Ok, so here is a little thing I’ve noticed helps you notice when people are paying more attention to you.
Change something about your appearance the same time you try a mix that you want a reaction from. Such as wear a slick shirt. Get your hair cut. Don’t wear glasses (or do).
This obviously works best when you have something new that the person hasn’t seen, but in general I’ve noticed that if you reserve a particular item for when you try a powerful mix, you might get repeated reactions.
IE. sometimes I wear glasses, and generally they go over well. but i’ve begun to notice that people comment on them more when I wear pheros. So i generally mix the glasses with a mix when I want to give people a reason to tell me how good I look. And with the right mix, people almost always come up to me and tell me how great I look in glasses, even if they’ve already told me several times before. That’s just one example. I’ve got shirts that I’ve worn a million times before, but on the right night with the right mix “That shirt just looks great on you.”
Changing your appearance, even if slightly, gives people something to direct new feelings for you, and helps them be more comfortable with the change, and more willing to tell you that you look great. Obviously, whatever it is should still make you look good.
Or maybe I’m just reading way too much into things and you should totally disregard me.
Hi martyk - sounds like a great idea! I’ve noticed the same thing when switching between glasses/contact lenses. There’s also the old trick of giving them something to correct, like a crooked tie, or a conspicuous speck on the shoulder, stray wisp of hair - can be a good way of seeing who cares about the way you look…
Reps to Martyk and ES. Great ideas, both!
Indeed, I have bought some new clothes recently. I have tended to wear them coinciding with my phero wearing, so people who know me well have a rationalisation for why my “aura” may have changed; they’re likely to pin it on the new clothes according to my theory.
I should try the “something out of place” trick next and see if it elicits a helping hand from some chick who wants to correct it…
Some women can’t stand crooked shirt collars and JUST HAVE TO fix them. I know it drives me nuts. I’ve even been known to fix a complete stranger’s collar standing in a fast food line (after I asked if I could, of course). The girl has to get pretty close to your phero cloud to do that, ya know.
It’s very much along the lines of Mystery’s peacocking (I don’t know if the concept originated elsewhere, that’s the first place I’ve seen it) though, I think he took it a little over the top.
I would say most women pay attention to the little things and having something different, even something subtle, kind of throws you off, keeps you thinking (and looking)…hmmmm… what IS different about him today…I just can’t quite put my finger on it…I guess I’ll have to hang around him a little more to figure it out…
Great insite martyk!
Also, even if you’ve had a long day at work, don’t be afraid to loosen up a little…loosen the tie quite a bit, maybe open a button or two when you stop off at the diner or coffee shop. Whew!!! That just reeks self-confidence, hard-working, sexxxaaaayyyness. Yeeoowww!
Maybe in keeping with a rakishly dishevelled persona, one needs a spray of something like Instant Jerk, but milder. I haven’t tried IJ myself, but the reports suggest it is powerful and intimidating even at one spray.
Something like a mixture of IG with just a tiny, diluted smidge of a -none/copulin formula to give a cheeky “man of the world” impression
“Instant Loveable Rogue”, anyone? Ah, you know the archetype, he was common to TV and films on both sides of the Atlantic during the 1970s in particular. My mind’s gone blank trying to think of the actors/characters who exemplify it, though; I’m not good with films/TV.
