Do You Keep it a Secret?

Hi ladies. I was wondering if you keep wearing pheros a secret. Do you tell your partner, “Hey baby, I’m wearing pheros tonight, wink wink…” or not? I wonder if saying you’re wearing them would create a placebo effect. I also wonder if revealing that you’re wearing them has ever caused any trouble, such as “How dare you use that phero magic on me!” I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Do You Keep it a Secret?

Yes.

Yes, I keep it a secret. Yes, I sometimes feel a teeensy bit guilty about it. Then I get over it.

Do whatever feels right for you.

Yes I keep it a secret for the most part, my husband has no idea even though it is right under his nose. I don’t feel guilty or think of it as a big or bad secret at all.

I’ve told a few friends and have had varying responses from interest to people who assumed I was a sucker buying snake oil. The latter repsonse is irritating. More pheromones for me! :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep I keep it a secret from the men I seduce

But I have told a lot of my gf’s and have gotten them quite interested after them seeing the amazing results I have had!

I just recently told my sister in law who is SOO curious, but she mentioned it to my brother (becuase she wanted to let him know she was going to try it) and well he now teases me . he is very straight and narrow and is often satisfied with the status quo…she regrets telling him lol

PRECISELY my thinking!

Some will sniff me and ask, “WHAT are you wearing!” And I will ONLY own up to perfume and just sort of giggle as they sniff in great big DEEP breathes of the pheros and my very good parfume.

I dont hide them but I dont really talk about it with my husband either. He dosnt really touch my scents or potions as he calls them, except for the sugar scrubs in the bathroom. I cant tell you how many times he comes out of the shower smelling like Pink Sugar LOL. I like to tease him about it. I really have to start buying or making him his own scrubs. I love Blue Sugar on him.

Some of my friends know but I dont discuss it with those who are not close to me.

My boyfriend has a tendency to frequently say things like “You smell so good” in the middle of things, but of course, I just let him think that it’s the perfume doing the job. Or if I’m not wearing perfume, I’ll just let him assume it’s my natural scent.

compna!

thank you so much…
I was originally wondering the same thing…
(since, i think i have a fairly substantiated vibe that overall most keep it to themselves)
but, YAY! thanks for laying it out there… lol…

Ive considered searching (lol… but whenever i do that i get completely lost and forget my objective.. speaking of which, is there an easy way to view past posts chronologically?)

partly since discovering this place  and placing my order, etc (ie dreaming about poss effects on certain people) i am continually finding myself thinking up ‘potions’ or mixes for diff people in my life (this is informationally via posts at this point for me) and I wonder about giving it to them telling them or not… hmmm…

oh, and the obvious other parts… lol… w/ the mens & such… lol…

but yeah, thanks!

der…

i figured out it was the pages while musing in the shower… lol…

and while testing my brilliant hypothesis… i saw the envelope legend at the bottom… (hel-loO… lol.. a little TAF maybe? lol…)

Sorry to intrude, but I wanted to ask you ladies for future reference. Changing the question a little, would you prefer if you’re special someone wearing the pheromones to tell you the truth (that he is using pheros at the moment)? My last date didn’t seem to mind.

Just on the side note, I wouldn’t mind if a girl told me that she was using it but then again I use pheros myself.

And some they do and some they don’t. I’ve never revealed my use to a soul outside this and the LS forum. Partly because mones have helped me do more than a few things I’m not very proud of. However I’ve causally brought up the topic with former GFs and female colleagues and, sadly, reactions were negative to say the least: grounds for law suits, perv, loser, doesn’t work, etc. If you educate them how and why it works and, especially, that freewill is still fully functional; you might as well scrawl pheromone user across your forehead. Ironically they were under the influence of my pheromones during the conversation, especially androstenols…

Incidentally, over the years, this has been an oft posed question here and at LS.

Tater doesnt even tell Jasmin what hes using…

No - I do not discuss it with anyone. Would i prefer to know if the wife was using them - maybe in general yes - but not at any given moment. Surprise me.

I don’t want to tell, I don’t want to know!

I know i have a wiener and everything…but for the record, i keep mine on the DL too  only a few select friends know anything about it. well, and my employees know too, cause i keep my arsenal in a while box at work

We are supposed to have ‘wyles’. Ultimately all perfume is marketed to communicate something to someone. Most of plastic surgery is about communicating something to someone. Clearly we buy clothes to communicate different things to different people at different times. Men should and usually do expect us to do things that make us more attractive to them. A growing number of men seem to be doing lots of things to make themselves more attractive to us. Usually all of these effects upon our affect work best if they are understated and unannounced. Pheromones are what perfumers were trying to capture with musk whether they knew it formally or not. We would be careless if we didn’t take advantage of all the tools we have available to us, we would be communicating that we simply don’t care enough to do our best with our lovers. i don’t lie about how old i am, but refusing to tell was to my mother like wearing pheromones is to me.

I keep it a secret from all but Wolfie…a deep dark secret…lol. I didn’t want to keep it from as him, as to me, because of our close relationship it would feel dishonest.
I also wanted us to have fun with it together…and we do. I don’t stand in judgement of those who do keep it from their SO, ‘cause only you know the dealio there… …everybody has their reasons.
I don’t necessarily tell him exactly what I’m wearing when though…rather than tell him outright I would just rather gauge his reaction to it…and he is surprised :open_mouth: !
Trust me.
Thankfully he’s always my willing test subject …the fact he knows is enough…he doesn’t need to know what…though now that his nose is trained…mostly due to the distinctive neroli scent that I prefer in pheromones…he’ll say, "So, what are ya doin’ to me now!"…lol :stuck_out_tongue:

Woohoo! My first post on the women’s forum. I’m breaking new ground. Personally I can understand the hesitancy in letting anyone know you use pheros. I don’t tell anyone, and I don’t even use them for “things I’m not proud of.” Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t ever tell anyone though, if we had a relationship of complete trust.

For myself . . . if I ever found out that I was the target of an attractive female using pheros, I’d be quite flattered. But then, I’m a pretty understanding guy.

Galydrum:

Trust me on this one. I won’t lead you astray. Just don’t tell anyone you use pheromones, especially someone you trust and with whom you are in an intimate relationship with.

I know it sounds counterintuitive. You should be able to tell the one person you are closest to in the whole world that you use pheromones, but you really can’t.

It’s kind of like if you know someone is cheating on your best friend. If you tell your best friend about it, they will only get mad at you.

Human nature is what it is. Just don’t tell anyone. Really. Trust me.

(The only exception would be an older couple, where they both use pheromones to spice up their relationship. But that is an entirely different kettle of fish.)
