions of a knowing second party, although he is a douche hehe.

I’ve told multiple buddies of mine - One has basically straight up said he thinks it is all placebo (which is funny because he is HIGHLY affected with A314)

My best bud was skeptical, but said he would be willing to try it out (I still need to get him a sample of my AMMO, heh)

My LTR thought they were just for sex initially (which didn’t make her much happy) but I showed her the forum and then it was all good - She likes Shine and uses IS/a on occasion.

I don’t go broadcasting it… but I don’t really try to hide it either

Well Conundrum I tend to live by a moral compass that even makes me sick sometimes although I’ll admit i bend certain rules as my own exceptions. I believe its only okay to share the concept with mones with someone who will be responsible with them and not abuse them for tyrannical ends. Now I know that sounds extreme and free will will always be able to overule with mones. But things such as A1 overload to go cause depression in guys or perhaps even a anone bomb that could probably turn a party upside down are larger concerns for me. Not to mention from over a year of experience with mones from other places then obviously to AD I’ve learned that obviously you can cause quite a uproar in class or at work and results can be monstrous. I accidently made my pharmacy boss so scared of me that when there was a concern with the cart of medicine I pulled my partner stepped in to take the blame because she was absolutely terrified of my demeanor. On top of that I’ve destroyed total class sessions with a-nol by accident to the point where the lesson couldn’t be taught not even for a second cause i raised the rowdiness of everyone around me.

On another note I may sound greedy in saying this but I believe for the sake of effectiveness and society that only a minute part of society should know of mones as if they every truly became mainstream I think monstrous things could happen with huge pheromone clouds (radius due to multiple wearers)
Such as a complete anone OD or a-nol OD or any amount of things. I think its best to tell friends you really trust and know will do the right thing with them.

i 100% agree.

oh and i havent told anyone i know about pheromones. and i dont plan on it. im keeping it a secret. except for one of my good friends who is intrigued with human personalities, human “chemicals” (mones) and lucid dremaing. he loves researching that type of stuff. ill probably show them to him soon because i have a feeling he will be fascinated by them, and will use/experiment with them. but other than him. nobody.

The only person I’ve told about wearing pheromones is my husband. I think if you tell to many people you’ll lose your edge. Also if you tell them they tend to bring up the subject at the most inoportune moments.

I’ve told a few friends who I feel would benefit from them. A couple of my friends have placed orders and are testing them and we have discussions about it.

It’s good to have some people you know testing so you can help them and vice versa.

If knowledge of your use mones get around, especially at work or after a nasty breakup, the threat of a lawsuit is oft mentioned by offended parties. Even if they have no case, the stress and hassle is unpleasant to say the least. It’s better to let sleeping dogs lie…

No, what is the use of doing so?

Yes we must guard our pheromones as if we were wielding the dark arts themselves MUAHAHAHA.

well, i think everyone has a few friends that could benefit from using mones. wether it be for business reasons or if they use it for meeting people, or if they’re looking for a long term relationship. from my point of view i would share with my very close friends if they would use them for good intentions. like the ones i mentioned. my 2 cents. thats just me though, because im a very thoughtful/helpful person and thats something i would do.

My thoughts exactlyyyy!!

I’m honestly a little surprised by the poll results.

While on one hand I like having a secret and don’t necessarily need people knowing I use pheromones, I’d say that my brother and 2 best friends may need to know. It’s situational.

My brother is in a great relationship and very happy. He needs no pheromones.

My very good friend is in a horrible relationship and is in so deep he can’t get out and isn’t sure if he’s in love or not basically because everything’s so clouded. From an outsider’s perspective, he clearly needs to dump her as it’s ruining his life, quite literally. Taking away a lot of potential fun and happiness. In this case, I told him about pheromones and think it will work out for the best in the end.

He knows he could at least have a little help or inspiration to go out and meet new girls, friends, or just enjoy life itself without a dating relationship. He just needs a slight boost in the right direction besides verbal advice. While this boost is small, just saying “we’re done, don’t talk to me again” or hopefully breaking up nicer than that I’m just making a point, breaking up for him is a humongous task that the knowledge that there are at least pheromones that work out there could help with.

Just my 2 cents

Actually many of us have been there and done that: told friends, colleagues and lovers about mones and been laughed at, called a loser and, yes, even threatened. I see no reason to waste time educating and imploring people about mones only to risk losing their respect or having sexual harassment complaints filed. I have far more important things to do in my life than defend my reputation among peers and administration. My past experience is too often they consider mone use quackery, perversion or something roughly at the social acceptability level of habitual narcotic use. Choose your confidants extremely carefully or suffer the consequences.

This is definitely a VERY important thing to keep in mind. I’m glad Gegogi brought this up, because basically everything he said is true. Pheromones seem to have this bad light shined on them and you really don’t want to risk letting uneducated people know that you wear pheromones for the very reasons Gegogi mentioned. If any of the guys at the place I used to work at knew about this they’d laugh their ass off, but whatever I know what’s up.

I think my point of view on this is similar.

I’ve shared the concept of pheromone usage with only a few friends.
I shared with a male friend of mine because I thought he would have a great use for pheromones. He’s very timid and shy, and very self conscious, so he has an unbearably hard time with girls. In reality all he needs is a confidence boost because he’s a wonderful guy and he’s fairly attractive, so I thought he could DEFINITLY benefit. He looked around the site and the forum, but said he didnt have the money to spend on it right now. But he seemed very interested.

I also shared with a close friend who could use a bit of a confidence and/or happiness boost sometimes. Recommended Instant Shine to her…she went through the site and was super excited about it, but she too decided to wait til she has money. But I think she’ll end up joining the forum soon either way.

I shared the concept with another girl friend who’s been my going out buddy several times lately. She thought it was awesome and was eager to try some. I shared my chocolate gift with her :stuck_out_tongue:

My only failed attempt at sharing was purely accidental. When trying to link the second friend mentioned above, I accidentally sent the link to the wrong window on AIM - to a guy I used to hook up with sometimes. He didn’t let it go when I said I sent the link to the wrong person…started asking questions. I answered, because I figured there was no use in making up lies. He definitly went with the whole “it’s a placebo thing” response. I got irritated with him, and I think he got mad coz I was arguing with him about it. I didn’t tell him, but when I saw him at a concert a few days later, I was wearing some, and I definitly got an appropriate reaction from him, even though I sort of ignored him most of the night.

I think it’s nice to be able to share - with the right people. Especially if they can benefit from it. I think it would be neat to have another person to bounce experiences off of in person (nothing against the forum…I love it here. But it’d be fun to have someone to test with in person). Anddddd at the same time, I, too am trying to guard my secret weapons for the most part. Don’t need any added competition from friends :stuck_out_tongue: And don’t need any possible targets to know that I might be getting a little help.

I think the whole thing doesn’t even matter at this point. With things such as Dial magnetic body wash being around I think there will always be quite a few people who will read the bottle get curious when they see the word “androstadienone” look it up and voila into the world of mones. While I’m all for Androtics Direct getting more customers the idea of mones going absolutely mainstream is unappetizing to me =/

I realize that may be a moot point but there is quite a bit of logic behind what I’m suggesting. I guess the only aspect that saves face is that there will always be a majority of skepticism lying in wake of something whimsically unreal such as pheromones as mentioned by Gegogi.

This was exactly how I felt when I made this post. The last thing in the world I need is for a lot of people to know I use pheromones, so I only told 2 people. The first person I told was one of my best friends and I did it really casually just to see his reaction and he basically told me all pheromones were a scam, so I backed off.

I think a lot, almost all, has to do with intention. If you are telling your friends so that they can get laid by a lot of hot girls, and you’re recommending tuth only, that’s not classy. If your best friend is having marital problems because his sex life is suffering, tuth may help.

That’s how I feel about it, and am glad I told this specific friend because without pheromones I think he’s going to end up staying in a horrible relationship. But with pheromones he will at least have some inspiration to get out there and meet new people and better partners, a slight boost that could change everything for the better for him.

Don’t forget that telling someone about pheromones will probably even hinder you receiving any pheromone related reaction from them just because of the fact that they now know. So they’ll start fighting them being influenced by the pheromones just because they know that’s what you’re wearing them for. So definitely in this case it’s better to keep it quiet, especially if you wish to receive a reaction from said person be it guy or girl.

I have to disagree on this point - Since my LTR found out about 'mones I have noticed no perceivable difference in her reactivity to different phero mixes.

TUTH still makes her jump my bones, IS still boosts her mood, MX276 is still a very precious product when we start to fight

IFM is still very… very… very useful when Aunt Flo comes into town
