Female laughter

People think I’m witty and funny and I can get a girl to laugh no problem. I can generally tell if it’s a real laugh because my friend who is seriously unfunny brings out all the fake laughs before I say something funny. I’ve been reading a lot about attraction and I realise that being funny is a big part in attracting a woman. The problem I have is when I say something witty to a girl the laughs I get are casual and short lived (about 10 seconds)

I went to the toilet yesterday at the same time as two of my female friends who went to the toilet next door. The walls where very thin so I could hear them talking about something random then I noticed crazy hysterics like full on belly laughing. I notice this kind of thing is quite common, girls talk about something which to me sounds like complete gobbledygook and burst out in hysterics. I never understand what’s so funny, it’s as if they’re talking in code. When they talk about getting a girl to laugh should they be engaging in the kind of laughter mentioned above as appose to the less hysteric laughter I usually get?

I don’t use sarcasm or any other form of humour that puts people down just witty, clever remarks that don’t offend. I’m wandering if there are any sites or books that can help improve your “sense of humour”? I’ve heard reading a lot about just about anything can help make you funnier but I’m wandering is they’re anything specific? I don’t want to be class clown (been they’re and done that in high school.) just want to get the girls to laugh more intensely every now and then.

Spend enough time in the right places of the internet and you’ll become a funny machine.
google:
lolcats
xkcd
ctrl-alt-del
and thats all I can think of off the top of my face.

Oh yeah, be random, but not too random. Like if you’re asked “how are you doing?” reply with “like a muffin”.

We do talk in code LOL No girlfriend laughter is not the same as witty guy laughter so you don’t have to get them doing a belly roll laugh. In all likelihood they would hold back because all out laughing for women makes us look unattractive. Mascara runs, noses get red, faces sort of scrunch. We have our with the guys laugh and with the ladies laugh.

Yes we are complex creatures LOL

For some reason, reading the title of this thread brings to mind Hillary Clinton’s overdone guffaws.

lol thanks Trisha. After posting this thread I thought about it and decided it must be down to them being more comfortable around each other. They see each other a lot, theres no sexual tension between them, etc etc.

Wearing an AMMO and Shine combo I’ve noticed that this particular girl laughs at every little remark I make even if it’s not supposed to be funny. She also told me off for sitting to far away from her yesterday “I don’t bite”. I think she likes me but I’m going to have to take it slow as shes coming to an end of a long term relationship.
