Hello everyone!

Hello, I’m a 20 yr old male college student from New Mexico. I signed up to this forum because I’ve always been fascinated by this concept and so far it is the only place where all my questions about pheromones have been answered.
I do have a few unanswered questions though:

  1. Are spray-on pheromones active only as long as the surface sprayed gives off its scent or do they somehow enter the bloodstream/sweat glands?
  2. Are there any studies on any long-term effects of pheromones on users?

Welcome to the forum.

I haven’t seen data addressing either of your questions. My guesses are:

1 - No.
2 - Have not noticed any long term effects. In as much as they change relationships and perceptions there may be lingering psychological effects from those changes.

Scent has nothing to do with the mones. They should be unnoticeable, though the neroli scent does pick up my mood even when the mones are long gone.

I would recommend searching the abstracts and studies thread for answers regarding long-term effects. I will tell you this though: many users used to comment on how breaks were needed between usage (like a day or two a week without using) to avoid dependency on them. People need to not always associate the usage of your mones to you. On days when you don’t use them, you might seem…off.

I do know that when I first apply them after a period of not using them, I get a headache. I’m pretty sure it’s from the stimulation of my brain. It made me tired or sluggish for a bit. Not sure if that happens to everyone though.
