I have totally smelled this stuff on other people.
Tried A314 for the first time today and it hit me: at the dojo I used to train in one of the black belts smelled like he bathed in this! I remember that it took me about a year there before I noticed that he was shorter than me cuz he carried himself with such…largeness? Now I suspect he had a little help in that projection.
And I couldnt help myself, had to try one of the others, Instant Shine, both as a possible buffer (I went to train tonight at my current dojo) and to simply see how it smelled and lo, I have totally smelled this on girls before! Sneaky little devils!
Oh, I guess thats me too now.
Is it possible that the scent Androtics adds is derived from some kind of commercially available “stock scent libraries” and thus smells like other products?
I’ll give a proper report after a bit more field testing, but the quickie gist is, things were a little different. I perceived a bit more respect at the dojo. In particular from today’s partner, who Ive worked out with frequently. We were practicing Judo throws, and he was decidedly more apologetic about throwing me than he has ever been about anything else, including actual sparring. I mean, he’s SUPPOSED to throw me, Im SUPPOSED to hit the ground hard, thats the exercise, but every time “Oh Im sorry, you all right? Was that too hard? Im sorry man. I know Im saying sorry a lot, Im the sorry guy today, but I just want you to know Im trying to be conscious of your safety…”
Are you talking about the actual scent of mones, e.g., 80% androsterone in A314, or the added fragrance? You do realize androsterone occurs naturally on men in varying amounts?
The added scent in A314 covers the mone scent pretty well but the androsterone is under the surface and grows stronger as the EO wears down. Finally A314 comes in a number of different scents by option and according to batch. My fav is the LS A314. Sorta a spicy wood scent vs the hippie/head shop incense scent of the current AD standard.
Sounds like one to me.
I don’t usually wear A314 around good friends or people who’ve known me before pheromones. Because they tend to act very similarly and to be honest I kind of like those close to me feeling comfortable with breaking my balls from time to time.
When I wore it around my best friend (whom I’ve know since I was 3) he acted so differential toward me that it bordered on scary. There was less eye contact, his body posture displayed submissive gestures, and when he’d rag on me it was always followed by a clarification that he was only joking.
Not fun from someone you view as a brother.
From what I’ve read, yes the A314 from LS has an older formula with a different oil and scent.
Yep, I hate Akuto and, recalling LS A314 used a different scent, decided to buy a bottle. Damn, LS A314 smells great to my nose. Sorta an Asian spice intermingled with wood (pine and/or cedar?). The oil carrier is a little lighter so it comes out of the bottle more easily. I’ll be sticking to LS A314 from now on.
So now I am confused I don’t want to take money away from AD, but who makes this version for LS? Did LS get a license to make it? or AD makes it and just ships it through LS and if that is the case why can they not offer it for us so we can just order it directly here?

AD makes all the A314 variants. The one LS sells is a custom batch with different scent and carrier components but same basic mone formula and concentration. As I recall, Jasmine indicated the AD A314 uses an expensive organic carrier oil and Akuto scent package. The LS variant uses a less expensive non-organic oil and a custom scent package. You also get 15ml of LS A314 $69.95 vs 10ml at AD. Whatever, I like the smell of LS A314 much better and will never buy Akuto again. Realize AD makes money wherever you buy A314 as they wholesale to LS.
LS A314 and SOE and a match made in heaven. The scents mingle like they were designed to be together.
Incidentally, don’t have any skin rash from LS A314 although it uses non-organic carrier oil. The AD A314 does irritate my neck and forearms, although the oil is organic. I suspect the Aukto fragrance is to blame.

I noticed the other day, when I wore it and Ammo, that after several hours there was a decidedly more musky air coming off of me.
It is indeed a little bit crunchy granola for me, but I think it mixes well with the scent of AMmo. Unfortunately, Ive not been wearing cologne for years, and now all of a sudden I smell like “something”. Im on the hunt to find a subtle cover scent.
