Just finished “Mate” by Tucker Max and an evolutionary psychologist named Geoffrey Miller.
I’ve long advise young men on this board and others (and my own sons) that if they want more and hotter women, first, be a better man. That’s the core notion of “Mate.” It is largely about improving one’s sexual market value - what are your customers (women) looking for, based on their own self-interest?
A secondary insight is much like a fisherman’s - if you want to catch fish, go where the fish are. Likewise with women - some places are fished out, dry holes. As an engineer who’s lived in a variety of backwoods sites, I couldn’t agree more - we would call many places “BYOP” jobs - bring your own pussy.
Some assertions I would disagree with. The authors fail to acknowledge male agency in getting a woman turned on and willing to abandon her resistances - “last minute resistance.” women appreciate a leader!
While it makes a good case for most women having very real and valid behaviors, it most ignores the bad actresses out there, and we’ll all known some.
I HIGHLY recommend this book to young men just starting out. I’ve been chasing tail for 50 years and even I learned a few tricks from this book.
