Ok to start, I have never actually used pheromones of any sort before, and as far as I know, I havent been exposed to them. This thread is here to chronicle my experiences. I hope my details and observations are precise enough.
Ammo(To go) Testing Day 1: October 12th, 2010. Applied at 1:15 pm.
1 spray to the left wrist, then rubbed onto other wrists and sides of neck.
Outside temperature: About 75.
Testing Location: Work/my parents’ store.
People Involved:
“A” - Late 20s, white married female.
“B” - 18 year old white single female.
“C” - 20 year old white male.
“D” - 18 year old white female who might have a boyfriend.
“E” - Late 20s, white married female.
Self-Effects: I felt 100% normal before I applied. No irritability, or stress…just a slighly happy tone to my mood, probably because of my excitement to see that my package came in. However, I waited for that feeling to mostly die down before I applied the 1 shot of Ammo to go. No noticeable effects immediately. I just noticed that I liked the smell of it.
About 5 minutes later, I was slightly light headed and could see that I was a little irritable…not in an overly angry way, but in an impulsive way. For example, the garage door wouldnt shut until the third time I pushed the code and it caused me to kind of get mad for about half a second, only for me to kind of laugh about it and be back to normal. Thats basically sums up the feelings I was getting from it for the rest of the day and still now as I’m typing this: quick to get pissed off, but back under control in a split second. Basically, I fight the urges back pretty fast. Its nothing too overpowering, and its probably because I’m not used to mones yet, but the feeling is definitely there. Also, when I was driving to the store, I felt like I was going really slow, but I was going the usual 45mph speed limit. It just felt more like 30 to me. Probably not relevant but I thought I should mention it.
Effects on others: I first went into my stepdads office and talked to him. Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. However, he’s in on the pheromones as I’m going to spray some on him later and see his results. He’s getting a kick out of the experiment. Just as I did, he loves the smell. I next walked up to the front counter and told one of the managers, “A” that I wanted to talk to her about being put back on the schedule. We sat down and she seemed pretty normal. Then again she’s married, and even if she wasnt…well you get my point. She might have listened to what I had to say more intently, but it might have been nothing. I placed my order with “B” and she was nice as usual. She does have a very bubbly personality, but it seemed like the longer I was around her, the more lively she got. For example, after I had already talked to her for a few minutes, she walked by a short while later when I was sitting alone and just made some little noises and some weird moves with it. I’m not sure what it was about but it seemed playfully flirtatious. Before she left she came and sat by me for a few minutes. She seems to walk a little closer than…maybe not. Who knows.Moving on…no noticeable response from “C”. When I asked him if he liked my new cologne, he said it smelled like a drier sheet…soapy, etc. Not so much that he disliked it, but it wouldnt have been his preference. A few of the other girls agreed when they smelled it, but none of them disliked it. Back to the pheromone effects… I got quite a response from “D,” I think. I’ve worked with her for a while, (I only work there once a week) but I’ve never really just talked with her for any length of time. Today she seemed very friendly and sat down with me to eat on her 30 minute break. We talked the whole time, just like friends, but its odd that this has never happened before. She did make 1 comment about wanting to go to this haunted house on friday night, but her having to work. I dont know what to make of that. Next person, “E.” She’s the manager that I always joke around with and she kind of puts up with my crap, but never usually takes me seriously, and she kind of just halfway blows me off. Today, she was very nice to me, even though I was joking around like always, and was actually somewhat engaging in conversation with me, though work related. It almost seemed as if she was looking for more to say. Thats somewhat out of the norm for her.
Its now 5:15, approximately 4 hours after application. I still feel the effects, though theyre dying down slightly. The scent is fading from my wrists, but I can still smell it lightly.
