First negative (OD) hit with TUTH

Wow.

Male, 33, Caucasian, 6’3", 185lbs, average spring day, mostly indoors

Earlier today (around noon) I sprayed 2 1/2 sprays (one spray didn’t “catch” completely) of TUTH. Wife got home, got a little upset that a package she was expecting didn’t arrive, but other than that fairly friendly and talkative. (see my other posts for a full background on this story) Well, Aunt Red finally left a couple of days ago, so I backed off the Instant Shine to one spray and decided to let the TUTH off the leash. Anyway, we got back from grocery shopping, she was still in a fairly good mood, so I decided to bring the big guns online.

Took a shower, careful to fully scrub the areas where I had sprayed both the TUTH and Shine. Dried off and laid on the TUTH. One spray to chest area, one to each forearm, one divided between wrists. Four total sprays, more than I’d ever attempted at once before. Go back in the living room and watch TV and wait to see a reaction. I wasn’t expecting her to jump me right there on the couch, and boy was I not surprised. She seemed to back into her “shell” a little bit, even moving to the loveseat when she got back from using the restroom. Hmm. About two hours later, as she was getting ready for bed, I decided to see how she would respond to interaction. I attempted to give her a kiss, not the “Just how far back are your tonsils anyway?” type of kiss, just a gentle, tender kiss. She broke contact almost immediately and went into “FULL DEFENSE MODE…DANGER WILL ROBINSON!” I backed off and gave her some space, deciding that trying out my new racing computer game would be less hazardous to my health.

Later, when I asked her why she had drawn away so abruptly, she told me that she was sorry, I just caught her at a bad time. Well, considering that we had been doing nothing but reading and watching TV for the past three hours, there had been nothing to upset her. I asked her what made it a bad time, and her response (as close as I can remember to verbatim) was: “I don’t know, I just got agitated and upset all of a sudden. I can’t explain it, it was nothing you did, I just spazzed for a moment. But right now I don’t know why, but it just hit me.”

Well, the only thing that I did was jack up the dose of TUTH, which almost instantly made her distance herself from me. So obviously if I have a sweet spot with TUTH, it’s BELOW four sprays.

Be careful with TUTH, it seems to OD at fairly low doses. Back to finding the proper mix again.

That’s not an OD, that was simply a miscalibration on your part . Don’t forget that -none does not come off with just soap and water. You might need something exfoliating. Plus then you have a wife already in an admitted not great mood. You bad, bad boy. Slow down killer, you don’t need four sprays.

Yeah you need to be really careful with TUTH even though your an older man i dont think going over 4 sprays would be a good idea at all and since you had sprayed some on earlier before you took your shower theres a pretty good chance that there was a buildup of the -none in TUTH. Some people say that even after taking a shower and scrubbing the applied areas the -none from products can still stick to you so it could very well be that you had something close to six sprays worth of -none build up on you! im only 20 years old so i just use one spray and two max! also it might help that you dont use the TUTH every day and give a rest about one day or two after you use it again so that you dont get the same bad effects that you experienced with your wife.

I honestly think I’m going to lay off the TUTH completely, stick to the Shine until I can afford some IFM coupled with some Openness. Then, if the situation improves, I might consider a spray of the TUTH if (big IF, along with a major WHEN) it looks like things are headed “that” way.

Is there a “removal guide” I missed in all of my reading? What’s the best way to completely remove the previous doses of pheromone? It’s possible that the TUTH that I applied when I first started out wasn’t completely “gone” when I quit using it and switched to the Shine. After the fiasco yesterday I scrubbed the sprayed areas pretty vigorously with a soapy rag…

BTW, there was a post earlier about pheromones and dogs (and fish, oddly). I now know that my cat LOVES TUTH, couldn’t stop rubbing up against the washcloth I’d used, had to eventually take it off of the drying rack and toss it over the shower head, lol.

Just get something that exfoliates the skin. I try to use some Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother to wash the mones off. Never had a buildup that way. Others use witch hazel, some use bay rum. I wouldnt worry too much about it, only if you are applying more than once during the day.

I’m curious about the effects on pets too.

Maybe we should have a removal thread?(if there isnt one and if there is where is it?) I’ve noticed a lot of us do apply things more than once a day myself included. :o It may be a good idea for excited new phero users to have that tip.The more information the better sometimes

Actually, there was a removal thread, it’s right here. We pretty much exhausted the ideas but I agree it needs to be a sticky.

Also found out that one of my other cats (male!) was absolutely in love with me and tried to lay on my neck when I tried MX292.:open_mouth:

I could make several crude remarks here, but I will refrain…

Hey! electra I am suprised how an elegant 28 year old lady would need pheromones, unless it is to test or just lure the guys and have a laugh.Looking at you, you don’t look like some one who needs pheros. I am sure you attract as lot of attention as it is.
Peace
