I joined because I want to learn more about pheromones and really just want to see if it is something to add to my routine.

Thought I should maybe explain a bit more about myself. I am actually a “venusian artist” in training, ie, an aspiring pick-up artist. Up until about two years ago I had little luck with women but since re-framing myself I have become more confident and successful. I guess the reason that I am looking for more information on this topic is that I think this may be another tool to have in my toolbox.
Oh, and just as a heads up (because I have gotten flames and other such talk after stating that I am learning pickup): I’m not out to be a “player” or anything like that; I started learning what I did so that I can not only find someone that makes me happy, but so that I can be happy enough with myself to be able to make them happy.

I guess my first few questions are:
Compared to higher grade cologne’s (Armani Code, Versachi, etc) what is the effectiveness of pheromones for opening and/or escalating attraction?
How long do pheromones last (shelf-life)?
How long do pheromones last once you put them on before they rub off or become too weak?
Heya AM! You have asked some great questions and I will answer them for you momentarily. Were you aware that you could qualify for a $25 gift certificate if you provide some information.
You have made a great start on qualifying for the GC, you have told us where you are at, how old you are, what gender you are and that is important information. You will want to provide us with a little more background information such as, what your aims are with pheromones, (what you hope to achieve)? How do interactions go for you on a day to day basis? (especially if you have a target group in mind for your phero use, such as getting more dates with women or getting more respect from male co-workers). Are you outgoing or shy? This is the type of information needed not only to qualify you for the GC but more importantly will be needed so that our resident phero experts can suggest the best products to help you achieve the types and amount of social interaction you seek.
As far as your questions, 1) Don’t think you can even compare pheromones with the colognes that you mentioned because they are different things. Fancy colognes exist to make you smell good, pheros on the other hand our made to tap into the subconcious of your “target” and signal certain things such as he would be a good provider, or he is fun, or he is a sexy virile guy". Not to say that the products don’t smell nice as well, but the pleasing aroma is just a side benefit used to disguise the scent of natural bodily emanations that, on their own are generally not as pleasing.
2). The shelf life of the products are generally 1-2 years, but I am confident once you start using them and seeing for yourself how life-changing theycan be, not much of a chance that the bottles will last that long. Ive gone thru about 2/3rds of a bottle of I/S 2x in like 2.5 mos. and in answer to your
3)rd question, it depends on what type of product you purchase. Most of the sprays last for around 4-6 hours. The oils like A314 last typically around 6 to 8 depending on different factors such as heat, humidity etc.

CHris is right. Pheros will definitely be able to help you with opening and escalating attraction. THe social pheros like IS, IO, and IH are meant to make you more social and promote conversation which should help with opening. Pheros like a314, IG and AMMO will help to display higher value and TUTH and AMMO will definitely promote attraction. Good luck and we look forward to hearing about your trials!!!

I’ll hit up the extra information that you asked for first though:
Intention: my primary intention is to have something else that I can use when I am out at night, mainly for pick-up and attraction, possibly as well for escalating interactions. A secondary intention that I may look into is making daily interactions more pleasant; if some of what I have heard is true, I may look into pheromone use on my boss/supervisor to ease our interactions.
Normal interactions: Since my primary focus is on dating I’ll address my dating interactions first: normally attracted to females 18-23-ish, I can interact well, I have more trouble opening with females. About the secondary intention: my supervisors are generally very… abrasive, or at least that is how it feels to me. I mean, we get along, but I often feel uncomfortable talking to them.
Outgoing or shy: I’m maybe 50/50; probably not as outgoing as I would like.
Anything else you would like to know?
My followup question is about use of pheromone products as well as cologne (or any other fragrance products) - in general would I want to wear the pheromone product by itself or use it in conjunction with a cologne or something? Along the same lines, would using another fragrance product along with the pheromone product have negative effects on the usefulness of the pheromones?
If you dont like the scent of a particular Phero then you can “cover” that scent with any frangrance product. it is usually recommended that you wait about 10 minutes after you apple the phero to put on the cover scent. This wont have any negative affect unless of course you apply way too much cologne and reek(scent Overdose). I really haven’t had to cover any of the scents as i enjoy most of them.
Great info, AM! I think that you’re going to want to try I/G to both up your status while on the prowl, and to increase the level of respect you are getting from your supervisor(s). A314 is a good product for status as well, but I/G is buffered with sociables that provide a number of very useful benefits.
In answer to your question, fragrances can be used over your pheros, but my recommendation is to go with the scents provided with the pheros as they are scientifically developed to accentuate the natural odor of the pheros. I think what it comes down to is if the confidence boost you get from that $600 per quarter ounce fragrance is a help, then, by all means use it. I’ve taken to washing with non-scented soaps and using natural deodorant and just going with the fragrance provided with the pheros which is fine with me. As a smoker, I have other odors to worry about. I have had some pretty good results even after having smoked within the hour so I’m sure that a moderate amount of eau de toilet won’t hamper the effectiveness of your pheros.
YOu have covered a lot of the information here with Chris so I will not rehash what you have gone over.
But I will mention two things - and part of it goes back to some of your original questions.
These products are designed to help you interact with other people from meeting woemn to dealing with people at work to day to day stuff. The key here is that they are desinged to help .. they do not do the work for you. But if you put forth the effort to talk to and deal with people then these products will help. It all depends what you want to do and what pheros you wear.
