Good News: Moving to organic

Here’s some good news…

In our neverending quest for perfection, we’ve changed the base alcohol used in our spray products to an all organic, ultra premium distillation for 2007.

There are many differences between this and a typical “perfumer’s alcohol”.

First, the assay I’ve received from a BATF-approved lab shows this as being several times purer than even the finest vodkas. That isn’t true of most perfumer’s alcohols. Most perfumer’s alcohols are the discards from the beginning and the end of the alcohol distillation process, and are lower quality than alcohol produced for consumption. What we’ve now moved to is the “heart”, the center, of distilled batches of alcohol that are higher quality than most people are able to purchase for consumption.

Second, only certified organic grains are used for the source “mush” used in the fermentation process. There are very few perfumers that stop to consider the source of their alcohol. Only a few boutique perfumers that we know of use organic alcohol in the production of their products.

Third, none of the bactericides, antibiotics, or toxic solvents that are used at major distillers, were used to produce the quality of alcohol we’re now using.

Fourth, in fact all phases of the alcohol production follow the organic production guidelines.

Fifth, a caring artisan distiller, whom we’ve personally talked with, actually produces the alcohol for us in small, tightly controlled batches. When there’s a problem or other issue, he can answer directly to us. The large scale distillers are relatively anonymous. When we’ve had issues with the large scale distillers in the past, we’ve never been able to receive definitive answers due to the number of people involved in the chain of production.

The end result should be a product you can hold in your hand that’s safer than ever to use, and perhaps better performing and smelling, too. Less toxins = less byproducts that could potentially interact or occlude the action of pheromones and fragrances.

Warmest regards,
Michael

Michael, you really are a jaja perfectional – and now your (perfect) pitch for all-organic product is … perfecter .

Very cool news. Congrats!

(Perfecter: when something that seems perfect gets noticeably better)

Sounds good!

It sounds very promising! I can’t wait to try some products using this new method.

I have afew questions , (1.) Will the use of organic distilled pure Alcolhol actually not just in theory improve the effects of Pheromones ?
2) Will this increase the cost of your products ?

wow Michael!

Kudos for always seeking to improve your products.

Do you have any evidence that this purer form of alcohol will make a difference? Based on what you’ve reported it certainly seems that it SHOULD make a difference, but that’s a tad different than knowing that it WILL make a difference.

When will we see this purer alcohol in the products? If I ordered a batch on january 4th would I receive the newer samples?

When do you think these purer alcohol will be present in the product line? If I ordered a batch on January 4th would I get them?

Mr.Harris, are you sure your not producing Consumption grade alcohol? just by your decription, it sounds mighty tasty, or maybe im just mighty thirsty

hey if you ever distille some high grade tasty moonshine, il be your first customer…

Heh. Now that’d be a healthy product line “Instant Moonshine”.

Hic.
