I’m curious to hear from women who have used it, particularly if you’ve used it on other women, in any sense or fashion, as well as on yourself.
I’m considering getting the larger size right off the bat; obviously the to-go sizes are terrific for trying out different things (I have lots to play with now due to their affordability!), but it’s also clearly more cost-effective to get the big bottle if you plan to use it regularly.
I’m very curious to see whether it would mellow out my psycho boss. Among other issues , she’s seriously high-strung, agitated and frequently hostile – everyone else in the world besides her is stupid, incompetent, ignorant … ad nauseum. She can’t hold a thought in her head (must be like a blender in there) for any appreciable time … and is the worst verbal communicator I’ve ever worked with (clearly related to that hurricane in her brain).
Yeah yeah, I need a new job, I know. But as long as I’m stuck with her …
If you would, also let me know if you got it in any different scent (I don’t know how it ordinarily comes) and how you liked that, as well.
I am in your same boat, X! I doubt I’m a big ray of sunshine 100% of the time, but there are some folks that are frankly a chore to interact with…and I hope that Instant Female Magic will help me deal with them more effectively!
If you get a bottle of the Instant Female Magic, try sneaking into her office when she’s not there and misting her chair. It sounds like she needs all the help she can get.
I’ve used IFM quite a bit, though not on other women. The effect on my own hormone-driven moods is pretty dramatically positive. I’d be cautious in a mixed environment because it may (and probably will) disturb some men, but if your work involves mainly women, I think it would be great.
Sorry your boss is such a trial! It does sound like her issues persist through the month and may not be hormone-related at all - but it’s worth a try.
I work in a tiny office with four other women, including the CB (Crazy Boss or other name … take your pick). No men to worry about disturbing. My best friend used to work there – he got me the job – but she fired him because he wouldn’t take her crap. She seems to just hate men generally (she talks trash about her husband and her teenage son all the time), even more than the rest of the human race.
I have no idea about her status re: menopause, but we’re both 50, so it’s possible. And it might cheer the other ladies up – she’s mean to them at whim, so there are days when everyone except me is greatly unhappy (I am usually quietly pissed off instead; I have a very active Triple Warmer! ).
I’m going to get some Instant Female Magic for my daughter at least, because she suffers from hormonal mood swings pretty badly. Maybe I’ll just get a couple of To-Gos to check it out first (after reading many posts, my “want” list is pretty long despite the generous package I just received!).
But I might try it on the CB too. I actually hope it does improve her mood. It’s funny to quip “sucks to be her”, but it’s not at all funny to watch someone living such an angry, miserable life. 'Course, I do have the Liquid Sunshine to try on her too …
Sounds like an excellent testing situation - 5 unhappy women and one overheated Triple Warmer! I think you’re on the right track for sure; please let us know what happens!
Down the road you might want to try some MX134 or even A314 (yes, the men’s product). I love MX134, and just got some A314 for my husband and of course I had to try it too … so far, I like it. You know the kind of warm safe feeling you get around a man who’s really strong, capable and good? that’s the vibe of A314. It’s powerful (and it smells divine, in a very mild, almost subliminal way). Maybe your office could use a little balancing out of all that female energy … (been in quite a few of those in my time, working in the medical field)
Carrie - I would love to know how it changes your perception of and how you feel about your husband once he starts wearing it. (Given the discussion there has been in earlier topics about the funny reaction you can have if you start wearing mones around people you know well).
Me, too - he’s really resisted them up to now but he decided to give this one a go. I originally thought of A314 when he was in a band with an idiot (extremely negative and controlling) for a bandleader. He quit that band but will fill in for them one more time this weekend and it will be interesting to see if there’s any change.
In his other job, they already treat him like gold - but we’ll see.
And yes, I’m interested to see if it changes my responses to him. He already is the kind-good-wise-strong type, but I imagine if it influences him in some way, that will influence me.
I do have MX134 (the member freebie the week that I joined). I’m looking forward to testing it on her … um, in that environment … when our office reopens after the holidays. It’ll be interesting to see how it interacts with her control-freakiness; I half expect she’ll (unconsciously) perceive it as a challenge; it could get messy. Heh heh.
I know what you mean about offices full of wimmens. Even before I moved out here, I worked in mainly female offices (common in human resources, where I’ve been for a while). Many of the bosses acted out the worst stereotypes of the Woman Who Can’t Handle Power – oy.

I admit to be a big fan of Instant Female Magic. I too, work mostly with women, and I use it quite often. I tend to have good, non-threatening relationships anyway, so I wear it for myself and it works like a charm. I always feel way more relaxed and less stressed. I use it at night since that it was my mind begins to race and it seems to help me sleep a lot better!
