Fierce is pretty awesome. From the scent itself I’ve gotten mone’-ish effects. It’s gotta be one of the best smelling ‘bright’ colognes ever, imho. My favorite ‘dark’ cologne being Drakkar Noir.
I just want to clear up something before rumors spread and somehow become accepted fact - there are no MXs in the line that are currently in any commercial mainstream product like Abercrombie & Fitch.
I don’t know about its pheromone content as obviously I don’t work for them - but just clearing that up.
I dont think it’s a pheromone, but I think it smells damn good, and chicks seem to drool over the scent xD
Same here, because when all the trendy people are using it, I can say ‘nyah nyah, nyah nyah nyah, I used it firsssst!’ Eric Cartman Voice XD ![]()
Fierce is okay but there are colognes that smell way better then it and 1s that are less mainstream and known. I hate when people smell like me.
There are lots of colognes/perfumes that have really profound effects without any pheromone content. . . for women I’d give the example of ANY of the LaVanila scents. . .the response it gets on me. . ."Oh MY GOD GIRL. . .what are you wearing?!?! DIHL and that is just from other women. . .men can be a little more or less subtle about it depending on the environment (see journal about “non-blooming wild ginger”)
who makes Hormonal Essence and do u think it would work on a 9th grader because if it does i want my son to get some of that.![]()
I can understand where you’re coming from, but I always get compliments on their scent Fierce. Even by people who I don’t believe went into A&F stores. Also often when I say thank you they’ll be persistent in wanting to know what’s the name of the cologne. I do feel it’s a generic scent b/c it’s allayed in their stores and probably used by tons of college guys BUT I always get nice compliments when I wear it. It’s funny Burberry Brit, Cool Water, Tommy Hilfiger, Joop, and even Lacoste (I love the smell of it) doesn’t get me nearly as many compliments as this scent or those other “younger scents” that you buy from American Eagle (true I believe it’s called) or Hollister (Jake).
Me and my mate where sitting & talking with some women at the bar in one of those big members club type places, where they have a bar, restaurant, dining area, pool rooms, dancing area, gambling machines
one girl went to the bathroom and when she came back Mmmmmm did she smell goood! I said “mmmm you smell goood!” and she told me she had just sprayed on some Impulse I think it was
I heard once to light a vanilla candle when trying to sell a home. I use to wear vanilla lotion under my cologne when I worked in sales to try and help make me come off even more warm and friendly. Although lately I’m liking the idea of an aura of confidence as the best way to be more marketable/appealing.
*The LaVanila comment made me think of this.
I also read colognes we like the smell of actually are chosen based on our own body odor/chemistry. That colognes shouldn’t mask our odor but compliment it. I just read this last night I forgot where. My mom wears Jovan’s White Musk and it’s pretty cheap and she always gets so many compliments. She told me a guy bought it for his wife after smelling it on my Mom, and he told my Mom it didn’t smell the same on her lol. My mom also isn’t somebody who looks for compliments at all.
