Hey guys,
So I’m a repeat user over here and I’ve always loved Ammunition. The smell alone of that gets the girls. I usually order a bottle every 6 months or so. But this most recent order I got smelled waaaaay different. The strong but good aroma was replaced by something weak and almost floral. Am I just tripping? Did they change the scent? Do you think that somehow the messed up and didn’t add the correct scent?
I haven’t ordered Ammo recently, but I’m wondering what responses you get to this. Does the new Ammo scent smell like MX203? If so, that would be really awesome! I love the MX203 scent!

I just got a bottle and the new scent is called Game (look at the bottom sticker). Not even a distant second to the original Ammo scent. After drydown is smells sour and wimpy and doesn’t do a good job of covering the mone content. Hurl. With Ammo 1X I never–not once–smelled mones–great cover and scent. What a shame. I won’t be buying anymore after this as the new stuff is total shit–a big steaming one at that.
Ammo was pretty close to perfect so it escapes me why they’d hose it so throughly. I bought 2X so I might try mixing small amounts 1:1 with Nautica and other colognes and see if I can save it. Probably a lost cause. Otherwise it’s back to exclusively homebrewing for my cologne based stuff. I really like Burberry Weekend mixed 5:1 with NPA.
I been using the game scent for a long time in fact before they changed it i customized my ammo with game scent purposely I find women like that scent much better then original ammo
I find game scent smells very close to cool water and creed green irish tweed, which I have both, so many times I layer it over it
then again also depends upon your skin chemistry as well
i have gotten more compliments from game scent alone which is great because that gvies me an opening

naah dude…Ammo’s 1.0 scent is waaay better, though its a personal choice. it just has something spicy and addictive to it. Game scent is just boring, nothing orginal. its ok but it aint the reason mx200 or mx203 work.
of the scents here - ammo and a314 r nicest. then IS or IO’s neroli. i wouldnt buy a GAME scented Ammo, defeats the purpose really
green irish tweed smells terrific. good to wear during the day.

Man, why is everything coming out of Androtics recently game scented??? It’s the worst stuff I’ve ever smelled! Can’t stand it!!

Yep I love it and own a bottle, one of my favorite scents and women love the smell of it, one compliment I got was that I smell divine when wearing it
Creed makes some highly quality scents, my other favorite creed scent to wear in winter is Himalaya
i’ve been thinking about buying Himalaya for one of my fall/winter colognes. it’s so hard to find a place where i can test it first before i buy it. the cologne stores at the mall make you buy it without testing it first, because they say it’s too expensive for test sprays. i bought green irish tweed without testing it first, because of that, but i read nothing but good things about it, so i risked it.
do you have any of the bond #9 colognes???
the game scent smells interesting - i don’t dislike it but i get a headache from it after a while.
I only know it from MX203 and i have the suspicion that the scent might contribute to the fact that MX203 only works on some girls… had some girls tell me they LOVE the scent and some tell me i should get another cologne…
but all girls liked the akuto (original ammo) scent so far 
i think i will order a to-go of the new scented ammo and compare the results with the ladys to see if its the MX203 components or the smell that results in those mixed reactions…

hmm.. PMed Jasmin and left a message. wonder if i could get the original scent and then judge from there cos i have the cool water cologne already and the smell is good but i would like something different. (cos i read in some thread saying that game scented smells like coolwater)

wow i’d like to try Himalaya since our Canadian winter is approaching but its a little pricey. Any other recommendations? They’ve got some pretty good deals over at FragranceX.com along with free shipping worldwide check it out. They claim to only sell authentic scents but then again I haven’t ordered anything yet.
I live in NYC…so home of the fragrance area galore! We have everything here, Barneys, Aedeas, Bergdorf, Saks 5th Ave you name it
I buy all my Creeds at bergdorf goodman, and know the Sales Associate personally and treats me good. I am able to test everything and she gives me a lot of samples to take home.
I do not own bond # 9 at the moment though I am thinking about purchasing Riverside Drive and Bleeker street, both of those are my favorite and they last a really long time, 3 sprays lasta about 12 hours, and are beautiful. I have a few samples of those.
If you want I still have a little left of my Himalaya sample, it not a lot but enough for you to smell it I can drop it in the mail.
sweet, but you have to give me your addy, so i can mail you the money that it costs you to mail me it. do you buy all your stuff at the brick and mortar stores? there are very good online stores that sell almost every cologne you can think of for much more reasonable prices. the only bad thing is that you have to sample it somewhere else first.
Thanks guys for all the Posts. That’s a shame that they changed ammo. SOOO many ladies asked what cologne i had on and they loved it. the new ammo does smell like mx203 how that you mention it. the smeel doesn’t agree with me. Think they’ll refund me if i send dit back?
that’s too bad. Ammo used to be my favorite product by far! but with this new scent, it’s not even wearable by my standards
kind of interesting you say that becuase i could not stand the original ammo so much i had to send mine back and get a refund i thought it smelled horrible
funny thing is mx203 smells so similar to cool water and cool water is like the #1 cologne of all time practically especially in the 90’s and women love that on a man
the bad thing about cool water is almost every man had it and got used way too much sort of like aqua di gio is nowadays, but the good thing is very few people use cool water now compared to 90’s
well in case if all of you skimmed over the post way back by Denec, the scent was changed to deal with new IFHRA or some similar organization due to one of the compounds. and that the current scent is temporary. well atleast we know that they didnt do out with one of our favorites permanently.
i guess our noses are wired differently haha. i cant stand mx203 and you couldnt stand the original ammo. I guess everyone reacts differently to different smells. and isnt mx203 caucasian based supposedly? i hope they let us know what is happening soon with the new Ammo. I bet they’ll offer 2 scents. that would be the best way to go.
