ammo smells like Hugo boss and just a lil hint of cool water but more manly
I never smelled cool water to tell you the truth but Michael the maker of AMMO and the man who commissioned the scent said its simular to cool water and Hugo boss. I figure I will take his word for it LOL

funny you mentioned hugo boss, i have no idea what that smells like, but hugo boss is having a huge advertising campaign going on in NYC subways right now, they actually turned some of the NYC subways cars into what they do with their ad campaigns, where they put linings all around the seats and walls making it look like hugo boss
when i see that i know i would never personally buy hugo boss because i would never want to buy a cologone that everyone is buying i would want to smell great but a unique signature
Supposedly Ammo smells identical to Nautica Competition Relaunch (yellow bottle), though I’ve never tried it. But I have the older blue bottle, and that is pretty darn close to Ammo.
Yep, Ammo smells exactly like Nautica Competition (yellow bottle with black graphics). However the word “Relaunch” is not written anywhere on the bottle. Simply says Nautica Competition.
I have used cool water for years and in my humble opinion Ammo smells NOTHING like cool water. Cool water has a sharp spicy scent, Ammo’s scent is potent but it dies down a bit sweeter. At first when I smelled Ammo I really didn’t like it at all, I thought it a bit night club-ish. But after wearing it for a while I think the scent has grown on me a bit, and besides my chick seems to dig the scent so as long as she likes it I really couldn’t care less what I smell like.
To be quite candid, I think the scent of Ammo is hyped on these boards and on the Androtics web site. As a new customer I was led to believe I was buying some sophisticated cologne…perhaps on par with Armani’s Aqua Di Gio or Bvlgari.
What came out of the bottle can only be compared to the musk-heavy $3 TAG or AXE deodorizing body spray…something you might smell in a high school gym locker room. It does not smell like Cool Water (a fragrance I wore when I was 16…)
But as a cologne connoisseur, I personally find the scent to be cheap, unoriginal, and unsophisticated. That said, it’s not unpleasant smelling. (Michael may well be a GENIUS to get androstenone to smell this inoffensive!) But if I wore this to work people would laugh at me.

Oh no, Ammo is much better than TAG or AXE! Yes, it has that sharp zing of an inexpensive WallyWorld cologne, but it whips body sprays and good. In fact, is appears to be a clone of Nautica Competition, a budget product aimed at the youth market. And, yep, you can buy Competition for $15 at WallyWorld or Ross. So, yeah, it’s cheap.
At first I was somewhat resistent to wearing Ammo but the effect on my targets made it worth it. Plus women seem to really like it so what the hay. You could always order a custom 4X batch and mix it 4:1 or 5:1 with your fav poison.
I don’t think it smells that cheap, its not like aqua velva or anything but its nothing that great. I don’t think it smells like hugo. It might be some what close to cool water, but not the same.
My husband wears AMMO. Truth…idk wtf it smells like…lol. I’ve never smelled any of the colognes it’s supposedly modeled after…but I can tell ya this…'course now..ahem…I’m older than the girls you’re chasing and I can see where it could appeal to younger women…but I really don’t care much for the scent of AMMO…it’s just OK. The effects outweight the scent for me…so…take it for what it’s worth…
Yes, I agree Ammo’s scent seems to appeal mainly to younger women. Not a bad thing…
Not at all…lol…I jus prefer a deeper more complex, sophisticated manly scent…and, of course, a sophisticated manly man to go with it. 
To me, Ammo smells identical to Sean John’s Unforgiveable, a vial of which was included in my latest cologne order. In fact, I might mix up the sample vial with a little Instant Female Magic, NPA, and IS and make my own kit-bashed Ammo. Heh.

I agree on that - it is not my favorite by far but I have gotten used to it because I like the effects. My wife does not complain about the scent so that makes it easy. Can’t say it is her favorite either.
Go to the other place (LS) and order some Pheros. My absolute favorite Fall/Winter scent. I’ve posted about it before. The one scent I wear several women have commented on favorably. Very favorably.
Good thing you got Wolf 'cause that description would certainly leave most of us out of the running - lol.

They were out, then they had more, then they were out again — I can’t keep up. I bought 2-3 bottles last time just to be safe.
Colognes and fragrances are very much de gustibus non disputandum. Everybody has different tastes. An expensive, classy frag may be vile to somebody else. Price has little to do with it, since in reality most perfumes/fragrances are made in only a few locations around the world by a handful of companies to the specifications of “designer labels” and the drugstore stuff.
FWIW… I largely dislike modern fragrances, but some can grow on me. Cool Water is decent stuff. I like floral, yes, floral fragrances, especially in the cooler months (Florida “cool”). Carnations, geraniums, lavender, that sort of thing.
You can’t really fault Androtics for going for a trendy, modern scent. They have money to make, else you won’t all those kewl new pheromones.
