Thanks for the advice folks! Yes, I was hoping that the A314 would affect peoples interpretation of me positively which would in turn increase my confidence in these situations, which would stop the negative effects of my injury, further increasing confidence - a kind of “fake it till you make it” pheromone!
Back to the pheromones we used in 1989 - I’m no chemist (as I’ll explain) but androsteadynone (?) sounds like one of them - I know that one was made from pigs - yes pigs pee or sweat or something equally revolting - the others were big double named things.
I was in the faculty of science (engineering) and one of my good friends was an undergraduate chemist - he was a kind of insane party-goer, very charismatic and a real entrepreneur. One of his friends was a doctorate biochemist, who was involved in pheromone research - they were trying to find out where in the brain sex-type pheromones fired impulses and were concentrating on the primitive brain stem. The problem was it was difficult to measure scientifically that anything at all was happening even though things were definitely happening.
My friend got involved in the research, helping out in the lab and it wasn’t long before he’d convinced the biochemist that it could be a good money maker for them if they could “invent” the perfect scent that could be used to make women want to have sex with men.
They began to run an unofficial research stream alongside the official research, using the university facilities for their own nefarious means and began looking for the sex mix and the ESE mix I talked about with the theory being with a combination of them could render no fine lady off limits!
Round about this time, I got brought on board as I was an entertainments rep with the students union and was to get them into student union clubs (kind of a group of subsidised bar, discos for drunken students to spend their grants) to test out their mixtures.
I got them a group of 10 average guys - my tag line being get paid to get laid, not being hard to refuse! With them having no contact with my friends in the lab, I was the go between and “ran” the team of human lab rats. We ran up some forms on the computer and the guys filled these in with how they felt they interacted with opposite sex and assorted personal questions, I would hand them their £10 fee (could buy a nights worth of drinks) and they went out to try and meet girls. This was the control.
Next week, I reviewed their success rates when we met and this time explained a bit more about the experiment. I told them that we had synthesised a special oil that would attract women to them and make sexual conquests easier. I measured out 2 drops and this was placed behind their pre-cleaned ears and gave them their cash and sent them out. This week we just used a carrier oil with no additives as a placebo. They came back with their results and were convinced that the oil had worked - they filled in their percentage improvements and we used this as a base line for the power of suggestion. Any future results above this should be due to active ingredients.
The next several weeks, I’d go down to the lab, get my bottle, cash, hand over and discuss results then head off to meet the team. I’d work them Thursday Friday and Saturday nights, using a single formula each week but alternating which team members received actual pheromones and who received placebo.
As the weeks went by, we began to notice definite patterns where certain combinations led to results and others didn’t. One week we had 100% success rate each night for the 5 who were wearing the formula and decided to concentrate on this mix, increasing dosage. We knew we had gone too far when one was beaten up in a fast food joint, 2 were arrested for nothing (male police men, some sort of alpha male thing) and released without charge, one was bitten badly by a dog and one induced a serious girl-fight in the club complete with “glassing”, which wasn’t a pretty sight - all which were indicative of the downside of using pheromones to influence behaviour!
We calmed down the concentration of doses and were attaining superb results with results averaging 80% success - although the placebo results were up also by about 10% suggesting that the guys may have simply been getting better at hitting on girls! It must be said that by this time the team were willing to work for free, so something was definitely working!
Satisfied with the sex element of the mix, the lab was now working on the ESE cocktail and was using something that alpha wolves give off that other lesser wolves don’t, although I can’t remember what - along with the stinky pig pheromone and other “adjuster” hormones.
The guys reluctantly came off the sex mix and went onto the ESE mix - now working in less sexually charged arenas - such as the uni library, lectures, study groups - one even wearing it to bible study! This time results were less dramatic and difficult to gauge but eventually there was near universal agreement that they were now mixing with “better class totty”-these being relatively geeky science types - and were noticing improvements in all aspects of their social interaction.
We broke for our second holidays ready for the third term and were planning to try combining the sex mix with the ESE mix - we gave some of the guys mixes to take away on holiday with them, such was their conversion to the power of pheromones!
Sadly - at the start of third term, my chemist friend had been thrown out of university - such was his entrepreneurial drive and his skills in chemistry that he had unbeknownst to me, been manufacturing drugs in his student flat!! After much police questioning, Biochemist didn’t want to know and the guys got scared off - I on the other hand had a stash of both mixes and continued to have an extremely enjoyable university experience!!!
I will look out my old student notes in the attic, as I’m sure I still have all the paperwork for our weekend prowling activities. Someone should do a similar survey with your’ products - would be fun and from the smell of your A314 mix, you have some similar compounds to those we were using.
